Charming Ocean View Cottage - 2nd house back with direct access to Ferry Beach!

This traditional 1940's cottage is located just steps from Ferry Beach in Saco, ME.
You can literally hear the roar of the ocean and enjoy the scenic view of majestic Saco Bay, with views of Wood Island Lighthouse, House Island & Monument Island. Only steps to one of the only entrances to the beach. There is 7 miles of gorgeous sandy beaches to enjoy.
This is a non-smoking two bedroom cottage located in a family friendly, quiet neighborhood with views and sounds of the ocean from every room.
Top-ranked Ferry Beach State Park is just a short hike or quick drive away.

DirecTV and High-Speed Internet is included.
The kitchen is fully applianced and includes a dishwasher.
Washer and dryer are also included.
Update include all new Sealy mattresses and pillows with LINENSPA allergen barrier covers.
No bed linens are provided, but bath and beach towels are included.

We Enjoyed our stay at Lovely this beach home, only steps from the beach!

We were all very immediately impressed upon arrival with the, cleanliness, décor, and everything that was available to us. The quant neighborhood of homes on the private road and only steps to the beach, definitely recommend this summer rental!

Ocean getaway.

We had a great time. Weather was perfect. It was very quiet and peaceful, except for the lovely sounds of the surf. Very well appointed. The children loved having bikes to use and were able to ride safely. I would stay there again.

Beautiful home

My husband and I had a wonderful week. This home is so well cared for, clean and the hosts have thought of everything one could possibly need. The breeze off the ocean coming through the windows and the sound of the waves is sublime. We hope to return soon! Thank you to Cathy and Gordon for sharing their little slice of heaven.

Lovely cottage! Wonderful hosts! Amazing location!

Just spent a blissfully relaxing week at this beautiful cottage! The owners couldn’t have been more welcoming, the property was larger than we expected, was so clean and decorated so beautifully. The owners provided everything you could possibly need for a week at the beach!! You just can’t beat the location as the beach is steps away. Being able to take my dog was a huge plus and the neighborhood was quiet and dog friendly. We’re truly hoping to make this our July get-away every summer! Thank you so much for sharing this with us Gordon and Cathy!!

Retreat

Felt like home, a nice alternative to work from home. Cozy, comfortable, well appointed, attention to detail, that make all the difference when renting a home. Great communication with Gordon, sincere in wishing us a great stay. Weather was perfect!, having the beach so close meant I could take the dog for more walks. Very peaceful just what we were looking for in an alternative to working from home. Sad it was only one week! Thank You!

A Perfect Autumn Escape

I didn't want to leave. The cottage is very comfortable, well equipped, and very clean. And I haven't slept this well since the pandemic began. The bed was so comfy and being able to hear the sea while falling asleep was so relaxing. The living room with all its windows was bright and there were glimpses of the water. Lovely to sit and read. And as nice as the cottage is, the location is the real star. less than a minute walk to the beach, which is dog friendly. I sat for long periods just watching the water while my little dog raced around.

Beach getaway in Autumn

This is a sweet little cottage. My dog and I were really comfortable. We took walks on the beach & through the woods in “Ferry Beach State Park”. The surf was wild & wonderful to watch. You can even watch it with your coffee in bed. We had friends to visit and I enjoyed cooking in little kitchen. There was everything I needed to prepare meals: blender, electric beater, whisk & assorted pots & pans. It was a comfortable, elegant spot. I recommend it to soothe your soul. Sheri

A Piece of Paradise!

We totally enjoyed our stay! The property was very comfortable, well supplied and just steps from the beach. Cathy and Gordon were quick to answer any questions we had as we prepared for our stay. We look forward spending time there again.

A lovely vacation

My husband and I just returned from a beautiful week at Gordon and Cathy’s cottage. It is on a quiet, peaceful road that leads right to the beach. Listening to the waves was so relaxing, especially at night as we fell asleep. The house has all the comforts of home, is clean, and well cared for. Lots of windows to let the sunshine and fresh air in. Well stocked kitchen, bikes, beach chairs, everything we needed. It was all we could have hoped for and more for our week away. Gordon and Cathy are very kind, responsive and accommodating. It’s in a fun and convenient spot to explore the area. We’re already planning our next trip. Thank you, Cathy and Gordon.

We can’t say enough about this property - it was perfect! This cottage is charming and immaculately kept. The owners provide every possible amenity needed for a relaxing beach vacation and were easy to communicate with. The setting was ideal with easy access to the beach. Restful Seashore Retreat

The cottage was cozy and neat as a pin. Just steps from the beach, a wonderful surprise was being able to hear the ocean waves breaking on the beach as we settled into bed. What a great way to rest well! Our weather was crummy, which couldn't be helped, but the little cottage was just what we hoped it would be.

Nothing but wonderful

Cathy and Gordon were excellent hosts. A beautiful cottage waited for us with steps from the beach. The house was clean and organized so well it truly was designed to feel like a home away from home. We appreciated the stay and would highly recommend for a relaxing week.

Beach get away

Sweet little cottage. Some family came for a visit on Sunday. We sat out on the deck & could comfortably distance with 6 people. The rest of the week we had lots of beach walks & also walks at Ferry beach park. The kitchen was well appointed.....so really good for cooking. My sister & I worked on a jigsaw puzzle all week....alas, didn’t complete it. Our visit was lovely.

Great location with everything you need

The cottage was literally steps to the beach (we walked by one house to get there). This location is also convenient to Old Orchard (check out the trolley) as well as Saco/Biddeford which had a good brewery (Banded Brewing). The neighborhood is very quiet and it was a great stretch of beach. The house really did have everything we needed from beach chairs, umbrellas, washer/dryer, a grill, and more. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect Vacation Cottage

We enjoyed our first year at Eddie's Aerie so much that we came back for a second stay. The lovely cottage is cozy, comfortable, well-stocked, filled with light and perfectly located at sweet Ferry Beach. Cathy and Gordon are gracious hosts and have created a memorable beach experience. Great Stay During the 4th

The property is just as appears online! It is one block from the beach and is such a great area. What sold us on this house was the proximity to the beach and the cleanliness. The place is clean, well cared for, and has everything you need. Cathy and Gordon had excellent communication and were super nice. The cottage itself is laid out well so it feels bigger than it is. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience at Eddy's Aerie. The cottage itself was charming, cozy and comfortable, made so by the many thoughtful touches evident throughout the home. The kitchen was filled with just about anything you would need to cook whatever you want. The location was ideal...only one house away from the beach. We loved being able to walk to the beach anytime of the day or night. Equally important, the owners, Cathy and Gordon, were gracious and offered a prompt response in all communication. Check in was very easy. Cathy offered excellent suggestions regarding places to eat. We highly recommend this property for a stay. My husband and I were very comfortable and the cottage easily accommodated the addition of our two daughters for a weekend. Lovely cottage; great location; responsive, gracious owners.
