Do I need a 4x4 vehicle?

Altos de María is located in the mountains and has a fairly steep ramp.

A 4x4 vehicle is not mandatory, but it may make access easier.

If you do not have a 4x4, you can rent a small utility vehicle at the entrance gate upon arrival.

The WiFi speed is low, so we recommend bringing a TIGO mobile line for better communication.
