This is it!!! There is so much fun to be had at this vacation home and its surrounding area. Visit in the Summer, Winter, Fall or Spring and find so much to do and so much beauty... The property consists of a four-bedroom, two bathroom, fully-furnished home. It is located on beautiful Intermediate Lake and has BOTH 100 ft of lakefront and BEACHFRONT. Also has a dock, kayaks, fire pit, fireplace, walk out basement, paddle boat and huge wrap around deck. The water is shallow and sandy close to shore making it perfect for families with small children or adults who like to tie their rafts to the dock and soak in the sun.

The home has a covered picnic table, a swing, and lots of tables and chairs. Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen that also includes a dishwasher. In addition to that you will find a laundry room, two bathrooms(one shower and one bath/shower combo, large living room, dining room and game room. Inside the game room you will find a fuze ball, direct tv, Wii and large flat screen tv. Also, don't 'sweat it' if you need to get out of the heat enjoy the air conditioning in one of the living/dining rooms and two upstairs bedrooms. The basement always stays cool... Between the four bedrooms, game room, and living room this vacation home can accommodate 16 (two kings, one toddler bed, two queens, one set of full bunk beds with trundle, two full beds, and one twin bed).

The location is prime as it is located in Central Lake, Michigan which is just minutes from Bellaire. It is close to several championship golf courses, skiing, restaurants, shopping, casinos, wineries, and several northern 'hot spots': ten minutes from Shanty Creek and Schuss Mountain, ten minutes from Torch Lake and Lake Michigan, 30 minutes from Charlevoix, 40 minutes from Traverse City and Boyne City, 40 minutes from Petoskey.

This house is available year round for all of your recreation activities: swimming, boating, fishing, ice fishing, water-sports, skiing, mushrooming, snowmobiling, golfing, hiking, hunting, fall color tours, etc. Across the street you will also find a track, football field, baseball diamond and tennis courts. Take your pick, lounge around and relax or keep busy with all of your options. With this home you get it all!

This is a very beautiful location with very nice private beach which all the kids in our family just loved. It was one of the most lovely areas we've ever stayed in as a family of 14. The property manager, Mandy, was very responsive with issues and questions. When a maintenance person was required, he arrived promptly and solved the problem.We were disappointed in the house as it has not been maintained and updated very well. One of the window ACs did not work. Screen doors were either out of the track or did not operate easily. We also had a backup in one of the bathrooms in the tub and the toilet did not flush. Fortunately these problems were resolved by the maintenance person.

Best lake house

This stay was perfect. The beach was better than we could have asked for. The kayaks, paddle boards and peddle boats made for many options on the water. Our family of 12 enjoys floating, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, volleyball, and so much more without leaving the property. The grill and blackstone made eating in easy.

Lake house experience

The sandy beach and lake were fun experience for our three grandchildren( ages 8, 6,4 ). This was important to us as grandparents.

Wonderful times!

Family vacation

This is property was great. It was supplied with all the extras you may need but forget to bring with you from bandaids to a full kitchen. We had plenty of space for 8 adults and 2 children. There was plenty to do from board games to kayaks. We had a wonderful time and made lots of memories!!

Fun Family Rental

This is the seventh cottage our family has rented on Intermediate Lake and it is now our favorite. Communication with the host/property manager was friendly and efficient. All of our questions were answered quickly. We were traveling with our 3 sons, their wives, and our 4 month old grandson. The 4 bedrooms gave each family space and privacy. The kitchen and 2 large family rooms gave us lots of spots to play games. The sandy beach, kayaks, paddle boards, and volleyball court were all a huge hit! Our kids played tennis across the street every morning. The next time we rent on Intermediate Lake, this will be the first property we try to book. Hopefully, the price won’t increase because it’s very expensive to rent for the week.

Great Family Getaway.

A great combination of lakeside and roominess. Location was a great central point to explore the area from and great to relax and recoup at afterward. All descriptions accurate.

Great lake week!

We travelled with three families including 5 young children. The outdoor space is awesome with the beach and use of paddleboards, kayaks, and docks. The lake was a great size. We were able to bring our boats without issue. We liked the black stone grill and outdoor seating. Property manager was easy to contact.

We loved it! The beach front to the lake is wide and a great place for kids to play. There are plenty of places within the property both inside and outside to be together as a group, or just by yourself. We loved the paddle boards and the kayaks that are provided. Also provided is a paddle boat.

Great Stay

Loved our stay at HiLo Shore! Everything we needed was there! Great access to the lake. Property managers were accessible & could not have been more accommodating. We look forward to renting the property again.

Worn out furnishings and minimal supplies

The beds - and furniture were worn and old. Everything about the furnishings were cheap and mismatched. Towels - sheets - blankets - cookware - knives - everything seemed to be well worn and cheep. There was no soap or shampoo - no laundry or dish soap. Given the price paid for a week stay, they need to out some money back into this house and upgrade the experience. The location was great. We loved the lake and Bellaire and Central Lake.

Great lake stay

Had ana amazing time! A ton of space and right on the water with beach! Perfect for getting a tan and clear water. Great for bigger groups and small towns around are perfect for getting out. The host was great for communication.

HIDDEN GEM

For a group of people around 6-10 people this place is amazing. If you and a group TRULY want to get AWAY I very highly recommend this place. The lake is gorgeous and the property is spacious, peaceful, fun, and comes with all the amenities of a perfect up north experience. The property owner was great with communication, very nice and accommodating. The blackstone grill was a great touch. We cooked on it every day. 10/10 dont miss this place.

Great Mini Vacay at Michigan

We made a right choice booking this home for our short mini vacay in Michigan. Mandy was very attentive with all our questions regarding the home and location. Home was clean and love the location of the home as well, we all enjoyed overlooking the lake and able to watch the kids the whole time while they play in the water , the kids enjoyed it as they can play the whole time on the sand and by the lake, we wished it was warmer when we went but it was good we still enjoyed it. Its equipped with all essential needs if needed although we brought our own already anyways, only downside was the washer wasnt working the weekend we stayed but it worked out well. We will for sure plan to come back there the next time we plan to go to michigan again, Thank you Mandy for a great short vacay for our family. Will for sure recommend this home to our friends and family.

Family Vacation

We had a large group, the house was very accommodating and there was plenty of parking. We enjoyed the beach and fishing off the dock. Location was great as well, not far to find things to do.

Great family vacation spot, cleanliness for arrival should have been better.

There were 9 adults and 9 kids. We all had places to sleep comfortably. The beach and deck were great to have as well as the dock for our boat rental. We loved our days on the water and relaxing in the sun. There was plenty of seating and games. Negatives- could tell the showers were not scrubbed very well to santize and clean, shower curtains were full of stains and not clean, all ceiling and box fans were full of dust, air conditioners smelled musty, trash cans were full when we arrived and only pick up is Thursday. We left Saturday and filled every one up so the next group will not have cans to use. Also walls were filthy in basement bedroom with twin bed on the wall. Appeared like a liquid or someone threw up and it was not cleaned well as it went all down the wall to the baseboard. I would have expected that to have been better especially since an additional two hours were added due to Covid and wanting extra time to clean and sanitize. All in all we enjoyed the location and space and would go back in hope the negatives were improved.

Relaxing week

Had an awesome week. Lake House was great with lots of room and everything you could want in a house. The beach was fantastic. We lounged in chairs with our legs in the water, and enjoyed seeing the duck families swimming up close. TC and Petoskey are just about an hour away, enough for a day trip and then back in time for the lake! Would recommend this house to anyone and would return, but book early. We saw that July 2021 is already booked!

Family get away

The place was enough for our family. The kids and adults really enjoyed the game room. Watching the sunset off the water roasting marshmallows with the family was fun. I love the open communications rapid response with the owner. She was available for any questions or concerns I had.
