Welcome to Hilltop Retreat, a beautiful home set above Hatton Canyon overlooking the treetops.
Situated on over an acre, the privacy and views will make you feel like you’re in Big Sur, yet you’re conveniently located in Carmel only minutes to downtown and all the attractions the Monterey Bay Area has to offer.
This home is beautifully updated and a comfortable space for family and friends, we welcome you to stay in our zen-like retreat and hope you have a wonderful time!
The space
With 3 bedrooms, 2 baths in the main house, and a separate studio unit, there is ample space to sleep 8 people comfortably. A bonus space set up as a game room/den creates a fun atmosphere for the everyone to gather around after a long day of sightseeing. Prepare a gourmet meal in the chefs kitchen or bbq on the patio, and finish off your night with a soak in the hot tub under the stars.

Bed/Bath Set Up: Sleeps 8 (pack n play available).

Bedroom #1: King Bed, sleeps 2. Private deck with sliding doors.
Bath #1: Full bath, en-suite, stand up shower.

Bedroom #2: King Bed, sleeps 2. Sliding doors out to patio area.

Bedroom #3: King Bed, sleeps 2. Sliding doors out to patio area.

Bath #2: Guest bath, stand-up shower.

Studio: Queen Bed, sleeps 2. Private entrance.
Bath #3: Stand-up shower, en-suite.

Living Room: Open space with views of the forest, perfect for gathering with family and friends.

Dining: Dining table seats 8 people, 4 additional eating spaces at island in kitchen.

Game Room: Sectional couch, ping-pong table, TV, games.

Outdoor Area: Unwind on the multiple decks, or enjoy sitting by the fire-pit on the patio. A hot tub is located off the patio with views of the forest.

Washer/Dryer: located in the Game Room.

Our primary cleaning agent kills 99.99% of all pathogens known to man, making it a sanitizer that kills 99.99% of common bacteria and a virucide that kills 99.99% of viruses, including Herpes Simplex Virus Type 2, Influenza A2, CV1 through 19, Ebola, HBV, and HIV-1, Hepatitis C.

Please note that Monterey County Ordnance requires us to collect a Transient Occupancy Tax equal to 10.5% of the rent. If the vacation rental website you're using doesn't support collection of T.O.T, you'll need to pay the tax directly to us before or upon arrival for all rentals shorter than 30 days.

To ensure proper security for our owners, guests, and contractors, we may have electronic surveillance equipment installed on the exterior of the property. We may conduct monitoring and surveillance activities limited to locations that do not violate the reasonable expectations of privacy. We do not record confidential or sensitive information. We do not install electronic surveillance inside the home, but we may cover doors to the exterior with electronic surveillance.

If you're planning on staying with us for more than 28 days, please note that monthly rental rates are discounted, but guests will be required to pay for gas, electric, and water utilities in addition to the quoted rental rate.
