Bright and nicely laid out, this remodeled 1-bedroom/ 1-bathroom bungalow is ideal for your Pasadena getaway. Less than two miles from Old Town Pasadena, the Rose Bowl, Brookside golf course, local boutiques, and eateries, you will be delighted with its location.
For those who enjoy a good hike, this unit is near some of the most beautiful hiking trails around. With the freeway only three minutes away, you can also get to Downtown Los Angeles in no time and enjoy Staples Center, Dodger Stadium, Universal Studios, or the famous Hollywood Blvd.

The Sycamore features a cozy living area with a sofa/futon, chair, Smart TV, ceiling fan, and a dining table to enjoy delicious meals or a good cup of coffee.

The functional kitchen, complete with a stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, and all the essential cookware and tableware, will make you feel right at home!

For your absolute comfort, the bedroom offers a peaceful decor, a queen-size bed, deluxe linens and pillows, a ceiling fan, and a mini-split.

The modern and bright bathroom, accessible via the bedroom, offers a tub/shower combination.

This home also has a private and fully-fenced patio area, outfitted with a table, chairs, and a BBQ grill. The ideal space to simply kick back, relax, and enjoy the outdoors.

BATHROOMS: There is 1 full bathroom in this home, accessible via the bedroom.

KITCHEN & DINING: The kitchen is outfitted with a full stove/oven and all your cookware. There is a traditional drip-style coffee pot, microwave, and toaster. Additionally, all your cutlery and tableware are stocked. Basic spices (sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil) are provided for your cooking needs.

PARKING: Free assigned driveway and paid overnight street parking. There is no garage access

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT: Check-in is any time after 4 PM and check-out is any time before 11 AM. Early check-in or late check-out time may be available, please inquire about pricing at the time of booking.

DISCLAIMER: NO events or gatherings, including bachelorette/bachelor parties, weddings, baby showers, or birthdays.
Dogs under 30LBS are welcome with an added pet fee. Please let us know the breed and weight when inquiring about a pet. THERE IS A $500 FINE FOR ANY PETS ON THE PROPERTY WITHOUT PRIOR WRITTEN PERMISSION.

Pasadena Apartment

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed for two months.This cozy 1 bedroom apartment was near Garfield Heights, which is known for its charming bungalows. And close to shopping/dining districts as well as the center of town and Colorado Boulevard. The unit was cozy — living room and table for two dining area all combined. But it was immaculate and a nice basket of goodies was there on my arrival. The kitchen was also immaculate and well appointed with a coffee maker and toaster, and also had a good assortment of pots and pans, cutlery, glasses and plates, utensils. But there were no placemats or dish towels or scissors, so I bought my own.My only real quibble was with the heating system. During my two-month stay, the temperatures were in the high 30s and low 40s at night. There was only one HVAC unit in the apartment and it was in the bedroom. So the kitchen and living room/dining room and bathroom would get quite cold. The ceiling fan in the bedroom helped push some heat into the other rooms.

Charming Bungalow!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful little bungalow in Pasadena with everything I needed for my stay. Full size stove for cooking, all the pots, pans and cooking utensils I needed to cook my meals at home. The bungalow is very close to Old Town and I found a great little bakery called Euro Pane I loved to go for a morning coffee. If you want a convenient, comfortable place to stay, this bungalow is a great choice. I highly recommend and hope to be back soon!

I truly loved my stay there. It is exactly as advertised. The location cannot be beat with regards to being close to everything in Pasadena. The bungalow is clean and well maintained. It was perfect for what I needed. The hosts were very attentive to anything I needed, and accommodated my continuous stay extensions due to my house not closing on time.

Wonderful Bungalow So Close to Old Town!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This little bungalow is a hidden gem in the city. One of four bungalows around a courtyard, it is quiet and comfortable. My first impression was appreciation for how clean and fresh the bungalow was, with a lovely gift basket full of goodies. A full kitchen, laundry, private outdoor seating area, good light and a strong wifi signal, I enjoyed my time in the Pasadena area. Great for a couple or family with a small kid, I was happy to have found this spot and will definitely stay again!

Quaint and clean home away from home!

We stayed in this cute little bungalow for two weeks while our house was being renovated. It was the perfect home away from home! The things I enjoyed most were: 1) Clean! Clean! Clean! The place was spotless and well appointed with everything you may need (soap, towels, etc). 2) Location! Was fabulous for us as we were trying to stay as local as possible as my kids still needed to get to school! The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. 3) Parking was super easy. There is a designated spot in the parking area next to the bungalow and plenty of street parking available as well. 4) Prompt and courteous communication with Kathleen & Kate. Check-in was very easy with a key code. 5) Private laundry room with full sized washer and dryer! I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Pasadena area! :-)

Wonderful Place to Stay!

I was inbetween houses and stayed for 28 nights. I brought a lot of stuff with me including 1/2 of my office! There was a place for everything. It is very clean and Kate was really great to work with. Also, close to so many things. I hightly recommend!

It was in a convenient location to all things Pasadena and as a single woman I felt safe there and appreciated the parking space. The manager was very attentive and gave excellent recommendations for local eateries. There was a bit of a learning curve with the television ( watched my iPad instead) and the air conditioning wall unit ( I’m not too mechanical!) but it all worked out.

Perfect place for our trip

Before arriving I was concerned the space might be too small, but it was perfect. I appreciated the attention to detail in each room. The location was perfect and we traveled on foot most places. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very pleased with our stay at the Sycamore. Kate made us feel so much at home by tending to every detail of our stay. The bungalow was warm, clean and inviting, and stocked with everything one would need. Beautiful, cheery paintings and bouquets made for a relaxing environment. And, most importantly, the bed was extremely comfortable. By car, every Pasadena site was a “stone’s throw” away, with Los Angeles easily accessible. We couldn't have asked for more.
