The location was fantastic. However, upon our arrival, the place wasn’t very clean. There were crumbs all over the kitchen, handprints all over the opening edges of the refrigerator, leftover trash still in the bathroom, the sink had food in it and wasn’t cleaned out, the coffee table in the living room also had food crumbs on it. The towel/linen service was nice. However, we weren’t given any toilet paper (I did look to see if I missed seeing that it wasn’t provided and did not find anywhere stating we had to bring our own) and there wasn’t any trash bags available for us to put in the kitchen trash can, which did not have a bag in it. We did reach out to the owner and his solution was to send a cleaner but by the time I had gotten the response, it wasn’t worth it and I also didn’t want a cleaner when we weren’t there. For a 140 cleaning charge, I sure hope it was cleaned better than that when we left since that’s what they charge, even AFTER they ask you to do most of the cleaning upon checkout time! I asked about a refund or some kind of compromise with the cleaning fee but never got a response on that part. We sent most of our time at the music festival so we weren’t there much but regardless of that, it would have been nice to have a cleaner place.
