Welcome to Altitude Adjustment, a charming 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin nestled in the heart of the mountains, offering the perfect escape with easy access to all the nearby small towns. Whether you're seeking outdoor adventures or simply want to relax, you’re just minutes from Harrah’s Casino, the Great Smoky Mountain Railway, Western Carolina University, Fontana Lake, Nantahala Outdoor Center, and the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway. The area is a paradise for hiking, tubing, rafting, and so much more.

Property Highlights:

Master Bedroom: Sleep soundly in a king-size bed with comfortable linens and plush pillows. The bedroom also features locking sliding barn doors for privacy, a large screen SMART TV with Blu-ray DVD player, and sliding glass doors that open to the front porch with fantastic views.
Living Room: The cozy living area offers a comfortable loveseat, a large screen SMART TV, and a DVD player. The queen-size Murphy bed (with a real mattress—no uncomfortable bars) provides additional sleeping space, with linens provided. Sliding glass doors lead to the porch, and the electric fireplace adds warmth and ambiance (for atmosphere rather than primary heating).
Bathroom: The full bathroom includes a shower/tub combination, with fresh towels and washcloths provided.
Fully Equipped Kitchen: Cook up your favorite meals in the fully stocked kitchen, which includes a stove, fridge, ice maker, microwave, and all the utensils, plates, glasses, and cookware you’ll need. For your morning coffee, choose between the Keurig or the standard drip coffee pot. There’s also a toaster and an iced tea maker, plus a small dining table and full-size washer and dryer for your convenience.
Outdoor Amenities:

Relax and unwind on the porch with a 4-person hot tub, complete with robes and slippers for your comfort.
Enjoy the stunning views from the outdoor patio table, which seats 4, and fire up the propane gas grill for outdoor cooking.
Gather around the firepit with 4 additional chairs—perfect for stargazing and cozy evenings by the fire. (Please note: firewood is not provided but is available locally at nearby gas stations.)

A cabin-themed décor throughout, with unique touches designed to make you feel right at home.
The property will be decorated for Christmas in mid-to-late November, adding a festive touch to your stay!

We do require a Renter Agreement to be signed and completed before check in. You will not receive check in instructions until it is received.
$250.00 Security deposit to be held on customers credit card 3 days before check in. You will receive an external link through your booking platform to set this up.
This is similiar to what happens when you check into a hotel.
This is a HOLD and NOT a charge. You will only be charged if you damage the property or smoke in the home.

Before you pack up and head to the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!
Dillsboro NC elevation starts at 1,975 feet. Think of this as your starting point. If you want to get a beautiful mountain view, you've gotta climb some mountains. Mountain roads are typically gravel, steeper, narrower and curvier than you may be use to driving. This is all part of our charm.
We do have one big hill to get up. It is gravel. We regularly drive a Hyundai Sonata up. While AWD vehicles make everything easier they are not required. Turn off traction control, Maintain an even speed (10mph) going up and do not stop. You should have no issues.

Items NOT provided: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap, items of a personal nature. We do supply hand soap, dish soap, and starter laundry items. We also provide basic pantry items and a few K cups to get you started.


****Please note this is a SMOKE FREE property. This includes Vapes. Ashtrays are provided outside on the porch. If the home smells of smoke, you may lose part/all of your damage deposit for additional cleaning & odor removal.***

*****This is a DOG friendly property, however we ask that you bring a kennel for your pet if you plan on leaving him/her alone at the house. We do charge a $45 non refundable fee for bringing your dog. If you are bringing your dog YOU MUST select the pet option at checkout.
