Private Home In Gated Community

Private home in a gated community with pool. 4 bedrooms, two baths. Sleeps at least 8. Newly renovated in spring of 2018 with complete interior painting and carpets replaced with beautiful tile.
Our home is amidst world class attractions such as hiking on countless breathtaking trails for all fitness levels, incredible opportunities for golfers, pleasant shopping in commercial plazas, farmers markets, and a variety of local and national chain stores. Also nearby are historical sites of interest to all ages, the Sonoran Desert Museum, Wildlife Museum, Old Tucson Studios, Titan Missile Museum, Biosphere 2, Tucson Zoo, Air and Space Museum, the University of Arizona, and much more.
Communities in Oro Valley are well planned without overdevelopment. Each neighborhood is carefully placed within the natural desert environment creating a pleasant experience just walking around. Our home is less than ten minutes from the Coronado National Forest and Catalina State Park.
We find Oro Valley to be one of the best winter get-away spots. Each day December thru May is like the best of summer days back east. One can always depend on dry air and sunshine. When we sit poolside in our backyard we feel like we are at a resort. The pool is wonderful, surrounded by plenty of natural desert landscaping. We especially enjoy how quiet the neighborhood is, the wonderful people we meet, and how the sky is dark and clear at night.

100 mbps package WIFI is provided by century link. Roku is provided but no other TV services. Feel free to bring your own streaming services.

Pool was great and fireplace was a hit along with farkle. Wonderful neighborhood and location.

Very comfortable close to hiking trails We went to honeybee trail and we played pickle ball at the Community Center, Sabino Canyon and saguaro. Wonderful vacation. Seis kitchen and Blanco and of course In-N-Out :-) Thank you so much.

Family Christmas Vacation

Lovely home in Oro Valley. Everything you need for a fun relaxing stay. Exceptional hosts who are very responsive to any and every question. Plus, the neighbor, Jimmy Coyote who is the nicest man you ever want to meet!! 10 stars!!

Springtime in the Valley of Gold (Oro)

The location of the house is deep in a very peaceful and quiet part of the valley which made for some spectacular star gazing. The layout of the house was ideal and you could get early morning sun out front and then all afternoon in the yard. The weather was not as warm as we had hoped it would be so we spent a fair amount of time with the gas fire insert rolling which created coziness and relaxation for us while indoors.

Thank you so much Dan for sharing your lovely home with our family. We'd never been to the Tucson area but cannot wait to return - we hope that when we do, your home will be available. We already miss our morning coffee by your beautiful pool and our own private park. Your home had everything we needed; comfortable furniture and beds, great outdoor furniture for lounging or eating, fully stocked kitchen - everything was so clean and fresh. Outstanding in every way. We are a seasoned HomeAway / VRBO family and your home offered us something that we've never experienced but highly value - Jimmy Coyote! Having Jimmy and his lovely wife Marcia in the neighborhood just in case we needed advice or a new light bulb is a huge added comfort - thank you Jimmy! Anyone looking for an Arizona vacation should not pass up this property. You're conveniently located to several state parks, the beautiful desert and an endless supply of great restaurants. The home is in a gated, quiet community where people wave and say hello. I fantasized about retirement the entire week. Thank you again!

Wonderful venue

The home is as pictured and presented, comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The pool is lovely, the neighborhood exceptionally quiet, the owners very responsive. Check in was facilitated by the 'mayor,' Jimmy Coyote, with fresh grapefruit and lemons to welcome us. A terrific stay, we would gladly return again.

A good place for a family

The house was spacious allowing plenty of room for my family. The added bonus of having a pool allowed for family fun. It is in a nice neighborhood. With a grocery store just a few miles down the road.

Clean, comfortable, great neigbborhood

We enjoyed everything. Its a beautiful property. The house is well stocked. Loved the pool and covered patio. We had a miscommunication about televisions, only one in the family room works, not the bedrooms. Overall, a great experience.

Perfect stay!

You will not find a more gracious host, or a more perfectly appointed home for your holiday. Dan was absolutely wonderful, and always available for any questions we had. His home is beautiful, CLEAN, and leaves you wanting for nothing. All amenities are present, and the pool was a beautiful oasis for us. Look no further if you want a worry free, clean, cozy, relaxing environment for your next stay in the Tucson area.

Beautiful house in a great location

We had a great 8 days staying here. The pool being heated to 84 everyday was awesome (slight extra cost for doing this). House was very clean and had everything we wanted. If you want to do some hiking this house is in a great location to several state parks, national forests, and a national park as well as honey bee trail is in its back yard.

Good place to stay.

The house is in a quiet, gated community which is nice. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The shower head in the second bathroom didn’t spray well, but since that is my only complaint it is a good place to stay.

Relaxing Oro Valley Home

This was the second year we stayed at this nicely appointed home in Oro Valley for an early April getaway from (still) winter in Wisconsin. Stage was set for a relaxing time. We loved being able to wake up, make coffee, read and enjoy the patio and morning sun by our private heated pool. Played tennis near-daily at the nearby Hohokum Park (with walking trails, playground, park and dog run). Plenty of other hiking and nature in the area, quiet well-kept neighborhood, yet close to grocery, convenience stores, eateries and local attractions, including Tucson and plenty of golf courses. Lots of helpful info in the home for attractions, eats, etc. in the area. Comfortable bedrooms (didn't need the heat nor the A/C the entire trip!), well-equipped kitchen, laundry, family area and even living/dining room (the latter nicely tiled since our last visit). We came to unplug, enjoy outdoor exercise and visit family, and this home made for a carefree week (which was too short- stay longer if you can). Owners are pleasant, responsive and accommodating, ensured our stay was satisfying, certainly a factor in our return. We look forward to another stay in the future, thank you!

Great stay!

We travelled with our parents and our 6 month old son in February and had a lovely time at Dan's place. He purchased a playpen for us, had someone great us when we arrived and had the place all stocked for our stay! We enjoyed the heated pool and the area was good for walks. We would definitely recommend this place and hopefully come back for another family trip!

An overall good experience. The home is lovely and contains all one would need and the owners are most accommodating including the manager who lives across the street. We were there for a week and had no issues. The location is very pleasant and was particularly convenient to us for biking and also for access to the parks where there was very good hiking. Would recommend.

We and I live in central New York State on a small hobby farm. I (Dan) work in the piano industry and Margaret works in natural resources conservation. We enjoy vacationing in sunny Arizona when we have the chance to get away. We own two homes in Oro Valley, AZ which we enjoy visiting and renting to guests. We recognize southern AZ as a great place to go to relax, hike, enjoy fresh food, and meet up with friends. We especially enjoy all the happy people we meet here. And then, there is the weather!

This house is our main home where we stay when in Oro Valley. It is in an quiet neighborhood filled with wonderful people and great mountain views. The house fully equipped with all the amenities of home. The backyard area is a desert oasis with a heated pool, that provides a resort feel for a relaxing vacation.
