Covered Bridge Cottage is the perfect private luxury rental for that couple or small family looking to get away. It is near several historic coverage bridges, a short drive to down-town historic Bedford, and Blue Knob Ski Resort. The cottage is nested right along Dunnings Creek which is perfect for the Kayak enthusiast. The cottage boasts a beautiful open floor plan with a full kitchen and all appliances which opens to a great room with a large flat screen and 2 couches for your comfort. A juke-box in the corner of the room for use is perfect for that romantic evening or fun night with guests. Off the great room and kitchen is the main bedroom with a queen size bed and flat screen tv. If you've enjoyed a full day touring historic bedford or kayaking to the Juniata, relax in the beautiful clawfoot tub. If you are just looking for an evening of relaxation, step out back onto the small private deck watch the beautiful sunset and wildlife on the Dunnings Creek.

The Covered Bridge Cottage was a lovely place to stay. We enjoyed both the comfortable coziness of the cottage and the beautiful backyard where we enjoyed a nightly firepit as well as fishing in the creek right off the property. It was exactly what we were looking for!

Property was even more gorgeous than the listing photos. If you are looking for a quiet retreat in nature this is perfect. Balconies off the front and back of home with amazing views. Our trip was short but we will definitely be booking again!

House by the covered bridge

Beautiful stay

We stayed over Thanksgiving. The location was centrally situated for my family events in Bedford and his family in Johnstown. The apartment is gorgeous and definitely spoiled us for our usual hotel stays. It was totally worth the holiday splurge.

Great home base!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, relaxing space. It was the perfect home base for trips to Shawnee State Park, fishing in Yellow Creek, walking around Bedford, and the covered bridge tour. Thank you for such a comfortable place for our much needed getaway!

Cottage at Reynoldsdale

This cottage is very nice and unique. From the clawfoot tub to the juke box and radiant heat for the floors, you can't help falling in love with the place. Plus the hosts Jamie and Gregg are the best who make sure you feel welcome. This is a ten star rental.

Home away from home!

My husband and I were looking for a nice place to stay while we helped our daughter move to Bedford. We were so delighted that this place was available and we were not disappointed. The cottage is perfect for two. We cannot say enough about how clean it was or how beautifully it was decorated. We had everything we needed including some much needed rest after watching our two grand-daughters all day. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home. We plan on returning soon.

Beautiful Place to Relax

Extremely clean, well-furnished. Beautiful property; we enjoyed the quiet and loved all the birds and the creek out back. It was nice to feel like we could be on vacation but still safe in the world with Covid. Although we didn't get to meet Jamie in person, she responded quickly to any questions and they are on the property if needed. We appreciated all the "extras" and obvious love they have put into the cottage. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we are ever back in this area!

Much more than a cottage!

I'm normally a rustic, bare minimum cabin guy. I saw the pictures of this cottage, and decided to treat myself to the amenities this cabin offered. Great decision! The cabin is tastefully decorated, and the amenities are modern, and state of the art. Provided such a warm and inviting atmosphere. I left feeling spoiled, and totally relaxed. Veiw of the creek from the elevated patio, is the perfect place, to relax and watch the sun drop behind the treeline! Perfect! Thank you for sharing your lovely cottage!

Tranquility & peace with all the comforts of home

My husband and I rented this little gem on a last minute getaway. The property was even better in person than the pictures showcased. The cottage is beautifully decorated, with a perfect blend of contemporary, farmhouse and eclectic styles. The property backs up to a lovely little creek and has a nice outdoor fire pit that the owners set up adirondack chairs for us. The owners were very responsive to any questions or things we asked for. You do need to drive to anything as far as groceries, dining, etc. But we knew that ahead of time and it wasn't a concern. We would definitely recommend this property to any couple looking to relax and unwind. The small town charm of Bedford will delight with its beautiful architecture. And don't miss out on the many covered bridges to toru in the area!

Excellent property for a couple

My wife and I spent three lovely nights at this property. It is clean, comfortable and well appointed with modern appliances.. Lots of quirky touches, like the Wurlitzer Juke Box. Hosts were helpful, but very respectful of our privacy.

Wonderful Owners, Amazing Decor and Location! Location! Location!

We have rented several places through the years and this by far was one of our favs! We were in the area for a local wedding and decided to spend a few extra days exploring the area. We saw the pics on the website of the property, however, it is more beautiful in person. The details of the property inside and the decor of modern and vintage were charming! The owners were so sweet and honestly, thought of everything! All we had to do is "bring our toothbrush"! LOL Altoona, Beford, Raystown Lake and many several PA State Parks were all close to the property. We explored the Horseshoe Curve and the Railroad Museum, a couple PA State Parks, local restaurants and cute stores too. The area is just so beautiful with the rolling hills and valleys. We would definitely stay there again! It's a perfect place for the 2 of us!
