Summary:

This spacious Tahoe Vista home is located in the heart of Tahoe's northern shore. Guests can experience a peek of lovely Lake Tahoe from the back deck, and with a cozy interior design, the home is perfect for all travelers!



The Space:

The four bedroom, three bathroom home provides comfort and charm. Decorated in natural Tahoe aesthetic, with skis and snowshoes on the wall, chairs made from original wood, and a cozy living room with a fireplace, the home provides a truly authentic experience. Two bedrooms come equipped with king beds and the guest bedroom has a comfortable queen. The second guest bedroom has bunk beds for kids in addition to a king bed.



The home resides just 2 miles from the bustling town of Kings Beach where guests can enjoy meals at lakeside restaurants such as Garwoods, cute coffee shops like Syds Cafe, and shopping at the Boatworks Shopping Mall.



In the summer months, guests are a few minutes from Moon Dunes Beach, five minutes from Kings Beach, and 20 minutes from Tahoes famous Sand Harbor. Travelers also reside just 15 minutes from Northstar Ski Resort where they can enjoy skiing, ice skating and more in the winter months.

Simply a cozy place with lots of gadget, god size kitchen, very clean bedrooms, close to downtown Kings Beach and a lot more. We enjoyed it very much and try to book again for this winter

Great home in a great location

Next to the beach, national parks, ski resorts and restaurants. Plus is very clean and quite. Highly recommend it!

Absolute perfection!!

We loved this house so much! It was perfect for our family gathering, with enough room for everyone to have space. The view is perfection, the beds so comfortable, and the location to multiple ski resorts cannot be beat. We had a family of 10- 6 adults and 4 kids. Thanks for a wondeful stay!

Great

first timers in Tahoe and have to say that this Cabin was great. from booking it to checking in and out the process was very easy. I did call property office number to ask a question or 2 and they were very helpful and did not hesitate to help. the house was comfortable for our party of 11 it was in a great location, there is a lot of near by restaurants a Safeway and very close to the lake. Will definitely book this cabin again.

Winter vacation

Nice place. Comfy for our family and friends. Just small complaints. Like no fire wood for fire place, we wished they shoveled more but impossible to keep up with snow this winter. A few left overs in house from last guest. But really no big deal. You will get to know the owners with there family portraits and of course it would not be Tahoe without bears scattered through the decor.

Great place for a family to stay.

My family and I had a great time at this location. Maybe could use another baby gate. We enjoyed the late nights by the fire and hanging out on the deck listening to music. Only thing I wish was better was the communication between propery management. When you call the number provided for this location the operator would not give a number to the local property manager. I wanted to ask direct questions to someone who works on the property rather then send pictures to explain what my issues or questions were to the operator. Great location and great cabin.

This is a very pleasant, spacious, well furnished home in a great location.

Just a few suggestions: o Drop the claim about walkable beach access in the rental information booklet -- it's bogus. The narrow path between the two chain-link fences is blocked on the street side by a locked gate, and the beach at the end of the path is private (per the property owners). o The booklet's info on using the TV should be clarified -- it's fragmentary and confusing. o Eliminate one of the two different wi-fi passwords listed in the rental information.

Not worth the price tag

Our stay was disappointing, the cabin wasn’t clean, it was over 90 degrees outside and with no AC it was almost 90 degrees inside. The advertisement for this property claim strategic views of the water, the only water you’ll have views of is if you fill up the dirty bathtub and look at it. To top it all off we payed good money to stay here and the property asks we start a load of towels before we check out and strip the bedding. We don’t mind doing chord at home but if we pay 100% of the money, we expect you to do 100% of the work.

Avoid during fire season. No A/C or Air Circulation.

This is a very nice rental, but it should be avoided during fire season (Aug to Oct). It does not have any air conditioning or air filtration system. This is not explicitly clear from the property description. We had to leave partway through our trip because the house was unlivable due to smoke and heat. The property management company will not assist with this issue or allow cancellation in the event of fires (and to be fair the contract says as much). Accordingly, do not take the risk of booking this property during late summer or fall. I’m sure it’s wonderful in winter.

Memorial Day weekend at Tahoe Vista

The cabin was very cute and cozy. My family and I enjoyed our stay but some of the family felt a bit uncomfortable with all the family pictures because they felt like we were invading someone’s home. We checked in Friday and left Monday morning and our family of 10 had a lot of trash. The booklet says to try and limit trash but it’s hard when trying to cook daily for that many people. I had to take some trash to try and avoid the additional fines and fees. I also found some trash bags in the patio from someone else’s stay which lets me know that the cleaning company missed it. We found a few dirty socks on the side of the couch and the grill was dirty from the previous guests. I don’t think this is the owners fault but it is the cleaning crews responsibility. In addition the booklet asks to run a wash for the towels, run the dishwasher and take out our own trash which I was not expecting to do. It made it a bit stressful for us all because we didn’t want to incur additional charges.

Great location

The house was perfect for our group of 8 family members. Beautiful setting. Nice walk down to the beach. Excellent kitchen for cooking. Plenty of utensils. All the beds were king or queen size.

Fantastic Cabin!

We all love the cabin! What a great location and excellent set up. The amount of family photos all over the place was a little bit odd... It was like a photographic journey where we got to grow up with the grandchildren. Really though, zero complaints. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

Beautiful home in a great location. This home has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Great open kitchen that has pretty much everything you need. Plenty of space for our family.

Great location! Very comfortable cabin. Lots of space. Deck was great.

Everything was great ! Lots of space for everyone. Some of the mattress were not that comfortable. Great kitchen and deck. Overall our stay was good.

Property amazing! Property managers, not so much

The property was great! Just as advertised. Clean and well equipped. Easy access to lots of things (walk to beach is a little bit of a stretch but we didn’t try it). Our only complaint was with the property managers. They were not easy to deal with. I called ahead and asked a few questions for packing for trip and upon arrival, none was true. Once we got there, called to tell them we think batteries dead in ac control panel and we were told no ac. Incorrect, we went out and bought new batteries and worked fine.

Great property

Great place for a large group. Lots of space and it was very comfortable. Great location as close to the beach and a wonderful large deck where we could have our family meals. one suggestion, It would be nice to have some larger salad and serving bowls, even plastic would be fine.

Great house and excellent location!

We enjoyed our stay at the house very much! House was spacious, clean and was in a great location. The reason for being a star short of perfection are below... 1. Have more pillows available, two per bed are mot enough. Or if you don’t want to provide extra pillows please state in amenities that you Only provide 2 per bed so your customers can bring extras if they feel they need more than one per person. 2. Provide more shower towels, two per bathroom are not enough at all, we looked everywhere for more without luck. 3. It would be a great added service if you could provide beach towels. 4. The kitchen needs to have containers to store left over food, there was only one small one Thanks!

Hi Fany, Thank you for your feedback about this home! Due to COVID procedures, we were unable to provide additional pillows on the beds. We provide 1 towel per person so that there are 10 towels for the maximum occupancy, a few extra towels just in case. With your feedback, we have added more items into the kitchen to ensure that the home is well stocked and comfortable for our guests. Nice cabin

The only problem was with communication with property management company. There was a new management company that took over before our stay and we had not been notified nor any of our questions had been responded too. All worked out and we had a nice stay.

Second stay

This was our second stay at this cabin. Very clean and spacious. and the beds are super comfortable. We love the location and the glimpses of the lake from the windows and deck are an added bonus. Our family has decided this will be our first choice for subsequent stays in Tahoe Vista.
