We really enjoyed our stay! Great communication with the host. The older home was decorated nicely with modern touches. It was clean and had everything we needed. Molly thought of all the details, including a nice coffee bar, water bottles and ice, and a well-stocked kitchen and bathroom. We were ahooy it was a pet friendly place as well.We were in the area to attend a concert in Johnstown, and it was just a 20 minute easy drive. Lots of great restaurant choices in Johnstown as well.

Molly’s place was beautifully well-appointed, with so many thoughtful touches that made the stay feel easy and comfortable. Everything was exactly as described, and it was clear a lot of care went into the space. Communication was excellent throughout, making for a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Windber weekend

Spent the weekend visiting family. Enjoyed staying in downtown Windber and walking to our favorite bars and restaurants. Property was in a perfect location on Somerset Ave. It was very clean, comfortable and quiet. We look forward to booking again in the future.

Molly was very descriptive and attentive when I had a minor snag. What a lovely home. I would definitely stay there again. The only negative experience was the neighbor across the street who was annoyed that I was parking where I was.

Cute Spot in Small Town

We had a "Girls Trip" weekend away and had a blast at this cute house! The porch was perfect for morning coffee and evening ice cream from down the street! The host was very helpful in suggesting things to do locally as we were afraid that out float trip at Coal Tubin in Johnstown may be cancelled due to elevated water levels. We had such a great time that we are planning to come back next summer!

There was no porch/outside light which felt unsafe! The kitchen was poorly equipped and was not conducive for cooking. The couch and beds were so uncomfortable. I will not be renting this house again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear that aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. Regarding the outdoor lighting, I understand how that could have felt inconvenient, and I appreciate you bringing it to my attention—I will consider adding additional lighting to ensure future guests feel completely comfortable arriving and departing after dark. I’m also sorry to hear that the kitchen didn’t feel adequately equipped for your needs. The home is stocked with a full-size refrigerator, oven and stove, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, cookware, sheet pans, a pizza pan, and common pantry essentials like spices, oil, and sugar. That said, I’m always happy to add or improve items when guests let me know what would be helpful. As for the furniture, comfort can vary from person to person, but I do appreciate the feedback and will take another look at the beds and sofa to see if any updates are needed. Thank you again for staying, and I truly wish your visit had been a better experience. Your comments help me continue improving the home for all future guests.

I'm born and raised in Windber, PA. I still reside right outside of town and serve our community as a nurse practitioner in obesity medicine and gastroenterology at our rural town hospital. I'm new to VRBO, but I've been a host on Airbnb for almost 2 years and I love providing a comfortable stay for guests traveling to the Windber/Johnstown area.

The location of this stay is right in the heart of downtown Windber, PA. My husband and I lived on the other side of the duplex until 2020 and we love the area!

It is a short walking distance to the local grocery store, dollar store, convenience store, gas station, restaurants and bars.

You will be just a 10 minute walk (1/2 mile) from Chan Soon Shiong Medical Center (Windber Hospital), 5-10 minute drive away from University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and shopping centers, about 15 minutes from John Murtha Johnstown-Cambria County Airport (JST), 15 minute drive from Conemaugh Memorial Hospital, about 15-20 minute drive from downtown Johnstown, and 30 minutes from Flight 93 National Memorial.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

This entirely newly renovated 3 bedroom duplex has 1 queen, 1 full, and 1 single bed. The place comfortably sleeps 5 adults, but there is also a queen size air mattress available with extra sheets and pillows for larger groups.

There is a brand new bathroom on the second floor and powder room on the first floor. You do not need to worry about bringing your own soaps, shampoos or lotions.

There is a dining space with seating for 6 and a fully stocked kitchen with oven/stove, full size refrigerator and a coffee bar. Don’t worry about bringing your own coffee condiments. We have choices to accommodate most coffee palates! When the weather permits you can enjoy your morning coffee on the furnished porch!

Cooking basics including oil and spices are available as well!

My place is pet friendly for well behaved pets and responsible pet owners! Guests with emotional support animals must pay the usual pet fee. The only exception is for service animals which should never be left in the property alone. Please kindly clean up after your pet or service animal.

There are 2 private parking spots in the back and free street parking available in the front of the house.

Access to the property is with keyless entry.
