This ON THE WATER BAY FRONT HOME NOW has a new fishing pier as of 4/10/19. A great place for being with family, spending time with friends or a fishing/nature retreat. Check out our reviews!!!! Two kayaks can be available upon request. Copano Sunset is relatively new to the vacation rental market. This 4 bedroom home includes 3 bedrooms on the upper main level featuring a full master bath and a full common bath. The lower level offers a large bedroom and a full private bath. All bedrooms on the upper level have Queen size beds and the lower level bedroom offers a full size bed and a fold down full size sleeper sofa. These accommodations can sleep 10 comfortably. The fenced rear yard overlooking the water is a great place for young children to play while under the supervision of adults.

Our home sits directly on Copano Bay. Enjoy your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine to the chatter of the gulls, the silence of a calm bay or a cool breeze from the spacious covered decks or the sea wall. Walk out the door and boat, fish, swim, or kayak. Sit on one of the porch swings and enjoy the water as dinner is prepared in the outdoor kitchen.

From May 15 to September 15 all weekend bookings must be at least 3 nights. At other times 3 night weekend bookings are preferred. During times other than May 15 - September 15 two night bookings will be accepted when possible.

The hosts and staff are available 24/7 to handle any emergencies that arise. Available by text or phone during day and evening hours. Guests can request as much or as little contact as they wish.

Guests are welcome to check-in from 4:00 p.m. Arrangements can be made for late arrivals. A lockbox is located on the rear upper deck on a post. Guests should text/call the host the night before their arrival to obtain the lockbox combination. Check-out time is by 10:00 a.m. Cleaning staff usually arrive around 10:00. Sometimes later check-outs up to 3:00 can be arranged dependent upon rental calendar and availability of cleaning staff. All late check-out arrangements must be made in advance of arrival and require $125 fee.

Perfect property for our extended family. Love the pier and fishing lights. The house has everything you need from linens to kitchen supplies and spices. Minutes from Rockport and all their restaurants and shopping.

Great house!

The layout of this property was perfect for the two families (4 adults, 5 kids). The property was clean and had all we needed. The fenced in downstairs area was great for relaxing and the dock was perfect for swimming and fishing! Rockport Beach not far at all. Stores and restaurants a short drive away. Owners were very helpful and responsive! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

If youā€™re doubting this house, do not think twice. This house is for you. We had 3 couples and 2 teens and there was plenty of room for everyone. House is completely stocked and perfectly located. We had so much fun on the pier. We will definitely be back.

Great Location and House

This property was very well taken care of and the communication with the owners was excellent. I honestly do not have one bad thing to say about the whole experience. They have a great property with a wonderful view and great access to comfortable fishing. I would not hesitate to book with them again. Thanks for a great and memorable experience.

Mother's Day Getaway

This house was perfect for my family. It was spacious enough that we were not on top of each other and very comfortable. The house was clean and well equipped for Mother's Day Dinner, we didn't need anything. The outdoor space was awesome; a little yard for my 2 year old and a fence to keep him somewhat contained. Fishing in the evenings was a lot of fun, the kids really enjoyed how activity it was. We will go back!

Bed in first Bedroom and ceiling fan in first bedroom

The only two complaints I have is the bed in bedroom one was very uncomfortable it dipped in the center and ceiling fan made a noise if it was on high. Other two beds were great! Every was great we had a wonderful time even though we had 3 days of bad weather. This place is a little piece of heaven. I will definitely recommend it to all my friends and family.

Relaxing and Enjoyable

The home and all amenities were very nice with a couple of exceptions. There were several large roaches we had to kill and there was no curtain covering the front door to the lower apartment. The listing also showed a swimming pool as one of the amenities. Not sure if that was for the Vrbo advertising or the specific property, so that left me a little confused. Property manager was very efficient in responding to requests and inquiries. With all the added fees, I did feel like off-season prices were a bit steep. Otherwise, it was quite enjoyable.

Thanksgiving trip

Our group of 10 has been spending Thanksgiving in Rockport for many years now...we love fishing and kayaking on Copano Bay, and the opportunity to be together for the holiday. It is often challenging to find a house to rent that comfortably accommodates 4 couples, a single adult, and a (now) 10 year old grandchild, has a fishing pier, and has kitchen and dining space sufficient for preparing Thanksgiving dinner. This house met our needs well. Management responded immediately to questions and concerns we had upon arrival and replenished kitchen supplies that were missing. Check in and check out was easy and smooth. It is important to note that the downstairs floor is not heated, which is probably not an issue during most of the year. We were able to resolve that with 2 small heaters that one couple brought from their home (they arrived a day after everyone else), but would have needed to purchase some if these had not been available, as we were not aware that there was no heating option provided.

This was a great place fir my family and I to enjoy a gulf coast getaway. Amazing house and view.

Renting this property was very easy. The host was very responsive and made our trip most pleasurable. Definitely using their leasing services again.

Waterfront house

Nice waterfront house. Good open floor plan. Great for families with the fenced in yard so the kids can't get close to the water. Would highly recommend.

We had our son a 2 grandchildren it was great had plenty of room for everyone, well stocked kitchen except for a can opener, very clean. The outside was wonderful, caught some crabs. Water is shallow but fun to play in. Would definitely come back!

Gorgeous location & clean. Great for families.

Well-appointed, clean, comfortable and the most gorgeous sunsets indeed. Great spot for families. Hopefully next time we can visit in warmer weather to take advantage of the kayak rentals offered. Fishing got us 2 non-keeper black drum, a small sting ray and a net.

Jean and I have visited Rockport frequently the last year and a half to visit our son and daughter-in-law. We thought it would be a great place to call home more frequently and were blessed to find this beautiful home. We are both retired educators, she a Reading Specialist and me a Professor of Special Education and Rehabilitation Sciences. We do not plan on moving to Rockport permanently because of family considerations but we are planning on spending a frequent amount of time in Rockport with family and friends. Not being there all of the time makes it possible and desirable to share this great home with others.

Visit once and you will know. We don't believe anyplace is more beautifully located or suited to just being or sharing. Dolphin feed and swim freely, birds of significant variety abound and being near and on the water is simultaneously relaxing and exciting. Within a few steps you are launching your kayak to explore the natural and bayside wonders.
