I fell in love with our Arizona home the minute I walked in the door! Our single level home is the perfect getaway, richly decorated but also extremely cozy and comfortable. All the comforts of home at your fingertips await your arrival. Each room has itā€™s own ceiling fan and high thread count linens. Everyone vacations differently and this home allows for that. Some folks like to kick back and watch movies (on our 65ā€ HDTV) some like quiet reading time. Otherā€™s like to hang in the pool (heat optional) or spa. Maybe you want some romantic time enjoying the outdoor fire under the cozy ramada. Our outdoor oasis is absolutely gorgeous at night with special lighting effects. Paradise! Want to sharpen your putting skills? This is the place with plenty of balls and putters. corn hole, beer pong, games, cards, poker chips & puzzles. We also have two bicycle beach cruisers for your use during your stay. Our lovely community offers many, many miles of meandering trails and tons of amenities. Our home is perfect for family reunions, families with children (pool is fenced and gated), golf groups and girls/guys getaways. Our kitchen is a delight with granite countertops, all utensils, dishes, glassware, cookware, many small appliances including a sous vide and an air fryer are supplied. Our home has a pack n' play for little ones. Gilbert is a wonderful family community, which is in close proximity to great golfing, shopping, major league team spring training and some great restaurants. Welcome to your home away from home!

Our family stayed at this home in order to be together to celebrate Christmas and New Years. The home was very spacious so we were not on top of each other. Having both a living room and a family room were ideal. The kitchen was large and incredibly well equipped with numerous serving platters and bowls. We loved spending time enjoying the outdoor fireplace. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and pleasant. The owners were delightful to deal with, so helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Perfect Getaway

Our family and friends who came along on our week long getaway had an amazing time at the property. We spent hours in the pool and spa. The outdoor fireplace was a perfect way to wind down at the end of the day. We loved everything about the property and wish we could have stayed longer! I would definitely recommend this property to everyone. Dave and Sue are great owners, and awesome work with. We definitely canā€™t wait until we can go back.

5 stars in every respect

We had an amazing Christmas break here with our three kids and extended family, and we really didn't want to leave! Having used VRBO many times over the years, including other homes in Southern AZ, this property is hands-down the most luxurious and best-equipped that we have ever rented. The house itself was immaculate and very comfortable, and (unlike most VRBO rentals) the kitchen cupboards were a treasure-trove of high quality glassware, dinnerware, condiments, and every bit of kitchen kit a chef could need. The outdoor space was like having our own mini-resort - with many hours spent sitting round the fireplace or in the spa. We also paid to heat the pool which was definitely worth it, as the heater did a great job of holding to a temp of at least 88 degrees, and this meant the kids went in every single day despite it being the middle of winter! And Dave and Sue are the absolute best hosts. They were super welcoming and super responsive throughout our stay, and they clearly take great pride in the quality of their home and the experience of their guests. Thanks again, and we hope to be back!

Beautiful desert oasis!

It was late August in Arizona so we decided of course to leave Colorado to visit the sweltering heat of the desert. Luckily we had the pleasure of staying in the absolute oasis of a home here in Gilbert! The pool and spa were incredible and our hosts could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We have 2 small children and will definitely be coming back to stay in the future. Thanks again to Dave and Sue. We really appreciate the hospitality.

Great family get away

Took my family here in early July. Had a great time relaxing at the pool and cooling off in the water. Would typically give this a 5 star but a couple of the bedrooms were extremely hot while others ice cold so kids had to sleep with us and the pool would get dirty on certain days and stay dirty, pool lights didn't work either and we never saw a pool tech who was suppose to show. . Besides that, great place to rent and take the family. Dave and Sue are good people and location is great for restaurants, shopping, walking, etc. I am sure they will get those other issues we experienced handled as well as the place was very well kept and supplied. Park is right beside the house which we like. All in all great trip

Montana Visitors

This home was everything a VRBO should be. It had every amenity a guest could want. The house was immaculate and beautiful. The back yard was a mini resort with a lovely pool and spa, cabana with outdoor fireplace and bbq, fruit trees, a putting green and outdoor dining area. The owners were immediately responsive to any inquiry or request. Definitely 5 star in every respect.

Doesnā€™t get better than this!

We canā€™t say enough about this great property! The owners Dave and Sue are excellent hosts. They kept in touch with us and answered any questions we had immediately. The home has everything you could possibly need for cooking. The swimming pool, putting green and gazebo with fireplace are awesome. We had the pool heated while our grandkids visited, it was wonderful. You wonā€™t believe all the pool toys, rafts, life jackets etc. for the pool. The spa was a big hit after each round of golf. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. The home is located near shopping, restaurants and activities. We have stayed at several VRBOā€™S and this one tops them all. Great house, great location and great hosts! Highly recommend and would love to stay there again.

Vacation in paradise

This VRBO far exceeded our expectations. This home is absolutely gorgeous inside and out and the backyard is a mini-resort/paradise! The home and yard have everything you could possibly need or want provided (pool, spa, ramada, outdoor kitchen, putt putt course, etc). The location is great, close to many restaurants and retail. Owners Dave and Sue were incredible to work with and responded instantly anytime we had questions. The home was immaculately clean and well maintained. We had a wonderful week/vacation and we look forward to coming back again in the future. Will definitely rent this home again. Totally blows away any other VRBO we have rented in the past! Meets and exceeds expectations!

Our family of 7 had a wonderful 10 days at Power Ranch. Dave and Sue have thought of everything to make their resort style home perfect for a memory making vacation. Communication with them was excellent from start to finish. The cleanliness of their home was apparent throughout and this was of importance to us and greatly appreciated. Great stay!

Casa del Sol is a wonderful property. Sue and Dave take great pride in their home and make everyone feel very welcome. They are very responsive and want you to have a great vacation. The kitchen has all the dishes, glasses, pots, and pans you will need. Fully stocked pantry and spice cabinet. Pool and outdoor kitchen are amazing. Garage has all the toys you want and even 2 bikes to cruise the neighborhood. In the rest of the house, lots of space to spread out. Master bathroom/bedroom is huge. Three full baths give everyone their own privacy. House is nice and quiet and relaxing. Thanks again Sue and Dave for a great stay!

Perfect Personal Resort!!!!!

This is the most AMAZING home with the most hospitable hosts!! Dave and Sue have thought of every last detail to make their home the most enjoyable experience possible!! From cozy towels, to perfect pillows and sheets, to pool toys and every thing you could possibly need to cook in the gorgeous kitchen, this home has everything!! We felt like we were at our own personal resort!!! The backyard is gorgeous: citrus trees, lantana, the cabana, the putting green, and the gorgeous pool!! The pool is fantastic at any time of the day or nightā€¦we loved hanging by it first thing in the morning, last thing at night and even in the heat of the day under the umbrellas. We spent the week with a mix of exploring the area and relaxing at home. We loved hiking nearby peaks, walking trails, golfing, and looking for the wild Salt River horses!! The house is perfectly located! You should not look any furtherā€”this home is the one you want to book!! Youā€™ll find yourself wishing you never had to leave and dreaming about when you can come back again!!!

The minute we walked into this home, we knew that we wanted to have this be our vacation home. We need to get to the sunshine on occasion and Arizona offers a wonderful climate and so many activities. So, when looking for our home away from home we happened upon this house and that was it for us! The outdoor oasis was what really sold us on the house. The outdoor ambiance is beautiful at night. We always feel like we are transported to Paradise!!
This lovely community offers two pools, various sports courts and 27 miles of bike/walking trails. Right down the street on Wednesdays we have a Farmers Market on Wednesdays from 4-8PM.

Our own private pool with waterfall features, in-ground spa & putting green. Our very private ramada is very peaceful and relaxing, especially with a burning fire in the fireplace. We also have a safe to keep your special items secure.

For little ones we have a pack n play, high chair.
