Beautiful Townhome on Dinosaur Mountain Golf Course!!!

TownHome located at the base of Dinosaur Mountain, just east of Mesa in Gold Canyon AZ, is a great place for a golf getaway or a family vacation. Beautiful panoramic views of the superstition mountains are just out the front door.
Located in a quiet gated community away from the busy cities and traffic, this one story ground level home is situated just off the 5th green of Sidewinder Golf Course, one of the two Gold Canyon Resort Courses. It is approximately 25 minutes from Mesa Gateway Airport and 45 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.
This vacation home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The floor plan is open and very spacious feeling with 11 foot ceilings. It has a master suite with a king bed, double vanities, soaking tub, and walk in shower. There are also two guest bedrooms with queen beds. The back patio faces out to the golf course. Some of the amenities include: free cable TV and wifi internet; gas grill and patio furniture to enjoy meals outside; fully equipped kitchen; dining area; laundry room; 2 car garage. Bath and pool towels and linens are all provided.
While youā€™re here, enjoy the heated community pool and spa, community clubhouse, and fitness room located within a very short walking distance of the home.
Local shops including a grocery store, drug store, restaurants and coffee shops are less than 5 minutes away. Major shopping is only 15 minutes away in mesa. Medical facilities are less than 10 minutes away. Phoenix, Mesa, Scottsdale and Tempe are all less than 45 minutes from Gold Canyon, making it a great oasis from which to enjoy the greater Phoenix area.
Gold Canyon is the home of the #1 rated public golf course in Arizona, Dinosaur Mountain. There are numerous other local golf courses to challenge you as well and plenty of family activities nearby. When youā€™re not on the golf course or relaxing at the pool, enjoy great hiking trails in the adjacent superstition mountain wilderness area, 4 wheeling, or any number of outdoor activities.

Wonderful stay in the desert!!

My girlfriends and I stayed at this townhouse for 2 weeks in March/April and it was amazing! This townhouse has all of the necessities for an "at home" feel and then some! We stay at this townhouse several times a year and each time it does not disappoint! I strongly recommend this townhouse for your stay while in the Gold Canyon area!

A great place to stay!

My husband and I enjoyed four wonderful days at this truly lovely town home. We felt so at home and comfortable during our whole stay. No matter what we needed, Pat and Kara had seemed to anticipate our every need. The kitchen was fully equipped down to the pot holders and everything was clean and smelled fresh. We can't wait to go back next year for a much longer stay!

Our stay at Ryan and Karaā€™s home was wonderful. The spaces were well appointed and contained everything we needed. Area golf opportunities are numerous and spectacular and the community features (pool, fitness, walking trails, etc ) numerous and close by. Thanks again for a wonderful sunny getaway.

Gold Canyon get away

We had a great time in the great location of Gold Canyon. We played golf and used the exercise room daily. The townhome was very relaxing, well equipped and the most communicative host we have ever encountered. Some mornings and afternoons were spent on the patio watching golfers putt out the 5th hole of the golf course. Terrific fun all around!

Gold Canyon trip

I stayed at this Gold Canyon VRBO for 4 days in October, 2012. I LOVED it! Pat and Kara were great to work with and made sure everything was great. The furnishings make the town home feel warm and welcoming. I definitely plan to visit again and stay in this rental! Gorgeous Area!

Our month (Feb, 2024) stay at Kara and Pats townhouse was absolutely wonderful!! Everything that they have described in their explanation of this property is accurateā€¦..you will thoroughly enjoy this property from sunrise to sunset and more! Gold Canyon is a gorgeous community outside Phoenix with all of the amenities you need. Everyone in this gated community is very friendly willing to help you out with information about the facilities and surrounding area We would like to thank Kara and Pats quick responses to our texts to them when we had a question about anything! Wonderful, wonderful experience!

Amazing!

This place is all that and more! Amazing place with huge high ceilings...approx 14 foot, very clean and updated...Fabulous place. Great communication with Pat the owner...quick response to email. The pool and hot tub area is quiet and private. Can't say enough...about 35 minutes from Mesa...great for Spring Training! Everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. Nice patio area overlooking the golf course. Greeted in the mornings by hummingbirds on the patio. Great views of Superstition Mountain. Grocery store and Walgreens nearby! Thank you!!

Girls Getaway!

I just returned home from a 10 day stay at Pat and Kara's amazing townhome! I went there to relax, shop and spend some time with my best friend. It offered everything we needed to feel at home. It has all the amenities and is very warm and welcoming. We had a great time! We spent several mornings at the pool. The temperature was just right! We took advantage of the option to rent their golf cart and used it to go to and from the pool and also to the country club!! The townhome is right on a beautiful golf course with easy access to many shopping opportunities, a grocery store and restaurants. So no matter what your reason to be in Gold Canyon is, this is a top notch VRBO! I will definitely be returning to their townhome! I give it a 5 star rating!

A True Gem in Magnificent Gold Canyon

Pat and Kara are fantastic hosts, they are easy to work with and quickly responded to our questions. Their townhome was clean, beautiful, and comfortable. It is well taken care of and it really did feel like home away from home. The townhome is large and spacious with an open floorplan. The main living area is roomy and open, yet each living area is defined. The well equipped kitchen has an incredible amount of counter space it was a pleasure preparing meals. The desk and monitor in the primary bedroom was a definite bonus. The patio is a private sanctuary of sun and gorgeous views of the golf course and wildlife, including deer, cardinals, hummingbirds, flickers, roadrunners, doves, lizards, bunnies, coyotes and bobcats. The community is beautifully landscaped and maintained. The small gym had everything we need and rarely had more that two people at a time. We were sad to leave!

Gold Canyon Delight

We loved everything about this townhome in a gated community overlooking the 5th hole of Sidewinder Golf Course. It is beautifully furnished and a home-away-from-home. The bed and linens were first class. You are literally tucked into the mountains and the sunset walks were a photographerā€™s delight. We used the shaded terrace daily and the gas grill several times to host family dinners. The hot tub, pool and work out center are a short two blocks away. A quiet neighborhood chock full of wild life, hummingbirds, quail, a 10-point buck, and coyotes! Exceeded our expectations, especially for the price, and owner was very responsive to our needs. We loved this Gold Canyon delight!

Gold Canyon Fun

We had a wonderful time staying at the Ryan's beautiful townhouse in Gold Canyon, AZ. We felt welcome from the minute we walked in the door and so appreciated their trust and confidence that they share all their amenities with VRBO guests. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, spices, cooking utentsils, etc. The bed was very comfortable and the entire home was spotless! Gold Canyon is a beautiful part of the Phoenix area and we would definitely stay there again. Just be aware that while there is a grocery store, Walgreen's, and a few restaurants nearby, it is about a 15 minute drive into the greater Phoenix area. We loved the peace of quiet of Gold Canyon but if you want the city life do not stay there. Can't wait for our return visit next year!!

Beautiful area

Wonderful area but just a hop skip and jump to restaurants and shopping. We loved the mountains and lots of outdoor activities. Enjoyed the pool, hot tub and gym. The boys loved the golf tried several courses in the area. Definitely want to come back next year. We had family in Apatche Junction so we were really close to them.

Awesome Experience

Pat and Kara's condo is exactly as described in their overview. It has new furnishings and backs onto the fifth green of the Sidewinder course at Golf Canyon Golf Resort. The condo is extremely clean and beautiful. We cooked our meals due to the concerns of the Corona Virus and the kitchen was supplied with everything you need to cook. The grocery store is a short car drive away and alcohol is also sold there. The two golf courses at Golf Canyon offer amazing views and are highly recommended. Our favourite course was the Dinosaur Mountain and you would be hard-pressed to find a better course in Arizona. The community pool and fitness center are a short walk from the condo and are excellent and the views of the mountains as you leave the condo are fantastic. I highly recommend Pat and Kara's condo if you are looking for an enjoyable trip near Gold Canyon Mountain.

Beautiful place in a great area.

We very much enjoyed their town home. The place was spotless and everything you needed was here. There is a nice grocery store within 15 minutes and golf courses everywhere. Several restaurants are in the area , but our most enjoyable evening were on the patio grilling steaks for friends. This is a spacious place with 3 bedrooms and a very comfortable kitchen, Threre is a learning curve with the keys and gate fob and all that but it wasn't a problem at all once I figured out the routine. Pat was always just an Email away. We had morning walks around the area and everyone was pleasant and open. I drove daily to Mesa to see my grandkids and the 30 minute drive wasn't a problem at all. All in all a very pleasant experience for our first VRBO .

Great quality home away from home

Beatutiful home in a peaceful location of Gold Canyon The home is tastefully decorated, clean and has all the essentials you'd ever need plus some. The owners were very accomodating and it's obvious that they care about thier home and that your stay is comfortable. Highly recommended and I plan to be back when next visiting AZ.

We are from Montana and we love to be warm when its cold and we both love to golf. So when the weather turns cold and the snow starts to fly, we head south for some fun in the sun.

We searched high and low in the Phoenix area for a property and nothing seemed to get our attention until by chance found the Gold Canyon area. This property is located on the Sidewinder Golf Course and is a short distance away from several others. It offers fantastic views of Dinosaur Mountain and the Superstition Mountains. It is very quiet and peaceful. The wildlife is abundant. You can sit on the patio and watch the golfers by day or stars by night.
