Luxury villa with private heated pool, garden and views of the sea and mountains

There is a very large, fully equipped kitchen which also has a breakfast table, ideal for your morning coffee. Adjacent is the laundry room which has a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. Just outside the kitchen is the purpose built barbecue area, making ‘al fresco’ dining, easy, fun and enjoyable. There is also an outside shower room with toilet, and for the more energetic a small gym room equipped with a treadmill, bicycle and triceps/biceps machine!
On the upper level are all the bedrooms; all beautifully decorated and spacious. There are 4 double bedrooms, 2 with en-suite bathrooms, (1 with Jacuzzi), and a twin bedroom. Three of these bedrooms open onto the wide balconies that overlook the swimming pool and the magnificent views.
With the style and comfort of Villa Moniz, you will not be disappointed.

Nice Villa

It’s a very spacious house, we were group of 10 had no problems fitting in. All was tidy and fully ready for our holiday. Outside area with several soft seating areas, heated pool, bbq and pizza oven was were we spent most of our time. Would definitely stay again

Great villa rented at short notice, beautiful location.

Everything was supplied apart from pool towels, but we received them as soon as requested. Not many towels were supplied luckily there was a washing machine provided for us to wash them ourselves.

Thank you for stay in our Village. Apologise for the team forget the pool towels. We supply towels for the bath for each person . We supply three towels per person including the face one. The laundry is available for the clients use any time or if the client don’t like use the laundry we can provide laundry service. We appreciate your integrity for advise the glass broken. The glass was replaced. Thank you is impounded maintain the house in excellent conditions to all our clients.

Fabulous

The Village is superb. Very clean. Our welcome was so friendly. Weather was fantastic. The view is stunning. Very good location with everything what we need around. To visit the rest of the Island is important have car however they have a transfer service and we use when we can. We totally recommend and I and my family will be back.

Superp! Had a lovely family holiday here

Had a lovely family holiday in the Village Calheta. Great amenities and a nice quiet and clean beach. Gorete and Jose were genuinely friendly and very helpful to welcome us. Quality of the rooms was good. Good variety of restaurant options nearest the house. Good quality and the food is very good. Nice aquatic sports options. Easy to Park at the Village. If you don't want hire a Car they have transport service a very good price. Stunning Sunrise and unforgettable sunset. We loved and will be back for sure.

Good stay, dreadful communication

Had a good stay but the kitchen had not been cleaned properly. Directions were very poor. We paid fiftypounds too much by mistake and kept being promised that it would be repaid, but after 3 months, still waiting. Contacted the credit card company in the end and they credited the money back. Dreadful experience.

Dear Phil. Thank you for your comment. The property has the European certification cleaning. The service is the most qualified as possible. Unfortunately was not a good experience the way you left the house. We refuse to hire this property or other to you. The payment was not refunded because you damaged all Sun umbrellas and you put them on the bom without to be honest and mentioned. Thank you and all the best please have some consideration when you visit other properties.

A GREAT STAY!

We have stayed at the Village Calheta Inn several times and have loved our stay every time. The beds are so comfortable. This Village is beautifully situated, near sea and shops, and has a very relaxing poolside. We loved it. Highly recomended . Village was very clean and spacious and all staff were very helpfull. I stayed here with my family and 3 young kids. WAOW! what a beautiful location. We were greeted by the most friendly staff, and were treated to refreshments on arrival. The house is so clean, and so beautifully decorated. The pool and gardens are pristine, and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. White sand and crystal clear waters, it was so beautiful. Very close to shops, restaurants and bars - we were within walking distance to everything. I would really recommend this village for young families. It has everything you want. Staff are always on hand and willing to assit with your every need. I will be booking our holiday here next year again!

I had the best experiance at the Village .It was close to everything that you need for a great holiday. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly Iwould highly recomend this Village. I know when ever I visit Madeira Island this is where I will be staying.. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Haus sehr genossen. Die Lage des Hauses ist tatsächlich ein Traum und auch zum Wandern ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt. Das Haus selbst ist sehr grosszügig und wurde sauber angetroffen. Wir wurden sogar mit prächtigen Weihnachtsgestecken auf den Tischen empfangen. Der Pool war geheizt und wunderbar warm. Die Lokale in der Nähe bieten eine gute Verpflegung, Einkäufe kann man in Loreto und Calheta tätigen. Der Kontakt mit Lily war hervorragend und das Haus ist eine gute Destination zum Wiederkommen.

Happy comfortzone stay

We had a really happy and comfy stay at that village. Here and there, there maybe Need some things to be renewed, like pans or knifes, but to resume the stay, it was a plessure to be there. So much space, an amazing pool (the poolboy came without extra requesting), very much space in the bedrooms, enough towels, even though we had the possibility to wash our staff. The Check in and Check out was very uncomplicated and we could always be in contact With the organisators via WhatsApp. So the whole group had a very Good Time there and we can recommend that village by full Heart.

Wir haben die Ruhe und den wunderschönen Ausblick von der Villa aus genossen, um zu arbeiten. Das war in der gut ausgestatteten Villa wunderbar möglich. Einzig das wlan-Netz ließ uns ab und zu im Stich ;-) vielen lieben Dank Lili für diesen tollen Ort!

Fabulous facility for a large family group with kids

Liliana Moniz made everything about our booking easy and effective with quick responses. Her villa is lovely and finished to a very high standard. Barbecue and pizza oven included. Pool lovely. Climate in Caheta also excellent. Gorete and Jose keep the place clean and tidy and are good value for the cleaning service. Madeira is magical regarding views, beauty and activities but most of all the people. Great beach facilities at Calheta, Ponta del Sol and Magdelena Del Mar. Driving is interesting off the main routes as the island is steep, but tunnels make trips substantially shorter. Great admiration for such a hard working people making a living on such a steep island. Wildness breathtaking and lavadas quite wonderful in concept and scale. Great place to vacation and Villa Moniz a wonderful place to base yourself. Many thanks to Liliana.

Beautiful house and wonderful service

I really enjoyed to stay in Villa Calheta. It is situated in the middle of the small village. The view is magical there is lots of space in the house. Still it feels friendly. When we arrived we were cold inside the house but we could set a fire and get warm there. I highly recommend the house and the couple working there to keep the house nice is doing a fantastic job. The house was so clean.

A good choice for visiting Madeira

It was a very nice stay in a very nice villa. Every large room is in accordance to the photos. House is well outfitted with WIFI, diswasher and so on. Every devices and furnitures are recent. The house has a nice view in front of the sea. We really enjoyed our stay in the villa and the visit of Madeira. To finish, GPS coordinates would be a good information to add. And due to steep inclines, a car is mandatory. Thanks to Liliana and sorry because we were late at arrival. Fabien and his friends.

Great villa, trustful people

We (a Dutch family) stayed in the villa Calheta for 1 week with 6 adults and 3 kids. There was plenty of room. The villa is great and all the pictures on the site very representative. The villa is very luxury and has a great view. The private swimmingpool is lovely. Don't be scared when the water level goes down on saterday, it's the cleaning system :-). When we were there, the barbeque didn't functio fully ok, but as we understand, this would be fixed in short term. The villa is on short distance to the center of the village. The communication with the owner is good. There's always a quick response and the owner is very helpful. When you arrive you are welcomed by very nice people, who look after the house. The house is nice and claen. We surely recommend the villa, enjoy your holiday!
