Bears’ Lair is a cozy studio condo perfect for a couples getaway, small family vacation or a solo adventure in the mountains.

This condo has a fully equipped kitchen, comfy living room with a gas fireplace and sits just doors away from the shared hot tub and ski room. Quick and easy access to the Silver Queen Chair and tube town.

The shared outdoor hot tub in the Wintergreen building in Creekside is open during the ski season. For the summer and bike season, there is one hot tub open in the Creekside complex for all guests to use.

BONUS to our guests staying at this condo: Feel free to use the common room in Snowbrush, the building across the parking lot. It features two sitting areas, a bookshelf full of books, a full kitchen, and a cozy gas fireplace. You can spread out and have a get together if you are traveling with other people, or with new friends you may make on your holiday.

Your building, Wintergreen features two coin washing machines/two dryers.

Need to wax your skis? There is a waxing station in the Snowbrush building in Creekside and it is available for all guests of the Creekside complex.

Bears’ Lair is a fully equipped condo. Housekeeping is not included during your stay but if you require additional housekeeping during your stay it can be arranged at an additional cost.

The pet fee is $30 plus taxes per night/per pet. With VRBO, the pet fee listed is priced for the duration of your stay. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Parking: There are 2 parking passes for vehicles.

Ski Access: Wintergreen is part of the Creekside complex. A quick walk from the building for great ski in/ski out and access to the nordic trailhead.

If the dates you are looking for are not available please check out our other rental condos in various sizes in the same building and on the upper floor – Winterstar (2 bedroom/2 bath), Snowbound (2 bedroom/2 bathroom), Beyond the Trails (studio) and Black Diamond (2 bedroom/1 bath). We also have two additional condos on the same level – Great Escape (1 bedroom plus alcove/1 bathroom) and Namastay (2 bedroom/2 bathroom). On the 1st floor, Slopeside at Wintergreen (1 bedroom+alcove/1 bathroom) and Wintergreen Hideaway (2 bedroom/2 bathrooms). If you have more than one family or group of friends travelling together we have the perfect solution. Book two or more condos, depending on the size of your group, which provide you with close proximity and privacy.

Special feature: Our unit has a keyless entry (you will be provided the access code prior to arrival). This makes it convenient for you to arrive at any time after check-in time - so if you want to check in late or come a day early arriving late at night - you could just make first tracks in the morning.

Your hosts live at Silver Star, so we can ensure your holiday is everything you expected. We are also available to provide you with our "insider" tips so that you will love Silver Star as much as we do.

Please note if you are wanting to book the weekly special it will auto-quote and you can go ahead and book. If you are looking for our mid-week - Arrive Sunday and stay 5 nights/pay for 4 nights special, please send us a booking inquiry so we can manually discount the quote, prior to your booking.
