We are Modern Midstay, a Denver hospitality company, that owns & operates 50+ furnished apartments in City Park, Cheesman Park, Cap Hill, and Wash Park.

We offer 1 to 12 month furnished rentals for travel nurses, relocations to/from Denver, remote workers, and others exploring the city for a few months.

The Space:
Unit #2 @ 540 E 1st Ave is a large, main floor 791 sqft 1BR with private entry from the front porch and backyard. Nice open concept kitchen with floating island. Use the dining room or the bedroom desk as a work from home office.

* 2 blocks to Cherry Creek Trail - bike or walk north to Downtown and east to Cherry Creek Shopping District
* Walk to three incredible restaurant areas - 2 blocks eash to Pennsylvania & Bayaud, 4 blocks east to Alameda, 5 blocks north to 6th Ave & Cap Hill, and 6 blocks west to Broadway.
* 7 blocks to Wash Park
* Great neighborhood coffee shop, Rosebud Cafe, on the other corner of the block
* Walk or short drive (7 blocks) to Trader Joes
* 10 minutes to downtown Denver, RiNo, and LoHi
* 25 minutes to Red Rocks. 1 hour 30 minutes to ski resorts

Guest Access:
PARKING: We’re a corner lot, so there is free street parking on 1st Ave out front and Pearl to the side. It’s a very quiet, safe, and family friendly residential neighborhood.

LAUNDRY: Laundry / mudroom is connected to this unit and shared with the basement unit, which has access from the backyard. We've listed it as in-unit, because it's this apartment's mudroom at the end of the hallway. There is a keycode door between the apartment and laundry room and the laundry room and backyard.

HEATING & COOLING: Host controls central heat from a single thermostat for this unit and the basement unit. Guests control window AC units and ceiling and tower fans.

Getting Around:
The property is an easy 30 to 40 minute Uber from the Denver International Airport. You're a 10-15 minute Uber ride to anywhere in the city. Check out rtd-denver.com or the RTD My Ride app for the bus and light rail routes and schedules.

Other Things to Note:

LEASE: Per Denver's leasing rules, we require a lease agreement that we'll e-sign with all guests upon booking to confirm your stay.

PET RENT: We are dog friendly, but have a strict no cats policy. Pet rent is $3/dog/night. Please add your dog to the reservation, so VRBO can collect the pet rent. Pet rent for second dog (if approved) will be collected separately.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS: We have a guest manager and a property manager who manage over 50 apartments and guests across central Denver. Our team is available business hours and outside them in case of an emergency.
