Fantastic place to host a family gathering! It’s much more than a cabin—this lovely home has all the amenities to make everyone happy (from babies to grandparents and everyone in between), set on a gorgeous lot big enough to get space when you need it! Layne was a gracious and helpful host who communicated with us whenever we needed, and her home is nothing short of paradise! Highly recommend for groups looking for a place that has something for everyone!

Wonderful place for a large family vacation, we all had our private space when we needed it, the kitchen had appropriate supplies for cooking and the game room had toys and activities for all ages.The hot tub took some time to get up to temperature but was great once it got going. Thank you for the wonderful location!

A beautiful, well-lit, spacious house on lovely quiet property with big grassy area to play on, outdoor fire pit with plenty of seating, hot tub, large kitchen with ample items for cooking and eating. Choices of bedrooms on 3 floors fit a large intergenerational group well. Comfortable furniture, foosball table and large outdoor porch were fully enjoyed too. Sidenote: The room with the bunk beds is loft-style (no door) so sound carries to and from that room more easily. Great thing is there is a big-enough side family room with a door that closes that works well for keeping early risers/late to bed from waking each other up. Layne was responsive in communicating. Thank you for sharing your wonderful place!

Beautiful space, kitchen had every dish or supply you would need, and furniture was comfortable and clean. Host was communicative when we needed something. We recommend letting the host know your planned arrival time and if you’ll be using the hot tub so the house thermostat can get turned on and the hot tub is ready for guest use.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything we could have needed was provided—well stocked kitchen, laundry room, bathrooms, etc. Everything was clean and welcoming. Our stay was very comfortable. The host was available within minutes when we had a question. We highly recommend this Cozy Coastal Cabin! Our family wants to return!

This was such a warm and cozy home for our extended family get together over the Thanksgiving holiday. Loved that everyone had their own bed/ bedroom and so many bathrooms. Really makes it such a comfortable home for everyone. The great room was so much fun for all of us watching football games and the new stranger things episodes and for family sing alongs. Was just so cozy in the winter months.

Not often does the house actually look better in person than in the photos. This place was amazing. Our family had a great time playing wiffle ball (we brought our own set) in the yard. The kitchen is large enough to have several people cooking at one time. Lots of common area living space and it is located at the end of the road with total privacy. We'll be back next year!

TL:DR Beautiful modern well-appointed clean house on 5 acres in a very rural setting.Six very nice bedrooms, large dining room, large game room, laundry room, big kitchen with adjacent large living room. *Very* quiet except as noted below. The host was extremely responsive to queries. We'd gladly stay here again.The website description is very accurate, the house has pretty much everything you need for a fun stay. Camano Island is surprisingly rural considering how close it is to Seattle; we felt like we were out in the country for our whole visit. The house sits probably a quarter mile from the road on five forested acres, we couldn't hear anything from the not-very-close neighbors.There are two state parks and one county(?) park on the island, all of which are on the water so plenty of opportunity for water sports. There are also quite a few labeled beaches on the island. If you like water you'll love it here. The island is small enough that everything is ten minutes or so travel from the house.Two things to be aware of when renting. These are NOT complaints or reasons not to rent, just considerations when thinking about this place.1. There's a naval airbase ten miles away, with occasional flights over the house which are quite noisy. Not often, but might freak out timid animals/kids.2. The loft bedroom at the top of the house has no windows and no AC, gets very warm on hot nights. They do have fans in place which help some.Highly recommended!

Huge multilevel home with lots of spaces for our big family. The kitchen is large and well-appointed, with multiple small appliances and cooking utensils. We had a blast playing games on the huge grassy area and the kids loved the swing set. Lots of parking. Very private feeling--surrounded by nature. Easy communication with the host. We had a most enjoyable trip, we would definitely come here again!

This property is amazing. Beautifully maintained and HUGE. Fun to explore. Very comfortable interior.Perfect hot tub. Well stocked kitchen. Sweetest outdoor neighbor kitty. Great communication. Had a fabulous girls getaway trip but would be perfect for kids as well!

Loving Camano Island!

What a wonderful vacation spot! Our first visit to Camano Island and we enjoyed every minute! The Cozy Coastal Cabin was just as described online with 4 floors of room so we could really spread out and still be together. The kitchen was well-furnished, the game room was a big hit, and our host, Layne, was quick to respond to our questions. The grounds around the home may have been my favorite part -- we saw deer, rabbits, birds; enjoyed the fire pit every evening; and felt refreshed and recharged living among the giant trees! We could hardly keep our grandchildren off the swing set! Thanks, Layne, for hosting our memorable vacation!

Perfect Getaway with Large Group

Our group had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Coastal Cabin! We came with our baby group so there were multiple babies around 1 year old. The house had great open spaces for them and the adults. The kitchen was big enough to cook together and we had fun in multiple hang out places inside and outside.The reason I give it a little less then 5 stars for cleanliness is that there were a few things broken around the property. When we saw them, we communicated with the host and she was thoughtful and understanding in her responses. However, the cleaning crew after our visit reported cleaning concerns that we weren’t responsible for. The host and I communicated and again she was very thoughtful and we sorted out the issues. Hopefully there won’t be issues with the cleaners in the future, but I would recommend documenting anything you notice upon arrival and communicating that to the host. She was very understanding.

My husband and I hosted three of our adult children, their spouses, and our three small grandchildren for a week at this property. Everything about the property was excellent. The lawn area was huge and provided ample room for the kids to play baseball and soccer (young kid style) and the play structure was fun for them as well. The house was larger than anticipated and provided more than enough room for us all. It was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The host was extremely fast to respond to any questions that we had. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
