This was probably one of the best units we have stayed in at the Shores of Panama. We had plenty of space and the corner view was perfect. The old school Golf game was a hit with the kids and grandparents alike. We always enjoy staying at the Shores due to proximity to shopping and restaurants. It does get a little crowded and the elevators sometimes stop working, but doesn’t impact our review of this unit itself. Highly recommend and will stay again. Only feedback is I wish there was a place to put all the decorative pillows. Not a deal breaker, but have stayed in places before that provide baskets or a “home” for them to ensure they stay clean.

Great place!

We just got back from our stay. The view from the room is absolutely stunning. Everything was clean. Quick responses when we had questions. No problems with elevators. Just a very short walk to the parking lot, and the parking spot is right by the door. We always stay at Shores of Panama.. we love the pool! The zero-entry pool is great for littles! The bar makes amazing drinks and the food at the pool is so good! We would definitely stay here again.

When entering the placement of the furniture was weirdly placed. We did move it to make it more spacious. There was no sheets for the pullout matress what so ever so we had to sacrifice blankets. Sand was in the floor and in my email it said excess sand would leave a charge but we had to sweep when entering. Was not the biggest but was nice for the days we were there. Air conditioning felt great, great balcony, beds were big in the rooms besides the bunk room being tiny. Overall somewhere to lay our head. Also they are very strict at this resort!

Not for families

Nothing special about the room. Overpriced for what you get. View is amazing though. Rudest staff of any place we’ve ever stayed. Wrist bands required to go anywhere and were supposed to give you access to parking garage and gates. Never worked. Staff member stopped my 12 year old son whose wristband had broken off at the beach. Began yelling that it needs to be on his wrist, and when my son showed it to him he said he couldn’t be sure it belonged to him and wouldn’t let him past until I stepped in. Parking attendant refused to get up and help because wristband wasn’t working. Sat there and stared at us until the car behind us would run up and scan us in. Plan on 10 min elevator waits unless it’s “peak time” where we waited 20-30 minutes each time. Not a quick trip up nine flights of stairs with kids, coolers and bags. Beach and water littered with cans from all of the drinking, loud groups still at the pool after quiet time, fireworks every night around 2-3am. Definitely a party hotel. Would never recommend.

Overall stay was very nice. We had a great time and made lots of memories. The condo itself was amazing. Most beautiful view. Very spacious and had quick response from Vacation Life Properties. We did have to wash dishes before using them because there was food stuck on them but they had a great set up if you wanted to cook. Shores of Panama however… staff was not the friendliest at all. Water had to be shut off one morning to fix a water pipe but it wasn’t terrible. It could have been a whole lot worse. Overall we had an amazing time.

This was my first stay at the Shores and I can say without a doubt my last. The staff at the resort were all incredibly rude and very unfriendly. They took zero time to explain their pool band policy and in fact the lady who was working the “concierge” desk told exactly the opposite of what to do. The room location and ocean views were literally the only good thing about the stay. The floors were so dirty it looked like you took several laps around Walmart barefoot. There was no broom in the room so no way to sweep the sand. We ended up having to mop our own floors after the first night just to keep from wearing shoes in the room. The property owner Kept saying someone was coming to clean and they never showed. The sheets on the beds were dirty and mold was in the secondary master and the curtain in the master bathroom is hanging on by a couple rings. The owner has actually blocked access to the balcony from the master bedroom with a cheap desk and chair…not sure about the selling point on that. The ocean was great is all I have to say good about our stay.

Good place to stay

Just could make a few minor updates like the the fridge and dishwasher. The fridge had rust all over it and the freezer which was on the bottom was hard to open, had to pull really hard. Dishwasher the bottom drawer was same way and had some rust on outside. The pantry was full of someone else’s food so if we were going to be staying for like a whole week we wouldn’t have had that space to use. I bet there were 10 remotes to work TVs, dvd, cable boxes, none of them were in the right room or labeled correctly as to which tv they were for, not a big problem just had to take all the remotes to a room and see what worked the tv. Overall it was nice and I would stay again!

Great place for family

I liked the security at the garage and at the pool area. I also liked the coffee/doughnut/ice cream shop but their operating hours are random which I don’t like. Concierge is apparently the only person in the entire resort who is supposed to answer ANY question and their hours are limited and random. Great place for mature families, horseplay and loudness are greatly discouraged which is good for me

Great location

Could have been slightly cleaner, but the space and view are very nice. Property is in a great location for walking to near by attractions. Kind of long wait times for the elevators and the parking garage is bit of a nightmare to get in and out of. Overall the stay was great and would definitely stay again.

Very disappointed

We were very disappointed with this property. Upon arrival, we noticed dirt and trash on the floors, the refrigerator wasn't clean, the showers weren't clean, and I'm certain the bedsheets hadn't been cleaned since there was sand in the bed, along with dirt at the foot of the bed. There was black mold in the washing machine, the shower curtain in the master, and in the bathroom upfront. Dust everywhere, the vents, the window seals, under the front room bed, and on top of the refrigerator. There were loose screws on the floor in the front bedroom. This is a major concern for us, especially the black mold since we have a toddler. We had to go to the store to purchase the appropriate cleaning supplies to ensure things are cleaned as if we are staying here. Other things to keep in mind: You only get one parking pass on the floor you're staying on, so if you have two cars, it's best to not take that second car out during busy hours, or you will drive for a while to park. The elevator is going to be crazy most times, so go ahead and prepare for that. The front bedroom has a window but no beach view; you will only see a wall since the window is on the walkway where everyone passes. Lastly, one of the most disappointing things outside of the dirty, unkept unit is the lack of internet and cell service, this isn't advertised, but it was horrible. I couldn't access a connection to do basic things. Overall, the amount of money we paid for the unit was not justified. The property has been neglected. It would actually be nice if the owners kept the property clean and intact, but they have a very tight contract that only looks out for them (it makes me think they only care about the money). I encouraged you not to stay here. I felt cheated out of my vacation. They said they would refund me some of the cleaning fee, which isn't nothing to the amount we paid to stay in this "place". Hopefully, they follow through on that. I wish I had read the google reviews before I booked. I've never had this experience with VRBO. I hope you don't either.

The parking garage was a nightmare. It took 25 minutes to get up or down and was dangerous with oncoming traffic. I would definitely rather park outside it would be much safer

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM RESORT: The resort will be performing a multitude of improvements starting on 9/24/24 - 3/26/26. In general, these improvements will include the repair and replacement of the stucco fa ade at various areas, concrete repairs, sealant replacements, parking deck repairs, and a fresh coating. Noise levels may vary depending on the time of each arrival.

Please note:
We offer 4-night rentals Late May - Early August, with check in or check out on Saturday or Sunday. If you want a shorter length of time during this season,
please submit an inquiry.

We offer 5-night rentals Early March - Late April , with check in or check out on Saturday or Sunday. If you want a shorter length of time during this season, please submit an inquiry.

January and February are monthly rentals. If you want a shorter length of time during this season, please submit an inquiry. We accept a maximum of 2 weeks rentals from March-November. In the event of a special request, please contact Reservations directly.

Renter must be at least 21, and if not at least 25 years of age, an additional $500 security deposit and photo ID will be required that must be paid to the management company. This fee is refundable as long as the condo is left in the same condition and no damages or excessive cleaning is found.

Shores of Panama charges a separate resort fee not included in the total cost. You will pay this by a separate link that is provided before check in. You must register your vehicles in order to receive the Parking Pass with this Unit.
