Welcome to Enchantment on the River, A one-of-a-Kind R I V E R F R O N T retreat for large groups, accommodating up to 29 guests across two luxurious cabins: Paradise on the River and Heaven on the River. Together, these neighboring retreats offer 8 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 2 full kitchens, 2 hot tubs, 7 free kayaks, 2 pool tables and a shuffle board in multiple game areas, and exclusive access to your very own private island on the river below!

Nestled high on a scenic bluff overlooking the pristine Upper Mountain Fork River, Enchantment on the River is the ultimate getaway! This extraordinary property spans 18 private acres, bordering a national forest, providing both seclusion and easy access to adventure. Whether you're planning a multi-family vacation, a reunion, or a corporate retreat, Enchantment on the River offers the perfect blend of togetherness and personal space—two beautifully designed cabins, side by side, so everyone can be together while still having their own retreat.

- Kayaking & River Access: While the cabins sit high on the bluff, river access is just a short 5-minute walk down the road, where your complimentary kayaks are stored for easy launching.

- Expansive Outdoor Spaces: Two hot tubs, multiple decks with stunning river views, a shuffleboard table, a pool table, an outdoor TV, two gas grills, fire pits, and plenty of space for yard games and relaxation under the stars.

Step inside Paradise on the River and be welcomed by rustic elegance and modern comfort. Cozy up by the gas fireplace, enjoy Smart TVs throughout, or play a game of pool in the upstairs loft. Head into the fully stocked kitchen with everything needed to pull your meals together, including both a drip coffee maker and K-cup machine then head out to one of the patios for beautiful vista views with the Upper Mountain Fork flowing right below you. Upstairs you'll find an expansive game room with comfortable seating in front of a large screen TV, a full size pool table, and french doors leading out to a covered patio with river views and a table that transitions to a shuffleboard table.

See if you can find the secret bunk room! A hidden door leads to a fun bunk room that kids (and adults) will love!

Located just 50 yards away, Heaven on the River offers even more space for your group to spread out while enjoying shared amenities. The cabin's back covered patio overlooks the river, providing a stunning setting for morning coffee or evening cocktails. while a cozy gas fireplace sits inside the grand living room with a large Smart TV for movie nights, a mini-pool table in the loft, and a fully stocked kitchen with ample prep space.

2 miles from the Talimena National Scenic Byway – A must-see for breathtaking views, especially during fall foliage season.

Guest Notes & Added Services:
p e t s : There is a flat fee of $50/night *per cabin that brings pets.* Pet limit is 3 per cabin. Please reach out to us if you have a special request. 
e a r l y  / l a t e: We may be able to offer early check-in or late check-out (2 additional hours) for $50 unless there is another reservation within 24 hours of your reservation. This must be requested and approved by your SkyRun host! We compensate our team additional funds for accommodating guest requests and coordinating their daily schedules and/or working after hours to help make this happen for our valued guests. Fee is collected after the reservation confirmation has been sent. 
f i r e w o o d : You can opt for bundles of firewood to be delivered to your cabin for your stay. 6-8 pieces (depending on size) for $20. Fee is collected after the reservation confirmation has been sent. 
F i r e p l a c e s : Fireplaces are free to be enjoyed seasonally October 1st through April 30th. You are welcome to use the outdoor wood burning fire pit year round! No cooking or roasting marshmallows in any fireplaces, but please roast away on those wood burning fire pits! Tampering or turning on fireplaces outside of the seasonal window will result in fines.
WIFI AVAILABILITY: Wi-Fi is provided as a complimentary convenience for our guest; however, it is not considered an essential part of the rental. Refunds will not be issued for Wi-Fi-related issues including connectivity, speed, local outages, or accessibility.
