Perfect four season rental with new rooftop deck to relax on the scenic shores of Southern Maine and enjoy the ocean and lighthouse views. This house has 3 BRs and 2 full baths. The kitchen, dining and living rooms are on the second floor with large ocean facing windows and slider which leads to an oversized deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the Nubble Lighthouse. Also, on the second floor, there is a master bedroom and recently renovated bath with walk-in tiled shower. On the first floor, there is a full bathroom, laundry, and 2 spacious BRs, one with a queen bed and one with two sets of bunks (a full and 3 twins).
Amenities include fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, drip coffee maker, refrigerator with ice-maker, 42' flat screen SmartTV with streaming and Wifi, beach chairs, boogie boards, fans, outdoor gas grill. Deck and roof deck with comfy deck furniture provided to enjoy the sunrise, sunset and everything in between. Home is heated for spring, fall & winter. It’s a great spot to relax, read a book, count the stars and have some cocktails! This home delivers convenience to the best the Maine Coast has to offer. Only steps away from Nubble Lighthouse, Fox's restaurant and Dunne’s Ice Cream (open May-Oct). Close to Short Sands and Longs Sands beaches, downtown York shops/food/arcade and York Wild Kingdom/Amusement Park. 5 miles from an easy hike up Mount Agnemeticus. 8 miles from Ogunquit Beach and Perkins Cove with great shopping, restaurants, and art. Fishing charters, whale watching, and gorgeous sunset sails are also available in Kennebunkport which is also close. Outlet shopping is available at the Kittery factory outlets just a few minutes away. Portsmouth, Portland and Freeport are fun to visit too!

Amazing spot and house is adorable!

We came up for UNH graduation with our family. Beautifully decorated and clean. The view on the deck is amazing. Close to beach and 20 mins to Portsmouth! We can’t wait to book again!

Moby Delightful!

This property was perfect for our core group of 4 (and 3 nights with 7). Three generations of family finally under the same roof since COVID. We were all very pleased with the amenities, the fabulous decks and the whole house. It is obvious that the owners' took great care in decorating and stocking their home. We loved all the details from the whale pillow to the whale bottle opener, and much more. We would start every morning with coffee on the top deck with glorious views of the Nubble and end each evening sitting out on the second level deck around the firepit to talk about the day's adventures. We've stayed in a number of nice properties in York over the years but this one, by far, was the complete package as far as comfort, location, layout and design. Our family had a wonderful week and we all agreed that we would love to come back to this beautiful home away from home on the Nubble. Three cheers for Moby Deck!!!

Space to Create A Tradition

This was a wonderful experience. Cheryl was a great host who communicated clearly. Six months after our stay, my kids still talk about the lighthouse, ice cream, and climbing the surfside rocks on the Neck. They can’t wait to go back, but it’s booked well in advance. Book early so you won’t disappoint your own kids.

That View!!!

We visited during off season for a wedding and would love to go back in the summer! This was perfect for our group. While it was rainy when we went, the location is walkable and other restaurants, etc are drivable including grocery store if your planning to cook for yourself. Very clean and the communication with property manager is excellent!

Great location and view

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moby Deck. The view from the top deck was incredible with the lighthouse and ocean straight ahead. The house was roomy for our family of 5. Plenty of amenities with a fully stocked kitchen and laundry room and supplies. Communication with the owners was excellent. Dunnes ice cream can be seen from the deck and is practically next door. Foxs was a short 5 minute walk. The yard was also enjoyed by my kids.

Lovely Visit to York Beach!

We had a wonderful trip for our 1st to Maine. Great time with family and friends. The house is exactly as described and we loved waking up to the lighthouse every morning! Lots of extra amenities and supplies that made the trip easy and comfortable!!

We had a wonderful family beach vacation at this home. It was well equipped with everything you need and has a great deck overlooking the lighthouse. Perfect location. Very clean. Close to everything.

Stay was great!

Cheryl was a wonderful host. House was ready to go when we got there and she reached out right away to make sure everything was in working order. Communication was impeccable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We wished the view would've been unobstructed to the water but unfortunately there is a house being built right in front. It was a damper to hear the construction going on every day but we can't fault the house/host, it was a lovely stay regardless.

Mobydeck was our perfect oasis

What a lovely home with a gorgeous view of the lighthouse. We spent as much time sitting on the deck as we did exploring York and the surrounding area. The location was convenient to downtown, and a short drive to Marginal Way. Loved the home; thanks to the gracious hostess for sharing.

Beautiful view of the Nubble

Cheryl was great to communicate with and even drove to the property to personally to get us an item we needed. The house was clean, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. Our favorite part was the porch with views of the Lighthouse. We all enjoyed walking to the ice cream shop and to the Nubble-it was a quick walk that all ages can enjoy. Our children (3.5-10.5 aged) loved the rocks at the park where you view the lighthouse. We went back like 4-5x for them to climb! Short Sands beach and playground was perfect for a family with kids. We drove up to Kennebunkport for a lobster cruise and to see where the Bush family has a vacation home. We bought fresh lobsters from Plum Beach Lobster and cooked them at the house the last night-it was so much fun! The Moby Deck was perfect for 2 families with kids! You won’t be disappointed if you book it!

Clean, comfortable, beautiful view

House was exactly as listed and very clean. Beautiful view from the deck. Short walk to the lighthouse and Dunne's ice cream. The large dining/living room and large deck had lots of space for our group of 6. Cheryl reached out before check-in and was available if we needed anything (not that we did!).

The View was AMAZING and the house was SPOTLESS

This was a true getaway for our girls weekend. The house was spacious and had everything we needed, and we could not stop commenting on how clean it was. Although we brought our own linens, there were plenty of pillows and blankets (which we often find we don't have enough of). The view speaks for itself and drinking coffee while looking out the windows was fantastic. We often had to check the weather or go outside to see if it actually was 15 degrees because it didn't seem possible. The house is in the middle of Ogunquit, ME and Portsmouth, NH which allowed for us to spend 1 day in Kittery/York, 1 day in Ogunquit and 1 day in Portsmouth without feeling like we were doing a lot of driving. I hope we get to come back and enjoy this home again!

Simply the perfect place to stay by the sea.

This rental was just perfect. Beautifully renovated with thoughtful touches and comfortable and stylish furniture. And, the view from the deck is phenomenal. The hosts were wonderful to communicate with. A piece of heaven by the ocean.

Fabulous view of the ocean from a large deck with plenty of seating. Interior was spacious.

We had a beautiful New England autumn weekend. The house was in a quiet area (probably not so much in the summer) with plenty of room for all. The decks provided a view beyond expectation. The house was equipped with comfortable beds in nice sized bedrooms. Favorite part of day was sitting on the sectional on deck moving with the sun from 10:00 to close to 3:00! The yard had beautiful flowers, which embellished the dining table. Plenty of parking spaces too. Walks to the lighthouse and through the neighboring streets were lovely. Nearby hotel wedding provided musical entertainment one evening. Nearby was a restaurant with fresh seafood fare and a nice after dinner stroll back to the house. Quick drive down the road to walk the beach or stroll through town. Definite favorite rental for family gatherings. Enjoyed star gazing at night and the sunset sky was heavenly.

Beautiful home with an amazing view

This home is spectacular. The home is easily accessible for anyone looking to stay in York, beautifully furnished and a perfect place to relax. Long sand beach is a mile one way, down town is about a mile away the otherway; with plenty of activities for all family's or groups. Our group was so pleased with how clean the house was and spent as much time as possible out on the beautiful deck over looking nubble light. It was hard for us to leave, we are all so grateful for the opportunity to stay at this fantastic place.

Wonderful house; gorgeous views

We had a wonderful stay at this home. It worked well for my extended family, with bedrooms and bathrooms on two levels; spacious kitchen and dining areas; and the lovely deck with amazing views of the lighthouse. Walking distance to Fox's Lobster House and Dunne's Ice Cream. In a family-friendly neighborhood with lots of kids, dogs, bikes etc. Convenient to both Short and Long Sands beaches (Short Sands being the one with the arcade, shops, restaurants, ice cream etc). Very clean; the beach chairs and umbrella are a great addition (and they are good sturdy ones; better than our own!); beds are comfy; all appliances in good working order. Responsive & trustworthy owner; highly recommend!

Great view and attentive owners!

First time staying in this home. Has a great view of Nubble and its surroundings. The house is very comfortable, spacious and clean. Plenty of room to for family card games and places that provide privacy/alone time when needed. There are two decks, bottom deck stays pretty cool, the upper deck has a very comfortable couch and the view is priceless. The owners were very attentive to our needs and quick to respond to questions. We would definitely rent again!
