Overall this stay was worth the price, i got a discount through Vrbo and paid 4800 or 1600/month. It’s a basement unit in the middle of a block of townhouses: any delivery/uber/package will come to the front, essentially 1 block away from you. There was no vacuum/broom for cleaning and you have no control over the temperature in the unit. While landlord was very attentive and concerned about the temperature I was provided two “office desk” sized heaters and had to acquire a larger one just to be comfortable IN PEAK OF SUMMER. Unfortunately the circuit board is not equipped for all three units in the building to functioning at one time. This meant that only two or 3 plugs could be used with the space heater, meaning both myself and upstairs tenants flipped the circuit on multiple occasions, leaving me to have to switch very carefully between the two rooms in my unit. I was required to turn all appliances/lights/unplug devices when leaving the living room and move the heater to the bedroom if I wanted to sleep/shower etc. Depending on heater usage I also had issues showering while running the laundry. I have no complaints about the owner or her response to my needs, only that the unit is not set up for long-term living. Every appliance was brand new and function at peak efficiency, despite the issues with a power circuit. Location felt safe & walkable and very convenient for highway travel, with it’s own parking spot! Would stay again!
