Located just 15 miles north of Grand Marais, this peaceful 3-bedroom, 2-bath cabin offers panoramic lake views, privacy, and easy access to some of the North Shore’s best adventures.

This is probably our favorite stay ever. Loved all the nooks for reading and watching the lake. Excellent location for everything!

Views couldn’t be better! Right on the water and hearing the waves at night so close was so peaceful. Very responsive host! Would absolutely stay again!

Looking for a peaceful, secluded retreat right on the lake? This is it! There’s plenty of room, you won’t feel on top of each other. The views are breathtaking. Pictures don’t show, but there is a shower in each bathroom. Note that the floors have spiral stairs. We had no trouble navigating them.

Magical

This place was just right for us! We brought paddle boards, made a few meals, and soaked up the sun and starlight from all the balconies and windows. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful and Peaceful Spot

The house is placed on a beautiful rocky lake shore. There is great privacy and I appreciated the items the host had in the house. Stuff like cooking supplies, games, and laundry access. This is a great spot and I would definitely come back in the future.

It was lovely. The windows and sitting areas were amazing. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen veey well supplied though we never cooked there. The fireplace, amazing. The driveway is hard to see and there are a lot of steps. But it is a fantastic house to stay in. Great location.

This lovely property is very private & unique with stunning views of Lake Superior and easy access to the rocky shore. The host was extremely responsive to questions which was much appreciated. The kitchen well appointed with plenty of utensils, plates, pots & pans and even items such as ziploc bags and storage containers which we don’t usually find in Vrbos. There is plenty of seating in the kitchen. There are 3 wonderful areas to view the lake inside- living room with large windows and 2 areas up the spiral stairs overlooking the lake where we spent most of our time loving the views. One bedroom with bath is on the main level and 2 others with bathroom are up a spiral staircase. There is no a/c but even in the heat wave upon us, it was not needed and the house was comfortable, even cool. The deck is spacious with another amazing view of the lake. We appreciated the privacy and beauty of the area and enjoyed walking out on the rocky areas along the lake. If we ever get to the North Shore again, I would definitely consider staying again. It worked very well for our group of 4.

The views from the house were exquisite and Shayla was very responsive whenever we had a question. The deck, which goes of the way around the house, was a nice touch. The kitchen was well equipped and the windows were beautiful. There was plenty of paper towels and toilet paper. The pool table and foosball table in the basement would be great for a family.

The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds super comfortable, and the views - spectacular. The house is very large and big enough to accommodate gatherings of people, or allows for one to be off doing your own thing. The patio was right by the water and made for incredible morning tea/coffee awakenings and lovely little goodnights to the sky. You can hear the waves crashing from every bedroom, even the ones upstairs. This is a place I will endeavor to get back to. Well worth it.

This home was great. Shayla made sure everything went smoothly. The views cannot be beat. Furniture was comfortable, and we had all the necessary accouterments to cook our own meals. The price was very reasonable. The stairs might be difficult for the elderly, but my father who struggles with stairs was able to use them to get to the loft, to take advantage of the amazing view. Master bed is on the main floor, so using steps can be avoided. I highly recommend this home.

Amazing Scenic View

Our stay was amazing, and we absolutely loved the view from the house! The location was beautiful, with easy access to many local attractions. If you’re visiting during warm weather, consider bringing fans—while the lake breeze helps, the upstairs bedrooms can still use a little extra air circulation since the house doesn’t have air conditioning. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking, though the frying pans have seen better days and there are only a few plastic utensils for the nonstick cookware. Overall, the home was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our family getaway. Also, we had amazing communication with the host!

Decided to head north during our spring break and were lucky to find this place. You could hear the sound of the waves as soon as we stepped out of the car. The house is a bit quirky, but that adds to the charm. Our 2 teenage boys enjoyed having bedrooms/bathroom to themselves up the first set of stairs, with mom & dad staying in the main floor bedroom. Rooms were comfortable. The real star was the great room with spectacular views of Lake Superior - simply amazing! We spent a lot of time sitting in the "lookout loft" (as we called it) watching the waves. The first night we were treated to endless stars and northern lights. On the last evening there was a wind advisory; we watched the waves increase in size as the day went on, never tiring of the sound of them crashing against the shore. It was too cold for us to sit outside on the deck, but it is large with Adirondack chairs - would be lovely in warmer weather. We did use the kitchen for quick meals/leftovers and easily found whatever we needed. Location is close enough to Grand Marais to grab some dinner or groceries, also close enough to Grand Portage to get a meal and check out the High Falls. Shayla was responsive and easy to communicate with.We enjoyed our stay and would go back! Every one of us said we would love to see the shore there in the summer.

Our family enjoyed staying at this property so much! The location on Lake Superior is unbeatable. We really enjoyed listening to the waves crashing on the rocks below the deck. And speaking of the deck, the amount of stars we could see at night off the deck was amazing! Part of the reason we booked in this area was because of the dark skies, and it was really a treat to take in all the stars. The wood fireplace was such a great perk. We spent a couple nights playing games and reading books with a fire going. It made for very cozy evenings indeed. It was clean, well stocked, and Shayla was very responsive. I highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful old cabin with updated elegance. There were huge windows everywhere and there was a great view of Lake Superior from just about everywhere in the house (maybe except the basement).We loved the private location with our own access to the rocks on the shore. There is absolutely no other homes or people within sight of the cabin- we loved the secluded location.We had everything we needed in the kitchen, and appreciated the coffee, tea, and spices available - we even noticed the kid Tylenol in a medicine cabinet... while we didn't need it, we imagined that it could be very appreciated by a family with a sick kid.The TV with Roku was appreciated on a rainy, stormy day- along with the foosball and pool tables tucked away in the basement. My daughter even used the extra space in the basement to practice her dance routines in a more private part of the house.The house was very clean, including all those windows looking out over Lake Superior! They looked like they must have been cleaned before our arrival- I've never noticed such clean windows before!And our host checked in with us to make sure everything was going okay, which it was, and she was very quick with her responses.I'm not sure if we'll find ourselves back so far north anytime soon, but if we do, we will easily try to stay here again.
