Relax & Unwind at "The Hangout": Private Basement Apartment in South Springfield

Hi, we are Clint and Emily. We both grew up here in the Ozarks and love everything about living in the town of Springfield!

We enjoy meeting new people and learning about other families and cultures. We became VRBO hosts because we want to share a piece of our life with others.

Relax and "hang out" in our comfortable 1-bedroom 1 bathroom basement apartment with private keyless entrance. Located just minutes from Cox South Hospital and tons of great shopping and dining, we hope this space is both inviting and comforable.

Also situated close to Highway 65, a quick jump in the car will take you to Branson within about 40 minutes.

If you like to get out and about, there will never be shortage of things to do when you stay here. If you love to stay in and relax, our set-up is perfect for that too!

The Space:

This is VRBO property is a downstairs basement apartment with separate living quarters from the rest of the main house. My husband Clint and I are empty-nesters and live in the house with our two cats Holly and Ralphie and our dog Penny.

Guests have their own private entrance and private bath, WIFI, and kitchen with everything they need to feel at home. There is a microwave, full-sized fridge and freezer, stove top, oven, and Keurig coffee maker. The living room has a large screen smart LED TV and streams all of your favorite shows. The bedroom features a king-sized memory foam mattress with luxury hotel bedding, large screen LED TV, and wonderful black-out curtains for a deep and restful night's sleep.

Clint and I live above the basement apartment with our elderly medium-sized dog, Penny and two cats. We are not loud people but remember, the basement is not soundproof and you will hear us walking and the dog occasionally barking or walking around as well. We will do our best to not create any extra loud noises - especially at night. Also, because it is a basement apartment, it does stay cool. The thermostat is upstairs in our living space but we are happy to adjust it if need be. We keep a high power space heater in the basement too in case you are chilly.

You have free range of the apartment and the back yard surrounding the apartment porch. This includes an outdoor seating area with a propane outdoor fire pit. Please dispose of all trash appropriately. If you choose to use the grill, please make sure to turn off the gas when finished and clean up after each use.
