As you walk up the grand travertine entrance, you enter through beautiful custom black gates. The front courtyard has a patio set that will have you ready to drop your bags and hang out. The fountain creates a spa-like feel and will help alleviate any stress from traveling. As you open the front door, your eyes will travel up the winding staircase to the second floor. The soaring ceilings and upscale décor gives the formal living room and dining room a magnificent first impression. The floorplan on the first level allows for great versatility. With a circular path of travel, each route leading you to the heart of the home, the kitchen. The expertly apprised kitchen has beautiful granite countertops, a wolf stove, sub-zero fridge and is fully stocked with all the kitchen gadgets you would ever need. The kitchen opens to the family room and breakfast nook. The family room has a 70” flat screen TV, with a surround sound system that will make your movie night epic. The plush sectional couch will seat your entire party, and then some! The first floor has two sets of French doors with floor to ceiling windows which allow you to bask in the beauty that San Diego has to offer and gaze at the incredible views. Let’s face it, your guests will be raving about the backyard in this home. The infinity edge pool, with a slide leading down to the second-tier lap pool and a spa will have your guests thinking you are at a five-star resort. The top level of the pool also has a sun shelf so you can relax in the warm 12” deep water with an umbrella providing an ample amount of shade. There is an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue, dining set, gorgeous chaise lounges, Adirondack chairs and a plush outdoor sectional. Just when your guests think they’ve seen it all, lead them down the travertine stairs to Sun Beach. Your own personal white sand beach for sunbathing, soccer, bocce ball, the options are endless. When you’ve had enough sun for the day you can escape to one of the five guest rooms in the home. The master bedroom is a private and romantic setting with a large ensuite bathroom with soaking tub overlooking the lake. The upstairs has two other equal sized guest bedrooms with a plush queen size bed, perfect for relaxing. The kids in your group, or kids at heart, will love the upstairs play room. It is set up with, entertainment system, a bunk bed with slide from the top bunk and endless amounts of toys and games. The upstairs bedrooms share an ample size bathroom with double sinks. If you would like a more private space, we also have a guest room on the 1st floor with a guest bath. Our three-car garage is available to you to park your vehicle(s) in. The third bay is set up as a gym with treadmill, elliptical, and free weights.

Guests will have access to the entire home.

Lakeview Retreat is in a very quiet neighborhood and in itself a destination. Lake Hodges has incredible walking, hiking, mountain biking trails and boating, kayaking etc. Oh and BONUS! Starbucks is only a few blocks away!

Lakeview Retreat is only a quick drive (20 minutes) to the beach and Del Mar. About 3 miles to the Rancho Bernardo Inn and approximately 30 minutes to every Southern California attraction like, The San Diego Gaslamp, Convention Center, Balboa Park, Petco Park, San Diego Bay, Mission Bay, Sea World, Coronado, Carlsbad, LegoLand, San Diego Zoo & Safari Park, Local Wineries, Temecula Wineries. We are even only an hour from Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm. We have bikes, beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, and beach towels for your convenience so that you can enjoy a day at the beach.

Our home was built for entertainment, but this is not a party house. If your vacation consists of wanting a private luxurious retreat with a resort style pool, this is the house for you. Please be respectful, as all our neighbors are full time residents.

No Events or Parties. We’re in a residential neighborhood, music can be played at a reasonable noise level until 9:00pm. All backyard activity, lighting, music etc must be off by no later than 9pm Sunday thru Thursday and 10pm on Friday and Saturday. Backyard quiet hours are strictly enforced. Neighbors are close by and should not be disturbed.
No Smoking.
Child friendly, but the house is not child-proof.
No pets of any kind.
Swimming Pool Rules
No Fence. Monitor children at all times.
No running. The deck can be slippery.
Sun Shelf.
No diving. The pool is only 5 feet deep, this pool is not meant for horse-play or diving.
Supervise kids. Children are required to be monitored by an adult while in the backyard.
No Sitting, Standing or Leaning on the Infinity Edge.
Babies/Toddlers must wear swim-proof diapers.
No more than #1 swimmer at a time on the slide. Check for swimmers on the second tier before sliding.
