Casita is 2 blocks to beach in GATED COMMUNITY with FREE INTERNET, WIFI and CABLE TV. Casita is centrally located and much closer to restaurants and activities than Las Conchas. Casita is clean, fully furnished and pet friendly including new outdoor grill, new full size refrigerator, new stove, stocked pantry, new A/C, heating, etc. Casita is decorated in Mexican style in a gated, safe, friendly, English-speaking community with 24 hour English-speaking Security. Casita sits on hill overlooking town and distant mountains. Covered, spacious patio with BBQ grill affords outdoor dining. Casita is an easy, safe walk to Mirador Beach on Sea of Cortez offering swimming, fishing, tide pooling, horseback riding, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, dolphin/whale/bird watching, water sports, etc. Puerto Peñasco, aka Rocky Point, is a safe, friendly town 60 miles south of US border crossing at Lukeville, Arizona. Drive your own car over patrolled, modern highway. Must adhere to 25 mph all the way across Sonoyta. Enjoy awesome fresh shrimp, flounder in many restaurants.

LOVED this casita!

Elizabeth was so helpful and gave so many great recommendations for places to check out while we were visiting and all of her instructions were very clear and thorough - the proximity to the beach was a HUGE plus, the yard was great for our dogs the house was stocked with everything we could have needed! we would LOVE to stay again the next time we come back, it was so homey pleasant, truly our best stay in Puerto Peñasco yet! **tip for visiting the area if you’re a light sleeper: earplugs are a lifesaver at night! it’s a quiet neighborhood here, however the nearby bars off-road vehicles can still be a bit loud at night :)

Perfect place for our family

Loved staying here with our two kids and dogs. The fenced in yard was nice for everyone to run around while we could sit on the patio and enjoy coffee and games. The place felt really homey. It is super close to the beach and some great restaurants. Elizabeth was an amazing host and we will definitely be back again! We didn't want to leave!

Short vacation.

Great security, security guards very friendly, enclosed yard for dog, clean, great ice cold air conditioning. Showers outside to wash off. Cooked on the barbecue grill. Enjoyed watching baseball on great reception television. Privacy. Very close to town and beach. Everything was in the Casita that we needed. Very comfortable beds. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Plenty of towels. Easy to find and instructions for the house. Stayed five days. Much better than the resorts.

Good spot

Quick getaway with dogs to beach. Ocean 5 min walk for dogs to run and fenced in yard to relax on patio. Close to downtown or a few bars to have food and drinks. Comfy beds!!!!! Well stocked with everything you could ever want.

We cannot say enough positive things about this property! The home is in a private gated community, and is beautiful and cozy with lovely decorations, very clean, well stocked with everything you could possibly need and close to Mirador Beach and restaurants. The outdoor area is lovely to relax and cook/eat in, and the neighbors (and security guards) are friendly and helpful. The home is gated with parking and was very secure for our two small dogs. We will definitely book this property again in the future as it is truly a home away from home.

Lovely Casita near the beach!

We loved our stay at the casita! It was a great location just a short walk from a beautiful and quiet beach. We were also able to walk to many restaurants and bars in Puerto Penasco, including Manny’s. The casita was so cute and looked just like the pictures on VRBO. We also loved that there was a yard for our dogs to play. The kitchen had everything you would need and we enjoyed the large selection of DVD’s to watch! We had such a great vacation and would like to stay here again next time we are in Puerto Penasco!

Perfectly pleasant abode

Hosts have shared a really wonderful space in a safe neighborhood. Not too far from anything you could want to see. Well outfitted and comfortable. The Casita is perfect for a small family stay to dip your toes in to Puerto Penasco.

Loved it!

Everything was great. Location, safety, comfort, cleanliness. The bed was super comfy. The whole house was very clean and beautifully decorated. We would definitely stay here again!

WONDERFUL PLACE

A great, safe, and a quiet location. The casita was not only spotless upon arrival, but the decor of the entire place was colorful and lovely. Elizabeth, the owner, was very quick to respond. Well worth the money to stay here.

Perfect Getaway

Perfect getaway for son and I. Short walk to beach and short commute to attractions. Place was just as described on in the pictures. Internet is a little slow. Friends who stayed here before and it came highly recommended.

Cozy, private, and very secure, Roman and the other security guards take good care of the safety of the residents, the place is already situated in a safe neighborhood, the casita kitchen is equipped with everything I could have needed and very clean, same positive experience with the bathroom, bedroom and living room, modern appliance functional ac plus fans to keep you cool, sheets, towels plus extra. We took our 3 dogs and since they love to sit on the furniture we took some sheets from our home and covered the 2 couches so that we didn't leave any dog hair, there is a gas bbq, a hoose outside to rinse the sand off us and the dogs, before leaving I swept the inside and covered patio so that we didn't leave any sand or dog hair. The people that live in this private community, if any, are kind neighbors, 3 dogs barked too much even for dog's lovers as us we told Roman, and magically the next days and nights all the barking stopped, I say magically because the three dogs were not removed from the property, the owners must have spoken magic words to the dogs cause not one pip came from those dogs, amazing! I wish to know how they did it. The beach is within walking distance no loose dogs wondering, I recommend bringing shoes cause the sand is made of lots of shells and there are many rocks in the sea if you like smoother sand where you can get in the sea without rubber shoes go to Las Concha a short drive east or go west to Playa Bonita. The beaches are free and for the people. Overall we had a great time and we highly recommend this property

First trip to the beach for our dog

This is a really nice house for a couple with or without kids. Really enjoyed the fenced in yard to park the car and let the dog roam. Really was surprised at how clean the place was since they allow dogs and nice to find a place that excepts dogs, hard to find. Can tell the owners have been doing this awhile, well stocked house and easy instructions for everything. Thanks Dennis

They want you to enjoy their relaxing Casita two blocks from Mirador Beach on the Sea of Cortez. Bring your favorite books, movies, binoculars and enjoy the sights around you.

Casita is in friendly, safe, second home community where everyone speaks English. Location has safe and easy access to beaches, resorts, shops, restaurants and town.

Close to the US with excellent highway access from Lukeville, AZ to Rocky Point. 5 hours from Phoenix,
4 1/2 hours from Tucson, 6 1/2 hours from Flagstaff, AZ.
Conveniently use US dollars or MX pesos.
Passport required or crossing card, but no visa for US citizens.
Mexican liability car insurance required for all vehicles.
Purchase insurance on-line or before leaving the US.
If you bring a dog, you may have to show proof of Rabies vaccine upon request at border. Health certificate for dog is not required.
