Welcome to Big Red on the Kosh! Your perfect year-round getaway for family fun, friend gatherings, or peaceful waterfront relaxation on beautiful Lake Koshkonong in Edgerton, WI.

This newly updated and spacious 5-bedroom, 2-bathroom home comfortably sleeps 12 guests with 3 king beds, 2 queen beds, a trundle bed and a futon. Enjoy stunning lake views from the main level open-concept kitchen and living area with a smart tv, fireplace, and screened porch or the upper level primary bedroom also featuring a private deck. There are plenty of areas for guests to unwind including an extra living room with another smart tv, dvd player, and kids activity table.

Step outside to enjoy the yard with a fire pit for s'mores and stargazing, or head down to your private pier for fishing, boating, or sunset lounging. The "social garage" is another fun hangout space perfect for games, music and making memories. You'll also love the convenience of a public park right across the street - perfect for kids to swing and play or for extra green space for games and lounging.

This place is great. Great location with the park and beach. Excellent options for entertainment. The garage is amazing and rhe backyard hangout tops out the stay. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Great location, great lake for swimming and tubing, excellent house for adult and kids alike, comfortable beds, well-appointed kitchen and social garage, SO many games, lovely screened porch, responsive and helpful host, HIGHLY recommend!

We had a wonderful ladies weekend at the Big Red! The house was very clean, there were plenty of towels and all beds were amazing! We used the fire pit in the backyard two of our nights and there were plenty of chairs for all. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals while we were there. The view was great and location was close to the grocery store and three wineries. We would happily stay again!

This was such a perfect location for our family get together! The extra space in the garage was a great place to gather and watch the football games (Go Hawkeyes!) Really appreciated access to the dock for fishing but also in town to be able to go out to eat. Cortney was very responsive to our questions...we can thank you enough for a great weekend!

Cortney was a great host, very responsive! The house and property were perfect for our stay. The house slept our group perfectly, the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils and dishes. We throughly enjoyed our stay!

Each year a group of ua attend Wisconsin Sheep and Wool Festival. We all loved the house. There was plenty of space for all of us. The garage was perfect for our gatherings and sharing a meal. The home had everything we needed.

I had an incredible time staying at this property. Every small convenience was made and the place really felt like home, even if just for a handful of days. Just note that there is no dishwasher, but some handwashing is never a problem. Truly a beautiful spot.

We loved this place! It was perfect for a large group for a family wedding. They had everything we needed, view is beautiful and location is great. Would definitely book again for a large group. Cortney was very responsive as well!

We loved our stay. We had a problem with the TV, apparently you can only live stream. None of us do that at home, so it took a little getting used to, also there is no dishwasher, so just be aware of that. The kitchen was well stocked, there were ample towels, and everything was very clean. The social garage came in handy when we had visitors. The lake view was nice, unfortunately for us it rained several days. Courtney was great, very quick to respond to our questions.

The property accommodated us very well. It had plenty of room for our group and was very clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms very clean and there were plenty of towels. We loved the screened-in front porch and lake view, but we spent a lot of time in the social garage (when not on the lake). It had it all including a refrigerator, counter space, games and a TV. We rented a pontoon boat and the property provided a very nice pier for docking. Cortney was fantastic with her communication and response. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This house was perfect for our family get together! So many comfortable beds. The garage was a major bonus. Despite the cold weather the space heater worked great! Thanks for sharing this beautiful home with us.

The property was wonderful. Everything was as listed, plus more. The host is super responsive and answered every single one of our questions quickly and thoroughly. The lake view is great and there was so much to do. The game room garage conversion was even better than the pictures could show! There is a boat rental company around the corner from the house and the pier at the house was super easy to tie off to. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a vacation.

t hosts, great communication! Absolutely wonderful lake house for large families, well stocked for anything you might need! Perfect set up for various ages including children. We loved the dock and lake front park area. The game room garage was a huge hit with my kids and grandkids, and the fire pit for making s’mores! Highly recommend staying here!

Perfect weekend lake house getaway!

My family and I had such a fun weekend, we even ended up extending our stay an extra night because we didn’t want to leave! The house was very clean and equipped with everything you will need. The garage was the perfect place for hanging out and playing games. We had a great time swimming in the lake and visiting the sandbar! Overall, we definitely recommend and would love to visit again in the future.

Great spot for weekend getaway!

We had such a great weekend getaway at this cabin on Lake Kenosonog! A group of friends and I were looking to escape the city for a few days, and this place was exactly what we needed. The house was clean, and had everything we needed for the stay. Especially loved all the games in the social garage. We spent our days swimming in the lake and our evenings around the bonfire. It was the perfect mix of peaceful and fun. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a low-key lake weekend with friends!

Great Family House

The Big Red House on the Kosh was absolutely amazing for our group! The house is cozy and very well maintained. Plenty of rooms and activities to do at the house for kids. The finished garage with games and couches was a huge plus for our group. The lake access is great and the park/grass area across the street was a great for kids to run around at. Highly recommend going to Lake House Inn for food and drinks. It’s a close walk to this house and the food was amazing. This place has everything for family with kids!

My family had a wonderful stay at Cortney's place. She was very welcoming and responsive. The house was pristine, and had many extra and thoughtful touches. Plenty of room for all nine of us to relax and sleep well, to have quiet time and easy spaces to gather with each other. The house is charming and the location close to town and activities. The lake was fun, and we spent many hours swimming and on our paddle board and kayaks from Drift Away Paddle, as recommended by Cortney.

This property was just as advertised. It was super clean and so nicely decorated. We had a fire in the awesome fire pit area every night. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need for cooking. The beds were all comfy. The garage was fun and a great place to hang out. Our host was very communicative. She even left a goody basket to welcome us to her home.

The big red was very comfortable and well stocked. Cortney has it beautifully decorated and the welcome basket was much appreciated. We spent a lot of time in the social garage, watching the Brewer games, playing darts, foos ball and cards. It’s a great setup. We’re talking about when we can come back. Thank you Cortney.

Fantastic time celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday. Tons to do in the house, the garage game room and outside…even when it’s chilly. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake. This is an older house that has been wonderfully remodeled but we did struggle a bit to regulate the temperature between the upstairs and downstairs. We did anticipate that since it is November in Wisconsin…just pack accordingly. The owners were incredibly responsive and easy to work with. Overall we highly recommend staying here and we hope to go back again soon.

We stayed at the home in Lake Kosh for my nephew’s wedding at the nearby venue Over the Vines. We hosted the bride and some of the bridesmaids. The layout was perfect as the more “mature” adults took the two downstairs bedrooms while the younger people were able to do their thing upstairs. There was plenty of space for everyone.The rec room in the garage was awesome—darts, air hockey, corn hole, comfy couches, full size fridge and more was more than enough to keep people entertained. The house was very clean and well stocked—I think there were enough towels for 50 people!! Our favorite part was the view! We loved to sit on the porch directly across from the beautiful lake and relax with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The house was close to good restaurants on the lake and river with great views. We particularly enjoyed the Buckhorn Supper Club and Pettits Lakeview Bar and Grill. In sum, great space, good value and amazing views!
