Apartment with the amazing view over the Old Town and Lokrum island

Situated in the peaceful residential area of the historic Old Town of Dubrovnik, apartment Monika offers amazing sea view over the town rooftops and famous Dubrovnik city walls. Spend relaxing afternoons on the large terrace equipped with comfortable outdoor furniture. Main street Stradun is two minutes away, and the property is situated only 5 minutes away from the sandy beach Banje. Buza beach bar is situated just in front of the building.
The apartment consists of comfortable living room with modern fully equipped kitchen and two spacious bedrooms equipped with two king size beds. There are two bathrooms and the apartment is fully air conditioned. Free Wi-Fi and cable TV are available. The apartment is located on the sea side, and is reached via small city streets. Be prepared for the many stairs that lead you from the main street Stradun (there are about 150 of them to be exact) to the terrace with a breathtaking view of the sea and the city walls.

The historic center is full of tourist attractions such as Rector's Palace, Onofrio’s Fountain and Orlando’s Column...Numerous picturesque bars and restaurants can be found within narrow streets of Dubrovnik.Pile Bus Stop is set 200 m away, Cable Car Srđ is also at a distance of 200 m. Public parking area is just outside the city walls. Dubrovnik Main Bus Station and Ferry Port are 4 km from the apartment.
Old Town is a great choice for travelers interested in architecture, food and history.

Mari and Marija were both terrific. Lots of great suggestions and the apartment was pretty much perfect for our family of four adults. Restaurant and shopping options were convenient and plentiful. All in all, a near-ideal rental!

Nice place to stay in Dubrovnik. Two bathrooms were nice to have, kitchen was functional and clean. The apartment itself was clean and orderly. The balcony was the main reason we stayed. That was comfortable but you are looking at people 10-20 yards away walking the walls all day, so privacy is limited. The view was great. You can see the tower and Lokrum island with a little bend of the body but still fun to see. This is a place which is up many different levels of stairs which Dubrovnik has many but also the building itself has 50plus steps. So, plan accordingly you are not going to go back and forth to the old city without a little effort. If you are in good shape no problem. The building itself is not well kept. The front door was always open and the staircase was not well kept but overall this is a really special place in a really special Old Town Dubrovnik. I recommend it for a unique experience

The apartment was better than expected. It was fully furnished w all we needed for breakfast and happy hour. We loved having a washer and drying rack. 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The patio has amazing views, awning and furniture for a much needed respite fr Dubrovnik’s hustle. The stairs to the unit are the only downside. Getting a porter to bring them would be worth it if you can find one (we didn’t!)

Fantastic apartment with a phenomenal view overlooking the Dubrovnik old town city walls out towards Lokum Island and the Adriatic Sea. Lots of stairs but so worth the journey! It's a fabulous space for two couples with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There's a nice big fridge, dishwasher, stove, microwave, coffee maker (with filters!) and a washing machine! There's a large outside deck with two big awnings. Just below the apartment is the Buza bar/beach for a great swim in the Adriatic Sea, which we did several times. We loved being right in heart of old town Dubrovnik. Our host Maro and assistant Maria were super responsive and extremely helpful during our stay. Maro lined up a private shuttle from the airport and porters that carried our bags up the city steps and up to our to floor apartment. So worth every penny! A first class experience and a trip to remember!

Great spot with beautiful views.Maro went out of his way to help us organize porters(well worth the money).Our flight was delayed so we arrived 6 hours later than expected. Maro had driver meet us at airport and porters there when we arrived.Very clean! Would stay here again

An amazing location and view - the terrace is a wonderful peaceful spot to watch the sun (and moon) set over the Adriatic, whilst still being right in the heart of the old town. The rest of the apartment is also very good, and as described - clean, comfortable, effective air conditioning. The wifi is a bit slow, so perhaps not for digital nomads; and the terrace would benefit from a table to eat at - but the seating is fine for drinks and breakfast, and I preferred to eat in one of the excellent restaurants a minute or two away anyway. The access situation is well described - you need to be comfortable with steps in the town, as well as the staircase to the top floor - but this is almost inevitable in the old town, and is the price to pay to look over the walls! Check-in and out was straightforward and friendly. The ideal place to stay in Dubrovnik.

Nice location and clean apartment. Excellent communication with owner. Noce terrace to sit on.Too many stairs for us to give five stars. Very difficult for luggage. No frills place.

Amazing location!!!!A lot of steps and slugging to get there but the stay is worth the work!!!Right down from Buža Bar and amazing sea views!!Evenings on the patio with cigars and whisky were exceptional!!!

Breathtaking in more ways than one.

This apartment was one of the finest accommodations I have ever rented on this platform. A lot of stairs, but worth the climb for the view of the Adriatic, the sunsets over the ocean with the wall of the old city made for a perfect setting If you do rent, pay particular attention to the comments and suggestions from Marija they will pay off.

Amazing condo on old town

The condo had an amazing view and was very close to the sights and restaurants of old town. It had two master bedrooms/bathrooms, perfect for two couples. Very nice and would stay again. Marija was a great help and organized transportation for us as well.

Can’t Beat The View

The apartment is on the top floor of a building at one of the highest points of the old town, looking southwest over the city Wall to the Adriatic Sea. The covered porch is just a beautiful place to hang out. Buza Bar is about 50 steps from the front door. We swam there every afternoon. We met the assistant, Marija, at the apartment. She welcomed us with her wonderful, zany humor. Marija efficiently gave us a tour of the modern apartment with excellent air conditioning, and informed us of what we needed to know. She also gave us a few recommendations on where to eat. The Bosnian cuisine at the nearby Taj Mahal was delicious. Communication with owners, Maro and Marija (there are 2 Marijas) was easy and they replied promptly to my questions. As other reviews have mentioned, there are a lot of steps to get to the apartment; 55, if I remember correctly. This after climbing up the street steps from wherever else we were. That said, we are in our 60’s with one of us having had recent knee surgery and another with leg and hip issues. Yet, we would all eagerly stay there again. We just love the apartment and its location!

Great Apartment but lots of stairs to get there

The apartment is great. Loved the view and being in the city walls. Plenty of room for two couples. Only thing to be aware of is the location is difficult to get to. It is in old town so there is no direct transportation to the apartment and it is about 150 stairs to the door to the apartment building from there you go up an additional 55 steps on a spiral staircase to get to the apartment.

Better than the photos

Wonderful apartment with the most beautiful views in the city. I previously stayed at the Hilton just outside the walls but preferred staying here because of the natural beauty, space, location, and price. We stayed 9 nights and love our time here. As someone who relies heavily on reviews, I thought it only fair to post support for this rental!

Best place on old town Dubrovnik

When we walked around the city wall, we did not see one other place that had a balcony looking south over the city wall with an unobstructed view to the Adriatic Sea. Also it is less than 5 minutes to walk to the main square, with its fresh market, grocery store and innumerable cafes and restaurants. The apartment is new, spacious and bright. Sure there are lots of stairs but unless you have a physical handicap it is just good exercise.

Wonderful Apartment

The apartment is exactly as advertised. The owner arranged for transport from airport and porters to carry bags which I would strongly encourage if a bit older like us. Highly recommend.

No better place to stay

This flat is perfect...furnished and equipped for a carefree stay. A wonderful host who is so responsive and can help you with seamless pick up and luggage portage through old city Also, as others have said, there are a sizeable number of stairs to contend with If you have accessibility issues with stairs this is not for you. But for everyone else, the view from the sizeable balcony is unmatched. First there is the sea and Lokrum island. Second, in front and below is some of the largest green space/garden in the old city. Third you can people watch the folks walking the city wall. We stayed 10 days and it has been the accomodation highlight of an extensive European trip. If you are going to Dubrovnik, this is the place to stay if you are lucky enough to find it available

The perfect penthouse!

This apartment with its view over the city walls and out to the sea is just amazing! Yes, there are 53 steps on a spiral stairway to reach it but it’s worth it. We were met upon arrival and guided around the apartment, Marija provided us with all the necessary information, like where to bring the trash etc. which was actually very easy to find and utilize. The apartment was very clean and well stocked with all the basics. The location made for the perfect escape from the crowds!

Amazing Property

Maro and Maria were on the spot from airport transfers and porters to questions on our stay. They were fantastic, dependable to work with, and made our trip effortless. The property was modern, very clean, and the location was exceptional! We spent hours on the porch. The views of the Sea and the City were beyond beautiful. It was nice getting a little exercise climbing steps to help wear off the fine dining and drinks all offered within walking distance. We would definitely come back here. Thank you Maro, you helped make this one of our best trips ever!
