Charming Relaxing Cottage on Sonoma Mountain

This quaint Penngrove cottage (once a horse stable) boasts gorgeous views of the countryside. We back up to a dairy farm and you can watch the cows, as well as deer, turkeys, foxes, and any number of birds (incl. owls) from the kitchen, living room or bedroom. The barn doors between the LR and BR add beauty and charm to the space.
The living room includes a cozy sofa bed for an extra guest. With heating, AC, and WiFi, guests can stay comfortable and connected. Our adorable property is perfect for short stays of up to 2 weeks with your four-leggeds.
There is a very comfortable queen bed in the bedroom and we have recently opened what used to be the "tack room" for guests to use as a reading, meditation or yoga room.
If you love coffee, you'll appreciate the espresso maker, french press and regular coffee makers (we are clearly coffee lovers!). Bring your own beans or enjoy the French Roast coffee we provide.
There is a nice sized fenced-in yard as well as a back field or nearly and acre to romp in. Additionally, there is a lovely 20-min loop on the road through the neighborhood and we are quite close to Crane Creek Regional Park and Taylor Mountain for those wanting longer hikes.
Please note, there are ticks in the area through much of the year but, in particular, just after a rain. Also, we have our own dogs and neighbor cats that roam the 2.5 acre property as well as goats and chickens so we ask that your dogs be on leash when they are outside of the cottage yard.
