The Lake Lure area is moving forward with a clear path toward renewal and reopening. The Town of Lake Lure has announced an official target date to fully reopen the lake for the 2026 summer season, beginning May 1, 2026, and restoration efforts are actively underway with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers following Hurricane Helene in October 2024.

Until then, the magic of Lake Lure extends far beyond the water. Guests continue to enjoy breathtaking mountain views, charming local restaurants, award-winning vineyards, scenic hiking trails, championship golf at Rumbling Bald, and the world-class Tryon Equestrian Center—just 25 minutes away.

Fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a drip coffee maker, blender, toaster oven, microwave, mixer, and pantry essentials. Dining area with seating for 6 at the main table and an additional drop-leaf table for 4; Two bedrooms: Bedroom 1: Queen bed, Bedroom 2: King bed, Full bathroom with a tub/shower, Large deck with dining table, rockers, and gas grill (propane provided)

Upper Level: Primary bedroom: King bed, ensuite bath with a walk-in shower. Loft area: Futon for additional sleeping space (can be separated from bedroom for privacy)

Early Check-In and/or Late Check-Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If possible, an additional fee may apply, determined based on the time you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.

Pets: Many of our guests have allergies, so we have maintained a pet-free environment so they can enjoy their vacation without the potential of an allergic reaction. If you have a pet, we are happy to recommend some alternatives nearby.

Last Minute Bookings: Reservations made within 7 days of check-in require additional verification, including selfie/photo of government-issued ID matching the reservation name, and photo of payment method in the primary guest's name. Failure to complete verification may result in cancellation.
