Holly, we are so sorry that you experienced some issues during your stay. I did check our maintenance records and it appears that the cabin had just been treated, so it may have stirred things up a bit. Again, very sorry about the unwanted guests. The cabin fairly private and does have a seasonal view.

Sounds like you had a nice time! That said, we were a bit surprised by the overall rating, as your comments reflect a largely enjoyable experience. A review highlighting so many positives reading as a failing-grade experience feels somewhat out of proportion, particularly for a stay you described as enjoyable and valuable. We truly appreciate your notes regarding the kitchen items, organization, coffee pods, and TV setup, and we’ve shared this feedback with our team to check these items to make improvements. I am not sure who you are getting the emails from, we only send one out approximately 5 days after departure to make sure everything was okay. You may be getting them from HomeAway for their follow up, we receive a lot of those as well. But I promise, we send more then one.
