Casa Alto Morro is located inside a private nature reserve, among a handful of other beach villas. Our property is for those seeking peace, calm, tranquility, relaxation with nature away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Cartagena. Shopping, dining, groceries, live entertainment can be found just a 10-minute drive at Las Ramblas shopping center or 30-mins drive to the walled city of Cartagena.
Our property is surrounded by a beautiful forest providing you with calm and refreshing breeze. The seclusion from the city means total privacy from traffic, street vendors, nightclubs and the tourist scene.

The villa comes with a fully-equipped kitchen, a comfortable modern design and amenities including free WiFi as well as board and beach games. The main living area is a high-ceiling, open concept space for dining and relaxing with views of the infinity pool, covered terrace, gardens and the sea.

1st floor: Kitchen, Dining room, ½ Bathroom, Living room with Smart TV + Netflix and Prime (you’ll need your personal account), 1 Bedroom with 2 queen size beds, 1 Bedroom with 1 king size bed, Pool Terrace and Service area.

2nd floor: Primary Suite with king size bed, Living Area with Smart TV + Netflix and Prime (you’ll need your personal account), Private Covered Terrace with hammocks for you to relax and a separate balcony with pool views.

All bedrooms have private in-suite bathrooms, A/C and ceiling fans. We provide all linens, bath and beach towels during your stay.

Relax and chill on the terrace with nature and ocean views while enjoying a refreshing dip in the infinity pool or lounging on the deck. The back yard area offers an Argentinian-style BBQ grill and a wood-fire oven for making your favorite pizzas. And don’t forget the incredible outdoor shower.

We can refer you to a private car or secure taxi to help you get around Cartagena.

Please note there is a short section of unpaved road (1.5 miles/2.5 km) (currently under construction and renovation) leading up to the property from the small fishing village of Manzanillo del Mar. This section can at times be a bit rough, and difficult especially in the rainy season.

The villa is situated approximately 20 minutes north from the airport, 30 minutes from the walled city (downtown Cartagena), and 10 minutes away from the vibrant Las Ramblas shopping center that hosts a supermarket and various restaurants and shops.

THE SPACE:

1st Floor: Kitchen, dining area, half bathroom, living room with Smart TV, one bedroom with two queen size beds and a full bathroom, one bedroom with one king size bed and a full bathroom, pool, terrace, outdoor shower, grill and pizza oven.

2nd Floor: Master suite with king size bed, full bathroom, balcony, living area with Smart TV, private covered terrace with hammocks and a separate balcony with pool views.

All bedrooms have private in-suite bathrooms, A/C and ceiling fans. We provide all linens, bath and beach towels during your stay.

Relax on the backyard terrace with nature and ocean views while enjoying a refreshing dip in the infinity pool or lounging on the deck. The back yard area offers an Argentinian-style BBQ grill and a wood-fire oven for making your favorite pizzas. And don’t forget the incredible outdoor shower.

We can refer you to a trusted private car service to help you get around Cartagena. You can also look at getting a rental car. There are a handful of options at the airport.

Additionally, we can also refer you to an excellent private chef to cater to your culinary needs. (Please note this feature is a separate fee arrangement between guests and the chef and not included in the reservation.)

GUEST ACCESS: Private parking for up to two cars is available inside the property.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

As part of the five-star experience, Casa Alto Morro has live-in property managers/caretakers who reside in a separate building within the property. They maintain the villa clean and tidy and will be very happy to assist you during your stay.

Daily housekeeping and laundry services are available for a separate fee. All additional charges will be agreed upon in advance.

Friendly dogs and a cat live on the property. While we encourage guests to interact with them, please note they are strictly prohibited from entering the house, both for your safety and to prevent any potential damage.
