Kitchen isn't great; otherwise very nice

It's not much of a kitchen for cooking. Knives DESPERATELY need sharpening. The Black & Decker countertop cooker is NOT a slow cooker; would be good to label it as such. We asked for blankets but none were provided. There were two small throws only. One of them looked dirty. View from balcony is pleasant. There were plenty of toiletries- thanks for that! Pleasant complex in good location.

The condo was spotless, comfortably furnished, and well-equipped. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a hassle-free home base to experience Tucson area.

5-Star property

We arrived to find a very pleasant, bright condo with comfortable furniture and beds. Each of the bathrooms had complimentary shampoo, conditioner, lotion and soaps. In addition, there was clothes washing detergent, and dishwashing detergent. The kitchen had all necessary utensils, plus coffee for the coffee maker. There was lots of storage space available, including clothes hangers in the walk-in closets, and roomy dressers. Big-screen, HD TV had lots of channels, plus apps. Truly a first-class condo and property management, and well worth the cost. Close proximity to parks, golf and good restaurants was the cherry on top for our wonderful stay.

Lovely place to stay in NE Tucson

My family (me, spouse, 2 grown daughters) stayed at this property for a week recently. We were very happy with everything we found. The place was clean and well supplied. Toiletry kits, coffee for the coffee maker, towels, sheets, washing machine soap, dishwasher soap, etc. everything. Plenty of utensils and cooking items in the kitchen for us. The primary bed is new and we found it comfortable. The previous king bed in that room had been moved to the second bedroom and replaced the two twin beds that the listing showed. That wasn't a problem for us but if you are really expecting two twins in that room that is not what is there. Couches and chairs were all fine. Great Internet (Wi-Fi). We did not use any of the TVs or those services so I can't comment on that. Off the small back balcony we observed quail, chipmunks, hummingbirds and other birds, etc. It can get pretty hot in the afternoon sun, though, so for is it was mainly early morning or late evening. Check-in and check-out were very easy. Nearby grocery store, drugstore, restaurants, gas station, etc. all worked well for us. Really, other than the inaccuracy in the listing photos (king bed rather than two twins) we can't complain about anything and we agreed to give it 5 starts overall.

The Great, the Good and the Could Be Better

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For my husband and I, one of the best things about this unit is its proximity to the fitness center and grill. We used the fitness center almost daily and my husband grilled frequently. There were several deficiencies noted that management will presumably address to make the next renter’s stay more enjoyable. The kitchen is not a cooks kitchen in that cooking utensils were lacking (we left a metal spatula for grilling and another for flipping an egg). Jeanine @ Spectrum was extremely helpful when I realized I left a piece of luggage in the condo. She was kind enough to ship it back to Kansas City.

Great area of Tucson

The best feature of this condominium was the ravine that the balcony overlooks. It was full of desert life: a prairie dog colony, quail, a roadrunner, a coyote, a bobcat, jack rabbits, hummingbirds, red cardinals, "black cardinals."

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in this unit for the month of Feb. Location was wonderful. Proximity to Sabino Canyon allowed us to hike there almost every morning. Very nice nearby restaurants shops. Unit needs updating. Mattress in main bedroom very uncomfortable with a visible "hill" between the two sides. Uncomfortable to sit on couch for long periods of time due to the slope in the middle. Tabletops worn and scratched. Surface of bedside table in second bedroom bubbling and coming off. Corroded faucets and fixtures. Minimally furnished kitchen. Lacked basic things. Would definitely stay in the complex again but not in this unit.

The condo has everything we need to be here for 6 weeks to cook and be comfortable. It is located near some great walks and hiking trails. Spectrum Real Estate has been easy to work with and accommodating. Unfortunately the gym and pool are closed do to COVID-19 but both look very nice!

Fun in Tucson

I would definitely stay here again. The management company was responsive to my requests. The unit was quite comfortable although needs a bit of updating. Location is good for grocery shopping, Sabino Canyon, Mt. Lemmon, Tucson Botanical Gardens and other attractions.

Love the Greens - This Unit Needs Work

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent 3 weeks at the Greens during January 2020. The Greens has an ideal location, the appearance and layout of the entire complex is very appealing. Our 2 bedroom second floor unit had an excellent location and the layout of the condo is very functional. However, many areas of this condo were dated and extremely worn. The window blinds were very cheap, bent and wouldn't completely close, the dining room table wood surface was very worn, showing bare wood in several areas. Most of the electrical outlets were so worn the cord kept falling out of the receptacle. Possibly one of the most aggravating issues was the furnace. The outside temperatures were in the high 30's most nights and the unit had to run non-stop all night to keep the temperature at 67 degrees. We had set the thermostat at 70 degrees and it never achieved that. While we were satisfied with our stay, this unit needs work to keep it functional.
