Beautiful Completely Renovated 3 Bed 2 Bath Non-Smoking Home with Water Views

Completely renovated from top to bottom, this home includes an amazing lower and upper porch with Trex® decking. The lower porch is completely covered so you can enjoy the views of the water even in the rain! Walk out from the master bedroom through the 10 ft. sliding glass doors to the second-floor porch which has breathtaking views of the water. Enter the house through the magnificent red beveled doors (red doors meaning Luck and a safe stop for travelers). The open floor plan, hardwood floors, granite kitchen counters and soft gray colors make the house warm and inviting. You can leave a different message every day or any reminders on the kitchen's chalk board door. There is a full bathroom on the first floor with a stacked washer/dryer for your convenience. The glass French doors open up to the back deck and grassy area with plenty of room to throw a ball or have a barbecue. The second floor has three bedrooms and a full bathroom. The middle bedroom has a twin bed with another twin bed stowed away under it for extra sleeping space. The master bedroom is very spacious with a huge closet area (and of course access to your own porch). The yard is completely fenced in and all renters have access to the private beach which is just blocks away. You will not be disappointed with this incredible house in a charming seaside community.

As described. Good communication from our hosts. Things went smoothly. We were comfortable.

Had to provide basic details about our trip and the people who would be staying. We also mentioned we’d be having so guests for dinner, so expectations were clear upfront. Everything in the rental worked and we were comfortable and had a good experience.

Girls Week at the Beach

We loved Jim's place. It was clean, comfortable and modern. We loved the keyless entry, so easy! Plenty of extra sheets, pillows and blankets. Lots of nice touches like Kleenex, dish/laundry soap, some spices, paper plates etc. We were a 15- minute drive or less to several beaches. Tons of great restaurants nearby. We walked to the end of the street to fabulous sunsets. The outdoor space was great, we used the brand new grill for dinner and really enjoyed hanging out. We would definitely recommend Jim's place and would stay here again.

Family vacations made easy and comfortable

The location was great, the rooms were well-outfitted and comfortable. And we even used the grill! We enjoyed the welcome message and information binder! It was great to walk down the street to the water and around several corners to the beach. A very hospitable place

Wedding Weekend Getaway

We were in town for a family wedding and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. Outdoor spaces including the grill in the back yard, seating on the back deck, and the front balcony rocker got lots of use, despite not-so-good weather. The house is beautifully renovated and the first floor layout is perfect for socializing, being able to prep food, cook, and clean up while still being with guests. It was very convenient to have a second full bath on the first floor. And the sofa bed let our daughters spread out a little (the twin bedroom is kind of tight with both beds in use.) We highly recommend this house, and its very responsive owners, and would definitely opt to stay here again. Thanks, Jim, for everything.

Adorable spot by the water

We really enjoyed our stay at Jim and Audrey's. They were accommodating hosts and the house was clean and well located to the water in a beautiful neighborhood. The beds in the rooms could probably use mattress pads, but overall we felt the house was very comfortable.

Nice property and location.

Nice updated property close to the water in Milford. Jim responded very quickly to our questions. I was with my three teenagers and we had plenty of space. Quiet neighborhood and nicely updated interior. Great stay visiting family.

Wonderful Stay!

My family and I had a wonderful stay in this clean, comfortable home. Updated and comfortable furnishings. Everything we needed was provided. Enjoyed the view from the upstairs balcony. Short walk to the beach and a brief drive to other nearby attractions. Owner was very responsive to my questions. Would absolutely come back.

Great place!

Wonderful updated 3 bedroom. Tasteful and comfortable furnishings. Beds very comfortable. Immaculate condition. Lovely yard, front porch and balcony. Short stroll to the very rocky beach. Other beaches are a short drive. On a charming street lined with other upgraded homes. Area shows pride of ownership. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommended.

Very Nice Beach House

I rented this house for 3 months with my best friend. We loved the space and all of the windows! I sat by the water frequently. I loved that the TV can be turned for viewing in the living room or kitchen. The neighbors were friendly. I would definitely rent again!

Amazing place and a real bargain!!

This is a fantastic property!! It was clean, had great amenities, and a block from the ocean! It is also reasonably priced. We paid the same amount of money to rent this property as we did to stay in a hotel for a week!! Amazing!! It is kid friendly, too!! We had our two grandsons with us, ages 9 and 7. They loved the house as much as we did!!! We will stay here again!! Thank you, Jim and Audrey!!

Wonderful Beach House

We just stayed at the property as a family for almost a week and loved it. The house is very nice and in a great location just steps from the beach. It is in a quiet neighborhood, is very comfortable, and has everything needed. Jim and Audrey were also wonderful hosts. We plan on staying there again if we are back in the area and we would recommend it to everyone!

A true beach cottage retreat

A wonderfully clean and bright cottage 5 houses away from water's edge... At the end of the street is a lookout facing sunsets on the Long Island Sound, and within a 5 minute walk, the little sandy Point Beach provides friendly access for swimming and kayaking. The house is impeccable, well laid out for a couple or for a family with children, with a large open floor plan at the main level and 3 well sized bedrooms upstairs. The neighborhood is quiet and bike friendly, and feels like a small resort by the sea. We came for a high school graduation, and were so pleased to have chosen Jim and Audrey's house over any of the local hotels. We would definitely check if the place is available for our next family visit. My wife and I give this home 5 stars. Herve & Marlene (6-11 to 6-16-2018)

Beautiful home!

We had a wonderful stay in Milford! The home was lovely, modern and very comfortable. There were all the comforts of home, in fact!! The kitchen and baths were well stocked with the necessities. The "extras" including beach towels, beach mats and snacks were an added bonus! Jim and Audrey, we truly enjoyed and appreciated your lovely home!

Lovely home by the water

The owner Jim is a great communicator. My family and I had a great time staying in this home. The decor is fresh and inviting. The two full bathroom were great for my large family and everyone was able to have hot water. This house is a short walk to Point Beach so we walked over there to check it out. They also have board games provided; so one night we played Monopoly and had so much fun. This will be a vacation my family will remember.

Great spot with everything we needed for a comfortable stay!

The home was bright & very welcoming! We enjoyed walking East to one of the private beach accesses to watch the sunrise. A short walk west for sand & getting in the water was also nice. Thanks for having us, we'd stay here again!

Perfect accommodations and a wonderful town.

Our family of five stayed in this lovely home for six nights. The house was exactly what you would want for a vacation home. The walk to the beach is steps away. The home has been entirely renovated and is quite user friendly. We watched movies, played games, cooked many meals and relaxed quite comfortably inside. The bedrooms and beds were spacious and comfortable; the backyard is large enough to play catch. The neighbors are friendly and the town was awesome. We found gem after gem for restaurants. The owners were attentive and left nice welcoming touches. We took the train to NYC from the Milford station and took a ferry to Long Island. We came to Connecticut to visit family but would seriously consider coming back to this town and this home even if there was no family to visit.

The house was beautiful and a must see!

Great experience. The owner was so committed to making sure we had a great time. Every accommodation was brand new and any question answered immediately. As someone completely foreign to the area it was like having a personal guide. Greatly enjoyed our stay and would recommend for anyone looking into the area.

Bright, clean, coastal retreat

My husband and I had the pleasure of being the first to stay! We enjoyed every day and night we spent here. Great views from upstairs and downstairs decks. Hosted many get togethers with family and found it perfect for entertaining with the open kitchen and private back deck. Steps to beach, 2 mile bike ride downtown to great restaurants and shopping. Owners are accommodating, kind, and professional. Neighborhood is safe and friendly. Pictures don't do it justice! Thanks for the memories.

As water lovers ourselves, we always wanted to own a house on or near the water. Buying and renovating this house has made it possible to get closer to our dream. We renovated this house with the intention to one day live there and hopefully we will be able to do it soon. For the mean time, we hope that our guests love and enjoy this house as much as we do.

We were looking for a home in a seaside area. We wanted a community that had both charm and easy water access. We found it in the Point Beach area of Milford. Very friendly neighbors, beautiful views and just a pleasant, safe area. We knew as soon as we could find a house, this is where we wanted to be.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

When we found this house, we saw all the potential that it had. We took it down to the studs and added elements that was part of the dream. We splurged on certain parts to make it more fabulous including the amazing front door, the lower and upper porches, the granite counter tops, hardwood floors and just the overall flow of the house.
