Escape to our charming lakeside cottage, where the beauty of nature unfolds before your eyes. Our cozy, older-style cottage offers a perfect blend of simplicity and comfort, ideal for those seeking a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

This is a basic, rustic cottage.

lake for swimming, fishing, or simply relaxing by
the water`s edge.
*Beautiful Lot: Perfect for picnics, stargazing, and
connecting with loved ones around a crackling
campfire!
*Lake Playground: Embrace outdoor fun with 2
kayaks, a canoe, paddle boat, and a SUP (Stand Up
Paddleboard).

*The cottage, depicted on the left in the first picture, is connected to the guest house (unoccupied) on the right via a charming deck. While the interior of the guest house is unavailable, rest assured that the decks and the entire cottage are yours to enjoy during your stay!

Primary Renter must be 35 years +, and residing at the cottage for the rental period.
* Although there is a cleaning service, renters are still required to leave the cottage in a neat, clean, and tidy state. Please remember this is a privately owned home, not a housekeeping cottage or hotel. Extra cleaning charges will be billed if necessary

Wolf Lake is a true gem, boasting stunning landscapes pine forests, rugged granite outcrops, and a beautiful water.

Tranquil Recreational Opportunities:

Whether you seek thrilling adventures or peaceful moments of reflection, Wolf Lake has something to offer everyone. The lake’s pristine waters are perfect for fishing, with opportunities to catch a variety of species, including bass, trout, muskie, and pan fish.

Paddling Paradise:
Wolf Lake is a haven for paddlers, offering great opportunities to explore its serene waters by kayak or canoe.

Wolf Lake is located off of Anstruther Lake Road on the east side of Highway #28 and east of Apsley in Peterborough County. The lake is situated within the Kawartha Highlands Park. There is a small sand gravel-based public boat launch on the east end of the lake.

The lake reaches maximum depths of 30’ and the average depth is 15’.

Rock rubble, submerged logs and overhanging trees provide good cover for fish along the lakes irregular shoreline. Weed beds and lily pads can also be found in the shallows. There are many points and main lake shoals and rock piles around which you can find smallmouth bass and muskie.

We hope you enjoy your stay at our cottage and create wonderful memories. We kindly request your cooperation in maintaining a neat, clean, and tidy environment during your visit.
While we do provide a cleaning service, it is essential for all guests to leave the premises in a neat & orderly condition upon departure.
We would like to emphasize that our cottage is a privately owned home, not a housekeeping cottage or hotel. As such, we appreciate your understanding and participation in keeping the space well-maintained.
In the event that additional cleaning is required, extra charges will be charged accordingly.

We genuinely appreciate your respect for our home. Thank you for your cooperation, and we hope you have a wonderful stay at our cottage!
Your dog would be fine so long he/she is picked up after, not left alone in the cottage or up on the furniture, and not allowed to bother the neighbours. He/she must also have a flea and tick collar or treatment.

We`re delighted to welcome children and infants to this cottage, and many happy families have visited! However, we want to stress the vital importance of providing close supervision at all times. It`s important to note that while the cottage is child-welcoming, it may not be specifically designed or equipped for your child`s individual needs. Therefore, we cannot guarantee or imply suitability tailored to your child(ren). To ensure their safety and well-being, we strongly recommend that children are closely supervised at all times throughout their stay. Our utmost priority is for everyone to have a fantastic and enjoyable time at our cottage!
