Ski-in, Ski-Out Silver Star Unit on the Knoll

This is the lower floor stratum of a house (built in 2005) on 'The Knoll' at Silver Star Mountain Resort. There is convenient ski-in, ski out access to nordic and alpine skiing via the 'Night Loop' that passes immediately behind the house. This 2 bedroom unit has a mixture of carpet, tile (with some heated floors), and linoleum. Cozy up in front of the natural gas fireplace after a great day of skiing. A private hot tub and BBQ are on the covered deck. All new furniture is present, including leather sofas. Come and unwind, losing yourself in this winter wonderland (with good times to be had in the summer too).

Great location and very well set up place. Kitchen was well stocked with spices, condiments and coffee etc. All the cooking implements you could need. Jason was awesome- we had a few glitches (internet went down in the area) and he came to the rescue so we could work online. Super comfy beds too.

Silverstar family ski vacation

This was a perfect spot for our family of four to stay. Being right on a trail to the resort, we could ski to and from the place. The apres ski hot tub was perfect!

Great spot for a ski trip with friends

Great spot. Location was ideal, right on the hill with a short walk to the top of silver wood ski lift, with access to the rest of the mountain. Would stay again and would recommend.

Great place

Good for small group of adults, or large family with small kids. Great hot tub, view, hill access (small steep slope to the hill, easily traversed). Looking forward to another stay next year.

Great Stay in Silverstar

The location and space of the apartment was first class, Ski in and Ski out was easy. short walk to the village.Facilities were everything that you needed, spacious well equipped, hot tub was great.Would recommend for couples and and young families.Host was great to deal with and very accommodating for our needs.

Ski Trip 2025

The place is roomy and clean. The communication with the host was easy. The place had everything we needed. Hot tub was a great way to relax after skiing. Location was great for skiing and short walk into the village.

Christmas get away

Great location for nordic and alpine, well stocked kitchen, very clean, host was very attentive.It is a lower unit, so some noise from above unit at times, but overall pleasant and quiet. Decor is a bit dated.

Great ski in ski out

We had a comfortable stay with 5 adults in our family. The home was warm and well equipped. Skiing out was a short walk up a rise/track to the top of the Silverwoods chair and we ski-in was down the same track after coming off the chair. It was convenient to the village as well. Nice private home and private spa which we enjoyed looking out over trees. rise

Great location

We were hoping to go with our teenager however we ended up going as a couple. Beautiful spot right on the hill. It was very easy to connect with the owner as well.

Great ski in/ski out location

This place was great. The location was close to the village (5 min walk) and chair lifts. We didn’t have to drive our veg anywhere the entire 5 night we were there. We will be booking our 2024 vacation soon.

Balcony bliss

The balcony with the hot tub is a 10/10 situation, as is the washing machine and dryer (with young kids, an actual dream!). Host left lots of essentials, which was great to get started and we replaced what we used. With more snow I can see access to the gondola would be better, we figured out a pathway through the trees to the skiway but it wasn't without challenges (again, more snow would help!). Bathrooms were great, beds are getting a bit old and squeaky (we ended up putting a mattress on the floor to help everyone sleep) and we were so lucky we had quiet upstairs neighbours for most of the stay. The three nights we had a large, louder crew up top were a bit rough, the plumbing is not quiet and the kids were woken up by flushing toilets during the night and dishwasher upstairs. In terms of dens, it was incredibly spacious and affordable and Jason was fabulous! The drying area is amazing and the seat at the front door is literal perfection for boots on and off! Thanks for a great stay!

Best VRBO

This place was the best VRBO we have stayed in. Clean, lots of windows, individual thermostats allow for good heat control. Seemed like a new carpet, it was clean! This place had the best stocked kitchen of any place! We cook all our food and there were lots of pots and pans and casserole dishes. There was plastic and foil and parchment! Lots of mugs and glasses. Appreciated that there was lots of leftover spices and sauces. Always handy. Our only issue is that the listing should say it is the B suite. We had ordered groceries and the person did not know where to deliver and got a little testy.....

Best family place

This unit is way bigger with higher ceilings then appears in the photos. It is well lit and comfortable with great sunrises. The kitchen is extremely well appointed with higher end utensils and cookware than any other place I have rented, with lots of serving ware and dining dishes. The host was super responsive and was able to lend me a small item I had forgotten for Nordic skiing. The location is beautiful- quiet street and in the trees, a magical view from the hot tub. You do have to walk about 30m up a small slope to ski out, unless you are young enough to drop through the tree trails. It’s totally worth it for the privacy though! The host provided all the linens we needed and having the washer and dryer meant we could carry less gear with us on the trip. Do beware of the parking- we got our large van out but having a smaller car/truck/4x4 would give a little more comfort. Highly recommend this rental and we hope to rent here again!

Fantastic early season xc ski getaway

Excellent accommodation with easy access to nordic trails and village. The snow cooperated this year and we had fantastic ski conditions all week. Great hot tub! Had some plumbing issues but Jason got them fixed quickly.

Great family vacation.

The property was clean and spacious. The hot tub was great and the kitchen was well stocked. The location is conveniently located on a ski way but you have to pole a bit to get to the lifts. All in all, We really enjoyed the stay and would recommend this property and Silverstar.

Great location

Place was amazing location, spacious and comfortable. Kitchen very well set up. Great for a family of 4 - however I think if you are trying to have beds for >4 people it would be tight.

The bunk bed situation was not great for the second couple - more suitable for a family with children. Plumbing noise from upstairs was audible in the bedrooms and was annoying. Otherwise, very clean, comfy and spacious; well supplied kitchen; good location 😊
