Come to Lake Corpus Christi and enjoy this beautiful gated community home found nestled on a 5 acre lakefront property featuring it's own private pool, in-ground hot tub, and fishing pier.

Sleeping arrangements include: 3 king-sized beds, 1 Queen-sized bed, 3 queen-sized sofa sleepers, 4 twin beds, and a custom 4-bed kids bunk bedroom. Each of the 4 main rooms have a second smaller room attached with doors that can be closed for privacy, one with a queen sleeper sofa, two with two twin beds each, and one with the custom 4-bed kids bunk bedroom.

With plenty of room for fun and activity's inside and out, you'll find everything you need whether it's for a small reunion or for an incredible family get-away!

I've stayed at many VRBO's and this house is by far the best one I've stayed at. We brought a large group for our annual dove hunt with the kids and it far exceeded our expectations. It has plenty of room for parking and being able to enjoy the pool and hot tub after a long day was excellent. I would definitely book this place again!

We have stayed here 4 times and it never disappoints, any little issue we have ever had the owner is very responsive and quick to react. Highly recommend!

Stayed for a hunting trip

Property was very clean, well stocked and exactly as listed. Enjoyed the pool and the house was comfortable for our group of 12. Would definitely stay there again.

Awesome vacation house

Annual family vacation. Enough bedrooms/ beds for our family of 18. The pool and pool table were a hit with everyone. One plus for the house was the ice machine — it kept up with all our needs in this July heat.

We stayed here to be close to and visit family for Easter weekend. The place is huge and has plenty of space for everyone. I contacted the property manager weeks before to see if the lake had water due to drought in that area. Mind you the pictures still have water in the lake and the price depicts a lake front property IMO. The manager never got back to me with an answer so we never thought about it again. The lake is gone so don’t plan on “staying at the lake”. The pool area and overall stay was amazing. The listing needs to be updated. It’s a great home for kids and family and plenty amenities. Other than no lake everything was perfect.

Wonderful house with a beautiful pool. More than enough space to sleep, eat and play comfortably. We were sad to see the lake so shallow but only mother nature can take care of that.

Second time we’ve stayed.

Nice set up if you have 4 families. Great kitchen layout, plenty of restrooms. Kids enjoyed pool, we had board games going on the covered patio by the pool. Everyone enjoyed the pool table during the hottest part of the day. We saw turkeys and plenty of birds. Unfortunately, the lake was very low, had to go elsewhere to fish understandably.

The pictures are not at all representative of the actual property. There is no lake behind the swimming pool. When we turned on the water for the sink/shower/bath the entire house smelled of sewage. We will never stay here again and the pictures need to be updated instead of falsely advertising this place as a house on the lake. We planned and paid for our vacation to be in a house on the lake and instead we ended up in a house in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do other than swim in the pool and hope we didn’t contract some kind of disease from the plumbing system when we bathed. One star is still too high of a rating.

LOW LAKE LEVEL

Outside pictures need to be updated as the lake is extremely low!! I personally live on a constant level lake and would have NEVER paid this kind of money for these water conditions!! Fishing from the property is basically a no go unless u want to wade out into the water. I also would not recommend beaching your boat unless you own a flat bottom. Extremely shallow and marshy!! You can launch your boat at the state park, which is very close and has a nice ramp and fishing dock, but this too was scary as we are not familiar with this lake and there is lots of stumps showing at this time. With all that being said, the house is pretty private, the layout is great and there is plenty of parking. The pool, hot tub area and outdoor grilling area are great. There is a pellet grill and a small charcoal grill. There is a gas grill you may see in pictures but it is out of service. The reviews I read prior to booking stated there was an ANT issue but I figured this had been addressed. Not sure if action has been taken but there are plenty of ants on kitchen counters so don't leave your food out! Prior reviews also stated the kitchen was adequately stocked. I would say moderately stocked. We needed foil and a hand mixer and a ziplock baggy. Did not see any of these items but there is a SMALL HEB close by where you can purchase most any of your needs. There seemed to be plenty of dishes, pans, silverware and even paper products! Communication with the property manager was a tad slower than I am accustom to. I would recommend patio furniture on the back porch but there is plenty down by the pool. I would also recommend instructions or labeling of the lights and tv remotes, but we eventually figured out most of it.

Lake City Gem

This year was the third year we have utilized this property for our large family's Thanksgiving! It is a perfect house/property for our family's get-together. Communication with the owners is great. The property is clean and inviting. It has everything we need or needed to complete our Thanksgiving weekend! I give the property, the owner and the management of the property a solid "5"!! We will be back for year four next year!!!

Fantastic Place

The place was great! The photos don't do it justice! The kitchen is well stocked, and we were fighting over who got to cook on the stove and griddle :D There were plenty of plates for everyone, though the silverware was a little short (but we'd brought plastic). Plenty of room in the fridge, at least 4 towels in every bathroom (5 bathrooms), toilet paper was well stocked. The kids went fishing off the little dock and even caught catfish :D We all plan to stay again next summer.

Family Fun in 2021

The property was lovely. What a unique layout. Plenty of space for my three daughters and their families. The swimming pool was a giant hit - but we did have a little trouble getting the water features to work. It was also a little disappointing that the gas grill and pool lights (both very prominent in the website photos) didn’t work. But the smaller charcoal setup was a nice backup. I would suggest some written guidance in and around the house to help know how to turn on lights and pool features. But we were grateful for the homeowner’s assistance to get us on track. All in all - a great time at a beautiful location. Have already suggested it to other family members!!

Don't waste your time

Property location isn’t in the best area. Terrible road into property. Fishing was terrible. Lots of the amenities listed are broken. Hot tub leaks everywhere and isn’t actually hot because of that, pool lights broken, grill broken, water well broke and we were without water for the majority of one of our days, ants EVERYWHERE! They got all in our snacks and food. Found pieces of broken glass in the yard. Property seems poorly maintained and neglected. Do not recommend for the current listing price!! This is more of a camp style place vs a nice well taken care of property.

Honestly, I'm not sure where to start with this one but please heed our warning about this guest provided at the end. The Owner bent over backwards to cater to Shawn's every concern/complaint and even made multiple trips out to the property to try and appease the needs of "Shawn" and his group including reimbursing them on the spot for food that was "claimed" to have been ruined by an "Ant Invasion". When asked for evidence of the "Ant Invasion", Shawn send an image of an old greasy bag that had 3-4 ants on it and claimed they'd already killed the rest. They'd obviously over-extended themselves and It became very clear early on that Shawn had every intent from the time he booked the property to complain about anything and everything they came across to try and get a discounted rental rate. While the water did indeed go out during his stay, we received notice at 8:30am on Saturday and had a handy-man out to repair it within an hour and it was fully restored to proper working condition before 1pm the same day. Some things are simply out of the property owners control but when those things come up, the owner does everything he can to address & fix it as soon as physically possible. If you need further evidence/proof that this is a fraudulent review; we received a message (prior to Shawn posting this review) attempting to blackmail the owner into providing a MAJOR refund or he would leave a 1 star rating along with this bad review. If you are a VRBO property owner, do yourself a favor and DO NOT RENT to this blackmailing scam-artists. Shawn is NOT welcome back to this property.

Great family property!

This house was huge! The bedrooms were great for adults and very spacious. Only complaint was the pool lights were not working for our entire stay.

Thank you for the kind review. We always do our best to ensure our guests enjoy the property to the fullest.Unfortunately, a power surge knocked out the pool lights and we’ve had trouble getting our pool contractor out to repair them. We were told they’d be booked for a month out but we are doing everything we can to try and expedite the repairs. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Treasured family time

Our family was eager to travel some where close to our homes where we could make lasting memories. This property was perfect. It was spacious inside and out. Well kept grounds and home. The property manager was kind and responsive to questions. We enjoyed stay very Much and are grateful for owners being so considerate in their design of home for families.

Fun stay

Family enjoyed our time here. This is our second time staying here and we all enjoyed it once more. The house is well stocked with everything we needed. Love how private the location is. The hot tube was perfect given the weather was a bit chilly. Adults and kids enjoyed the pool table. Love the individual thermostats in each room. Will come back again.
