Fountainhead Condo #4, located at 3402 6th Avenue in Holmes Beach only a few steps from the beautiful beaches and emerald green water of the Gulf. This eight unit complex has a heated pool and laundry room on site.
This unit is beautifully furnished and well equipped for your enjoyment. This two bedroom, two bath townhouse will sleep four with a queen size bed in one bedroom and two twin beds in the second bedroom. There are three separate lanais off the living room and both bedrooms. This 3-story townhouse offers every amenity to make your stay memorable.
There is a 27ā€ television in the living as well as a 20ā€ television in the master bedroom.

Fountainhead 4 is a one week minimum rental.
Parking is limited to two vehicles.
Not pet friendly
Condo not suitable for electric vehicles or electric golf carts.

We loved the location of this condo! Just steps from the beach, and very quiet area. The condo was clean and comfortable. Only one negative for us was the musty smell and the slightly dirty carpeting. We enjoyed our stay!

Would stay again

The location was perfect, the units are nice, they take care of the property regularly outside and around the pool, but the cleaners could do a better job prior to arrival. There were a few minor issues; loose cabinets and such. There were some flying bugs, but its Florida there are lots of bugs, and they tried to take care of the issue. Overall, would stay again.

Vacation

Fountainhead Condo #4 was good location for our family vacation. The price, amenities, and location were fantastic. The condo was in walking distance to the beach and had a pool onsite as well. Itā€™s nice having a townhouse for a beach vacation and being able to completely separate the sleep area and the social area. Two downsides to our stay. The first was the construction being done to the railings throughout the entire property during our entire stay. There was debris everywhere, loud music being played by the workers and when we would come and go, the workers looked at us like an inconvenience and that we were getting in their way. The second was when the Florida Health Dept. closed the pool midweek due to a code violation. They placed a sign at the entrance one morning and within 5hrs the sign was gone. That was a bit odd. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.

Rating Details: The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location we biked a lot. The unit needs a bit of TLC. Might want to complete the tile floor project. Please replace the carpet. I usually take off my shoes when I enter a home. In this case I used a pair of flip flops while inside.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental is a fantastic location! Close walking distance to the beach that my family with three little kids made multiple times a day. The two four plexes are making improvements which is much needed. This unit is great overall! Enough space, lots of closets, super close to the pool! It desperately needs a new pan set as the one there is unusable. The queen bedroom mattress is hard as a rock. Even a mattress topper would improve it! The twin beds are much more comfortable. The living room slider is almost impossible to open and shut and is rotting all around the frame. The shared bathroom by the pool was very dirty and the toilet was leaking when used. With all that being said we would consider staying again but if these updates were made it would be a no brainer! The pool was very very warm! Everything was cleaned well and the starter pack of items was nice too. I talked with other owners of the Fountainhead units and they all are making updates which is great to here! Overall pretty happy with our stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: WE ARRIVED MID-WEEK FOR A COUPLE NIGHTS ON THE ISLAND TO ENJOY THE BEACH. UNFORTUNATELY THE CONDO WE ORIGINALLY RENTED WAS NOT AVAILABLE AND WE WERE TOLD WE WOULD BE UPGRADED TO A DIFFERENT CONDO - THIS ONE. IT WAS VERY CLEAN, HAD WHAT WE NEEDED FOR COOKING AND WAS A SHORT WALK TO THE BEACH. IT WAS EQUIPED WITH BEACH CHAIRS AND BEACH TOWELS WHICH WERE VERY NICE. THE ONLY DOWNFALL WAS THE AMOUNT OF STAIRS TO GET UP TO THE CONDO - WITH RAIN WERE A LITTLE SLICK. ONE OF US HAS RECENTLY HAD KNEE REPLACEMENT SURGERY SO THE STAIRS WERE CHALLENGING (FIRST PLACE WAS ON THE FIRST FLOOR). OVERALL A GREAT PLACE TO STAY

We enjoyed our stay but would not consider rebooking this particular unit. We are aware of the high demand for properties on Anna Maria Island, but the owners need to reconsider the Property Manager they are using. Beds, A/C and pool were excellent. However, only basic services were offered, and we felt it was unreasonable to expect us to wash our own towels, in the pay w/d, when staying 2 weeks. When we pressed they delivered sheets, to change ourselves, for the second week. The kitchen needs attention since some small appliances are in need of repair and pots and pans are dirty and inferior.

There were plenty of beds to fit our family. The condo couldā€™ve been a bit cleaner and was missing some kitchen items (cutting boards, more than 2 matching glass cups). There were a few minor issues such as the wrong check in code and no beach equipment but the property management was very helpful in resolving it quickly!

Additionally, the condo was super close to the grocery store, drugstore and liquor store, restaurants and ice cream shops. The condo itself was spacious. Some of the silverware in the drawer was not clean. The pool was nice and warm, and never over crowded. Our only complaints would be lack of ā€œextraā€ blankets and pillows and the beds and sheets being uncomfortable. Iā€™m not overly particular when it comes to mattresses but the mattress in this condo was much too firm, and the sheets were like sandpaper. Also there is a laundry facility but you have to pay $3 per load to wash/dry clothes. Also we had rented a golf cart for the week and had there been other golf carts at the facility we only found 1 plug in to use and that was in the laundry room.

We have previously stayed in condos 3 and 7 and this was our first stay in condo 4. Compared to the others we found it to be in need of an upgrade. While adequate for our needs both the tile floors and kitchen cabinets were clearly worn and tired. Could use an upgrade. The main bathtub was in need of a complete cleaning and it did not drain well.

We would definitely stay here again. The interior was a little more dated than some condos we have stayed in and the upstairs is carpet. But it was none the less very clean, so nothing wrong with it not being to the most modern standard. The railings were a little loose, which the rental company has been in the process of fixing, but we made sure to stay back from them.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the location was wonderful, the actual condo was not. The main complaint I have is the safety issue at the balconies. The railing is very very flimsy and super scary. I went and barely leaned on it and got so scared at how flimsy it was. I immediately called and let the company know. I hope it gets fixed quickly. Especially the main one off the living room, super rusted support and extremely shaky. I could not allow my kids any access to the balconies due to the safety. The kitchen supplies were minimal at best, what a mess in the drawers, absolutely nothing was organized. Could use a spruce up with the kitchen supplies. Also, the worst was that we found multiple dirty plates, bowls, silverware in the drawers and cabinets. I had to wash what we would use before using it. Very junky. The cleanliness was not up to par at all upon arrival, dirty bath mats, dirty mat at the living room, dirty utensils. Dirty coffee maker, dirty fridge with sticky stuff in it, crumbs in drawers. I cleaned what I could as I was putting my food away, but I had to call immediately upon arrival for a cleaning, the floors looked like they were never cleaned prior to our arrival. The whole unit needs a serious update, from carpet to kitchen supplies. The shower door in the upstairs bathroom doesn't work well and comes unhung, leaving some black residue in the tub. The water pressure is next to nothing in the same shower. The public bathroom downstairs by the pool was so dirty and smelly, we couldn't use it. The laundry room was dirty as well, made me not wash laundry all week and took it all home dirty instead. It was that bad. The pool, however, was sparkling clean and awesome. My kids enjoyed that very much. Overall, this unit could be totally amazing, with some updates. The carpets have to go, especially at the beach. Kitchen supplies need major updating as well. Location is top notch though, no complaints there.

The condo is lovely, very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is super convenient - very close to the beach, as well as all the essentials in terms of groceries, pharmacy, ice cream, beach rentals, etc. There were lots of little touches that made things so easy - keyless entry, parking, a well stocked kitchen (even with things like garbage bags and dish soap), laundry on site was easy. We found things clean, safe, and there seemed to only be one other family in the building so we basically had the pool to ourself. Loved it, can't wait to come back!

Great time!

We had a great time. Loved the location and the pool was wonderful. The condo was extremely clean, linens all fresh and crisp. The bath throw rugs were in need of laundering and the couch and chair covers could use a wash, but again everything extremely clean except those minor things.

Pictures did not depict accuracy of rooms. Furniture were difficult to sit on (iron) and beds were low to the ground and mattresses hard to sleep on. This made out 7 night stay miserable. About 100 yards away from the beach not mere steps.
