J.T. founded Blue Chariot in 2015 with the goal of transforming neighborhoods one house at a time — by rehabbing distressed homes into rental properties. And now with over 3-dozen such projects completed, Pine Forest Hideaway highlights J.T.'s and Blue Chariot's venture into short / mid-term and vacation rentals — with more to come!

Pine Forest Hideaway is no ordinary property... It is an example of taking what was old and distressed and making it new and wonderful again. This property sat vacant for over a decade before J.T. bought it — to transition it from a former hoarder house to what is now a pristine short or mid-term / vacation rental. To that end, nearly EVERYTHING IS NEW — which goes along perfectly with just how well located this property is in Chapel Hill by Jordan Lake — and just how much you're going to LOVE what we've done with it! And we've got more coming for this property, but just as it is now (which is really nice by the way) — you'll really enjoy staying here!
O que faz essa propriedade ser única?
The House at Pine Forest Hideaway has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 6 comfortably. The main bedroom has a split-king adjustable bed (sleeps 2). The 2nd bedroom has a full sized adjustable bed (sleeps 2). And the 3rd bedroom has twin bunk beds (sleeps 2) — that work for adults, but best for kids. There's also a bonus room that can support an air mattress or two — but the maximum occupancy here is 8 (we'd prefer no one sleeps on the couches). The House features real hardwood and tile flooring throughout (NO carpet). It has double fans in the living room. The updates here are modern, with matte black and wood accent fixtures, along with black stainless steel appliances and a motion activated kitchen sink faucet. Heat and air is controlled by a Google Nest Thermostat. There are 65" Samsung Smart-TV's in the living room and main bedroom. The internet connection is 300MB AT&T Fiber that is shared with The Guesthouse.
The exterior has ample lighting, including some that are motion activated to light your way outside (it gets pretty dark out there). But when you step outside, the night sounds (crickets and frogs) are loud and peaceful. During the day, you're certain to see squirrels, but maybe also a few deer and lots of birds. Its a nature lover's paradise! If you wish to go for a night walk, there are florescent safety vests in the first kitchen drawer to the left of the coffee maker (so that you can be seen from cars, as again, it gets dark out there). There are also pet waste bags in that same drawer.
You'll find everything you'll need inside. All your glassware and utensils, pots / pans, etc... are in the cabinets and drawers. There is a toaster, Keurig coffee maker, a variety of different K-cups (coffee and tea), cream / sugar — and more... We've tried to think of everything.
Towels, wash cloths and a hair dryer are in the upstairs bathroom(s) - as is a first aid kit. Extra pillows, linens and an iron / ironing board are found in the upstairs closets.
