This historically designated, private 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath home is just steps from the iconic Don Cesar “Pink Palace” and the very best that St. Pete Beach and Pass-A-Grille have to offer. In just a four-minute stroll, you’ll find yourself on the pristine white sands of our beautiful Gulf beaches.

After soaking in a perfect sunset, retreat to your private oasis: a 27-ft pool surrounded by lush banana trees. Dine al fresco with a grilled dinner poolside, sip your favorite beverage while lounging in the water, or cozy up by the backyard fire table under the stars.

Perfect getaway

The perfect place to relax and enjoy Tampa Bay. Very pretty house and garden, you can see that the owners put in lots of effort to make you feel home. They checked with us regularly if we needed something.

Great vacation

Dave is an excellent host, he answered any questions we had immediately.We stayed at his rental for 2 months and enjoyed every minute of it. The house is exactly as it’s pictured and the neighborhood is beautiful.Would definitely recommend it.

Great location!

Property needs some updating and upkeep...painting, mattresses,etc. You have to walk through the one bedroom with the Murphy bed to get to the master bedroom. Comfortable amount of space overall and the pool back yard is lovely!

Cute Beach house

We enjoyed our stay here. Walking distance to the beach by the Don, great living room, dining area, and outdoor space. I liked that it was managed by the owner himself versus a large management company. This made it much more personable and easy to work with. Bathrooms were a little dated, but still very clean and I definitely understand that is to be expected with an older home on the beach. We also enjoyed having the amenities like wagon, beach chairs/supplies, propane for the grill and fire table, and kitchen essentials!

April 2023 Stay

The property location was excellent. The pool and outside amenities were great. Appreciated having new towels in bathrooms and for pool use. House was old and poorly maintained i.e. mismatched furniture, occasional chairs at dining room table that were too low for proper sitting, multi type interior doors either varnished or painted (none coordinated), no teaspoons and other cutlery was very cheap. Very dated bathroom facilities resulted in having to contact property manager about poor drainage of bathtub and toilet leaking in main bathroom.

Thank you Carol Anne for your visit to our Historic Home on Sunny Saint Pete Beach and we are glad you enjoyed . I am not sure how to respond to the poorly maintained remarks , however it reminds me that I must remind guest that this is a Historic Beach Home just steps from our beautiful Gulf Beaches with a huge private pool , and a great Beachy feel . Carol Ann , upon you alerting us of the leaking toilet and and bathroom tub not draining , WE immediately responded in person and the plumber arrived early next morning to resolve both . Had you asked for specific teaspoons in addition to the well stocked kitchen and regular spoons next to the forks and knives , we would of gladly purchased and brought them over to you . Please let us know if we can help you in the future and thank you for choosing us . Dave Green

Great location; great host.

The house, the pool out back (morning wake-up), the back deck: all made for a comfortable place to call home. Kitchen, baths, furnishings all worked for us. 10 minute walk to the beach, 4 minutes to public tennis courts in the park. Nice size park to walk our dog. Good restaurants, food & drug stores 10 minutes away by car. This is a small nearly-island neighborhood of houses, mostly surrounded by water & docks, so it is quiet & seems far away from the traffic & congestion of Gulf Avenue. But you can be on Gulf in a minute, or driving towards downtown St Pete in less than that. We’ve been coming to PAG for 14 years, pre & post retirement; this is the best location we’ve found. We found our host Dave to be responsive and friendly, enjoyable to talk with, and trustworthy. We don’t hesitate to recommend him and his properties. We had a great time, as did a few guests during our stay.

Awesome Property

We could not have felt more at home if we tried. Not the Taj Mahal so that's what you're looking for, don't stay here If you are looking for a very comfortable, family oriented, clean, well maintained, well located, well stocked, fun property with a great pool area than this is your destination! Owner was great in terms of communications. We felt so comfortable here and although we did spend a lot of time in the pool, the rest of the house was just nice to be in. Lots of thoughtful chairs, beach toys and floaties provided (we left ours there too!) Close to everything. Beautiful beach area right down the street. If you have the opportunity to rent this place do it in a heartbeat.

Everything Florida Home!

Location Location Location!!! Absolutely the best location in St Pete/ Pass-a-Grille area. Well seasoned florida home with all the amenities one needs. Great pool. Home setting in quiet neighborhood but also just steps away from beach. Close to restaurants, groceries etc. Dave knows how to host! Excellent communication and attentive to every detail to ensure a resourceful and relaxing stay. We will be back!!

Another Great Stay!

This was our second stay at Dave's St Pete Beach property. Completely consistent experience from our first stay from a couple of years ago. No issues or problems. House was very clean. Pool was fantastic. We made quite a bit of use out of the pool considering the red tide situation along the beach. Definitely would stay here again!

Great beach location in quiet neighborhood

This was a great place for a short beach getaway. The location is excellent just off the main road behind the Don Cesar and a short walk to the sand. After a day at the beach, the house has a hot/cold outdoor shower that is perfect for rinsing off before taking a refreshing dip in the pool. Quiet neighborhood and a friendly neighbor who even shared a few mangoes growing in his front yard made this a convenient and easy vacation for the whole family.

Love this property!

Had an amazing time. It was a nice five minute walk to the beach. The pool was refreshing, even in ninety degree weather! The home was spacious and comfortable. Just a great property!

A-MA-ZING!!!

I do not have one complaint about our experience. Super clean, super spacious, super relaxing. The location was absolutely perfect. Short walk to the beach, which was wonderful as well. Gorgeous beach. No public access, located directly behind the Don. We gathered shells, watched the sunset, chased crabs and played in great water. It’s not a clear “blue” color, it’s more of a clear green, but absolutely beautiful. The pool was a GREAT amenity. After a couple days on the beach, we needed to have shade access and it was the perfect place to relax with the bbq grill and small fire pit. Many great local places to eat. Publix is closest, but a little costly. The next door neighbor, Michael, was a total pleasure to meet. Dave, the owner, was attentive and wonderful to work with and talk to. If you are looking for a brand new and pristine property, probably not for you. But if you want homey, relaxing and comfortable, you will absolutely love it. Side note: only the master bedroom has a ceiling fan. The other 2 rooms get a little warm at night depending on what you’re used to. The air does not go below 70 (understandably), but next time we will bring a box fan. (The dolphin/sand dollar tour is a MUST!!)

Close to the beach, walked everywhere or took the free rides; felt very safe! When at the house, spent most of the time relaxing out by the pool, very spacious area. We will be back :-)

Very clean and close to everything. The pool and back deck were a big hit with the family. Fun to sit around and chat. Very close to the beach and restaurants. Will stay here again next time we are in town!

Beach location

We had a lovely time enjoying our stay with family. The property is in walking distance to the beach. The beach is beautiful. We enjoying sitting outside in the shade next to the pool, doing yoga on a private deck in back.
