Absolutely the best kept secret in Kihei. Kihei garden estates is only a 20 minute drive from Kahului (OGG) airport. Situated in the heart of Kihei, this condo is the end unit allowing for perfect Hawaiian breezes to flow throughout. Enjoy the spacious lanai overlooking the pool, hot tub and pavilion. Beach access is half a block away where you can drink your coffee and watch the sunrise on those peaceful morning walks. Restaurants, shops, and fitness center is only a short walk away. Kihei garden estates is situated directly behind Times Market (grocery store) making those meal decisions effortless.

Our upscale condo has just been completely remodeled with the best of everything. The entire condo was redesigned from cabinetry, tile floors, granite counter tops, lights, fixtures, and stainless steel appliances. Including, all beds and pillows with dust mite and bed bug mattress protection encasement, linens, curtains, towels, and furniture.

Great Family Trip

We had a great family trip. The condo was very clean and was set up with everything we needed for the week. The condo grounds were very well maintained, and the pool was cleaned every morning. It is a great location quiet at night and we felt completely safe walking around at night. The beach was only a minute walk. It was a great time!! We highly recommend!

Nicely appointed condo in excellent complex

Everything was exactly as advertised with appliances and beach chairs like new. The updated decor makes this condo more modern. The owners were helpful and responsive.

Family Vacation

Had a fantastic time at this lovely condo. It was exactly what we needed. Close to the beach and shops, but not on the main drag. It was very clean and beds were comfortable. Appreciated that there was a cooler for trips to the beach. The only recommendation I would have is that a few staples (like salt, pepper and sugar) be available and more than three rolls of toilet paper for a 7 night stay. Thank you, we would come back!

All was well. Great location for travel around Maui, stores, gas station. Community pool free to all. The only thing was the sliding door was a bit tough to move. Just needs to be looked at, but all else was great!

Great location for our family

We had a great experience at this property in Kihei. It’s a great location. Steps from the pool. A block from the beach. A short walk to the grocery store, coffee shops, food trucks, and a number of shops and restaurants. Our kids (3 and 5) had the best time and the condo had everything we needed. The AC was definitely essential during the day, although it didn’t reach the bedrooms very well. But we loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location, awesome condo

This condo was in the perfect location on Maui. There is a beach right next to the condo which was so empty that it felt like it was our own private beach! We were able to take some long walks to the popular beaches, restaurants, and bars of Kihei. The condo also is very central for driving to see the other areas on the island. The condo itself is nicely updated and was the perfect size for two couples. The lanai is quite large and overlooks the pool and the palm trees - wonderful for a morning cup of coffee! If we return to Maui, we will definitely book this condo again! Thanks, DJ!

Beautiful Condo in a Great location!

The condo truly was what was described and exceeded our expectations, as It was VERY clean with comfortable bedding, furniture and a fully functional kitchen. Everything we needed for the beach was also available. The Host also provided great information prior to our arrival, and the condo guestbook was full of helpful information. As the condo complex rules state that you cannot hang items out on the lanai, an indoor clothes rack (that could have been used in the shower) would have been useful for our swimsuits and both indoor and beach towels, as we were a family of four. Besides that one detail, we would definitely choose to stay at this condo again as it was quiet and in a great location, across the road from the beach and stores etc. This was our first time in Hawaii, and the condo itself did make our overall experience a positive one. No issues at all.

Great for an active family vacation!

We were first time visitors to Hawaii, and I'm so glad we stayed in Kihei. It felt much less commercial over there, and our beach felt more private. The shops seem a little less pricey, and the restaurants not so hard to get into. The condo was a good choice for our active vacation - we often left by 6 or 7 a.m. and didn't return until 8-10 p.m. We were out all day, every day, actively enjoying the island. We really liked having a kitchen, and the Supermarket Times is RIGHT around the corner, so we bought breakfast and lunch stuff to help keep the costs down. We ended up going to that supermarket for one reason or another almost every day, so we were so glad it was close. I did a load of laundry every night in the on-site facilities, and that was so helpful for keeping the sand down. We didn't use the pool or hot tub, there was a huge group of what seemed like college aged kids who had it completely taken over every night, but we were fine with that because we didn't book this trip to swim in a pool. :) Our faucet didn't work for the first three days of our trip, which was definitely inconvenient, but the owner was responsive and tried to get a plumber out there as quickly as he could. There was a huge storm early in the week, so the plumber was busy taking care of damage from the storm. The mattresses are old and uncomfortable, the bedding is really old and tattered, and things weren't super clean at checkin - something sticky on the counter, and hairs in the sheets. However, it gets SO sandy (even though we tried to be neat), and I don't envy the job of having to turn those places over for new guests, as I'm sure it's a more intensive cleaning process than other places have to deal with. If I was going for a romantic trip, I would have wanted more comfortable accommodations, but this place was good for what we needed. I'd definitely stay in Kihei again over other places on Maui - I bookmarked multiple places around ours!

Would Sleep Here Again

Perfect spot in Kihei. Close to great beaches. Property was much better than others we've seen. The house had everything you could need. The beach directly west of the property has more than 10 turtles that crawl out of the beach every sunset.

100% as advertised. Everything that was needed for a fun holiday was provided, and more! the beach a half block away was fantastic for sunsets and swimming. All around a fantastic family oriented property and I highly recommend. Correy

Proximity to every day necessity’s, beaches and a pool were wonderful.

We appreciated and enjoyed the modern appliances and furnishings. Everything was clean and many of the little things that are sometimes left out were included without advertising, much appreciated. As with the condo grounds and parking are very well kept and maintained.

Nice place

GREAT location, nice condo! I only wish I'd paid attention to a) small master bed and b) stand-alone A/C unit. Otherwise the place was great, loved hanging out on the balcony with my Kona coffee every morning, we loved the pool, easy beach access, easy access to the island and so many fun things to do!! Thank you!

Lovely, well equipped unit

Our family of four spent 10 days at this unit and would certainly book again. All the amenities were at hand and in great condition. There is a grocery store less than a block away as well as a great open air restaurant. The owners are excellent communicators and very easy to deal with. Two thumbs up!!

Very good location: close to very good beach, supermarkets ,yet quiet. Excellent pool and good hot tub. Grounds well maintained by friendly staff. Clean but pictures a bit deceiving regarding size. Overhead fans do a good job of maintaining airflow and keeping the unit comfortable. Lighting for comfortable reading at night barely adequate. Overall fairly good value

Great value!

Donna's Kihei condo had every amenity we could ask for! A few minutes walk to the beach, literally next door to the super market, spacious and well decorated, and lots of towels and beach chairs and extra sunscreen! This was my first time staying in a condo instead of a hotel on Hawaii and I can definitely say that staying here has changed my mind! Donna's condo in particular was very comfortable and cozy with all the perks of being at home (including a very well stocked kitchen!) The only extra thing I would ask for is a full sized broom because we tracked in a lot of sand and I found myself sweeping a lot with the small hand broom, but that's just me being picky ;)

Nice condo in a great location

Very nice condo close to the beach and retail stores. Downside - building is not sound proof (single glazed windows, etc.) Overall we had a great time.

Condo with good amenities

Nice rooms, kitchen and living area. Close to many shops and restaurants, especially a nice supermarket (Times). Also close to a beach. Very comfortable balcony (lanai) with a good view.

Très bel endroit !

Le condo est très bien, tel que décrit dans l'annonce. Le complexe est très calme et très bien entretenu. Deux petits bémols: 1- L'air climatisé ne permet pas de refroidir les chambres. Par contre, en ouvrant les fenêtres et la porte patio, les courants d'air font le travail! 2- Quelques sans-abri traînent près du complexe, particulièrement sur le trottoir qui mène à l'épicerie. Parfois, certains viennent fouiller dans les conteneurs du complexe. Mais ils ne sont pas agressifs ou intimidants. Je recommande ce condo !!!

Enjoyed our stay in the condo (2nd time)

This was our second stay in the condo (Our first being August, 2015). We had such an amazing experience last year that we had to come back. Everything went great! Enjoyed the pool more this year as well. Hope to visit again some day in the near future.

Clean, quiet condo with easy access to all of Maui

My family of 2 adults and an 11 and 14 year old stayed here in April. First time to Hawaii. Condo has been renovated nicely. It was clean and we did not see any bugs in the condo. Beds and bedding are very comfortable. Complex grounds are very clean and the property management is continuously outside cleaning and maintaining all day, every day. Birds singing outside the windows in the mornings. Air conditioning is perfect for the main living area but is not strong enough to cool the back bedrooms There are fans in every room that were ok for cooling. The lanai is a great size and we appreciated the couch for late night lounging or early morning coffee. The condo had everything we required for our stay (except snorkeling equipment which you can rent all over the island). Not once did we hear from the owner or property manager to make sure everything was going well so I found that lacking in customer service. Just thought it would be nice to be treated as a special guest rather than an income. The owner did allow us with early entry our arriving day which I appreciated alot. Most spices left in kitchen are expired and need to be garbaged. WIFI is strong and consistent. The condo community is very quiet. It is an older demographic so there were not many kids seen through our 8 days and most people visiting the pool are over 50. The pool has a ton of rules (no marco polo, no jumping into the pool, etc.) so my kids didn't use it much. My 11 year old was down there a couple of times and it was fairly boring for her. I swam with her one day and it was very warm water which was nice. The barbeque facilities at the pool were great and they were never too busy. The walk to the immediate beach is a little sketchy. People passed out in the grassy areas or even right on the beach, hidden bottles of booze stashed in the bushes. We did not frequent this beach. We walked down a couple of evenings to watch the sun set but I would not spend any more time at this beach than that. The drive down to Kam 1, 2, and 3 is very short. There is fast food and convenience shopping very nearby (within walking distance). Definitely visit Mount Halaekala-incredible views! Stop by Malaaela Harbour and watch the turtles, great boogie boarding at Polo Beach, Kayaking/snorkeling was worth the money, rented bikes for a day which was fun. Husband and son explored the lava tubes (caves) during their drive to Hana. Eat at Coconuts or Tiki Lounge - great food! Shave Ice is yummy

Kihei Holiday

This was our 3rd trip to Maui in past 6 years and first time at Kihei Gardens. We are parents with a 13yr old and an 8yr old. Initially we missed the view over the beach to the ocean but the complex made up for that. Besides it is a very short walk to the beach. The complex and the courtyard are well laid out making the complex feel smaller than it is. The entire complex did not appear to be too busy even though it was March, perhaps many of the units are not rented. There was some voices from the pool area, but we didn't mind it, especially if our kids were making some noise too. The hot tub was nice as our previous condo only had a pool. The pool and complex are well maintained with staff cleaning the grounds every morning. Lots of vegetation made it appear very lush and tropical. The condo was very well stocked (best we've ever had) and well decorated; it was much appreciated. Mahalo DJ. There was some noise coming from the S Kihei Rd (vehicles, sirens) but it is an urban area. We do not expect solitude here, we go to Hana for that. We toyed with the idea of renting surfboards and/or SUPs for several days but had no place to store them as there is no storage in the condo or the complex. They would have to be left on the vehicle. We loved the location as it is central to going anywhere - West Maui, North Shore, Haleakala, Wailea - and the Times Supermarket was a quick walk. We would definitely go back.

Great property and close to everything!

Had a wonderful stay, location in the complex could not have been better for our 2 year old being so close to the pool. We loved the beach close by and playground just down the road. The condo amenities were fabulous and so appreciated the beach and pool toys provided. The only thing to our dissatisfaction was we were only provided 2 rolls of toilet paper for our week-long stay and were told we needed to buy extra. I'd never experienced that with a vacation rental before. Overall it was a great stay and we will certainly be back.
