This Greenslake cottage is truly the perfect escape! Lots of natural lighting inside, while the lagoon view begets a tranquil getaway. The stylish “eat-in” kitchen and has a clean, crisp open-plan design, perfect for family gathering. Separate dining area for 4. Tastefully decorated throughout and very comfortable.

Bedroom 1: King Bed, bathroom ensuite with walk in shower, TV.
Bedroom 2: Two Twin Beds, bathroom ensuite with bathtub-shower combination, TV.

The deck overlooking the lagoon has a grill to complete this inviting cottage. Be sure to enjoy your morning coffee, evening beverage, or a nice meal on the cozy screened porch while you gaze on beautiful lagoon backdrop. Free wifi.
Close to almost ground level, so fewer stairs to climb after a full day of beach and biking! Greenslake Cottages provide a larger floor plan than other 2 bedroom villas on the island, and are single story, so there are no units above or below them. Situated in a tucked away location in the West Beach Village, they are in close proximity to many of Kiawah’s most treasured sights and activities, including a short walk to the beach and access to the community pool (seasonal).

Great little cottage, excellent for a family vacation.

Very nice cottage with more than enough space for a family of four. We felt very welcomed, short bike ride to the beach and pool. Will be looking forward to come back.

The best stay!

We had the best time in this condo! Super clean and easy check in! The location to the community pool and beach was excellent! We enjoyed encountering all the wildlife along our way! We fell in love with this area and will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Great return to Kiawah

Our stay was great even before we arrived with prompt and thorough communication about everything we'd need to know and a welcome email! The cottage was in terrific condition and a great location for enjoying the island and close to nearby amenities and road to Charleston. Would definitely stay again.

Great cottage in West Beach

Very quiet and comfortable. Great location…short walk to beach and pool. Close to Freshfields 😎. Property manager was very helpful and responsive. Perfect for couples (and a couple of kids)!

Great Property & Host

The property is well located at West Beach and approximately a 3 minute bike ride from the beach and is adjacent to Cougar Point. The property is well maintained and decorated. Susie, the host is especially gracious and has excellent communication.

Cute little cottage. Conveniently located close to the beach. Lots of bike paths. Not too far from Charleston. Only drawback was the twin beds were very uncomfortable

The place was in the PERFECT location for the Kiawah Marathon. Walking distance to the starting line. The pictures and listing were spot on. The space was lovely and just right for the 4 of use. Would definitely recommend!

Quiet, great location

We really enjoyed this cottage. It was clean & the property manager replied quickly. The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes or 5 minutes by bike but we didn’t mind it. Highly recommend getting bikes to ride around town & travel down to see the dolphins. I would recommend this cottage to anyone who wants a cozy, quiet place to vacation.

Perfect for our young family!

The location was amazing and the cottage had everything we needed. We weren't able to find the iron but we got in contact with the property manager and had a brand new iron on the porch within a few hours. Looking forward to returning in the future!

Wonderful week on Kiawah

Overall we had a really fabulous week. Susie was great, so accommodating even before our arrival time with local information on bike rentals, stores etc. we loved the refreshing and beachy feel of the cottage. The walk to the beach and pool were both very reasonable and often we rode bikes which was even faster. As I stated before, overall it was a very relaxing genuinely great week on the island.

Comfortable villa

Clean and comfortable. Our first trip to Kiawah island. It was nice. Because we rented through this venue, there was no access to the fun pools the kids would have enjoyed. The bike paths are wonderful. There is shopping close, and the beach is beautiful and not crowded. Overall, I think it was relaxing and worth the cost.

What a wonderful week

My husband, 3-year-old daughter and I had a fantastic week at 1221 Greenslake. The bungalow is lovely with a well stocked kitchen and very comfortable living space. The location is terrific and we enjoyed long bike rides, swimming in the community pool and playing on the beach. Susie was great to work with and was very prepared and responsive. We hope to find ourselves back here next year.

Great Choice

The cottage is located in a gated community. It is well furnished and conveniently located. Kiawah Island is upscale, quiet and beautiful. We rented bikes from Alligator and rode along the beach (lots of pelicans and even a small herd of deer playing at the edge of the surf) and on many of the beautiful bike paths. There are several well known golf courses on the property and although we didn't play, they are beautiful to see. The manager of the property was very helpful in providing info about the island before we arrived.

Beatiful cottage with everything we needed!

Beautiful remodeled open main area, screened porch, gas grill and short bike ride to the beach - everything we wanted! Extra surprise - it was stocked with a spice rack (we used up Italian Seasoning, btw), dish soap and laundry detergent - very useful. We donated a nonstick skillet. Baking sheet is needed, but someone had left some disposable ones, so we were fine. Highlight of the trip - we finally got to see the dolphins strand feed (west end of island at low tide) - sooo cool!

Lovely beach cottage

Our family of 4 had a great stay in this recently renovated cottage. We loved the very large kitchen area that was sparkling clean and had all the amenities needed to prepare meals. The couches were comfy and the bedrooms were perfect for a family (king bed in the master and 2 twins for the kids). We love the location of the Greenslake Cottages -- they are close to the main gate & the Fresh Fields shopping area and are just a short walk away from the beach and the community pool. We would stay here again. This is our 2nd stay renting through Susie (manager) -- she is a find! Very attentive, gives you lots of info about the island & things to do, and really cares about making your stay the best it can be.

In 2007, a friend on nearby Seabrook Island asked me if I would help her rent her villa also. Since I loved helping people plan their vacations in the area, I obtained my South Carolina Property Manager's License and began a business - Kiawah By Owner.
