Golf Home with seasonal hot tub - October to April

Very family friendly home! This 3 bedroom 2 full bath home is set on the #3 hole of Big Meadow golf course. There is a wood burning fireplace and we provide wood. It has a very fun playroom for children off the upstairs master bedroom. There are lots of toys and a little table and chairs for them.
The home has central air conditioning.
There is a barbecue that is under cover for year round use.
Some baby furniture is available.
The Host Fee that we collect is charged by Black Butte Ranch as a resort fee. This pays for access to swimming pools, hot tubs, sauna,
tennis and pickle ball courts, exercise rooms, bike paths and most other amenities. Some amenities are not included, like the horses and golf.
Hoodoo Ski Resort is 8 miles away. Numerous lakes are within 5 miles.
We have a hot tub that is available October 1 through March 30.
We are an easy walk or bike ride to the main lodge.

We really enjoyed staying here. It is such a cozy place to be and the fireplace is so nice. Everything was clean including the hot tub. We have only been here in the winter and would love to check it out in the summer sometime!

Lovely BBR house

We had such a fun time in this house, it fit our family of 4 easily and the location was great. We had everything we needed, including a relaxing view of the golf course, sitting on the deck. It was an easy bike ride to the bistro & pool, and combined with fantastic weather we had a wonderful stay.

Great vacation house

Perfect for a long weekend at Black Butte Ranch. Very quiet street but not far from pool, lake, tennis courts, etc. loved our stay!

Great Black Butte home

Three beautiful days in Black Butte made possible by a wonderful host and a house that had everything we needed. In quiet area where you can hear the gentle wind blowing thru the trees. Easy access to everything on the ranch and close to great hiking on and off the ranch. Clean as can be. Everything worked especially the host who was always prompt and patient.

Weekend at BBR

Marilyn was a great host, very responsive. The property was in good condition, albeit an older home, and in a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend being back at beautiful Black Butte Ranch (where we used to live).

Perfect house for a family holiday for golfers!

We absolutely loved staying here. Fantastic location on the golf course too. Black Butte Ranch truly is ideal for a family. They have swimming pools, tennis courts, and something we especially enjoyed was the Pickleball scene. We even took a lesson! The owner was very gracious and communicated with us very quickly whenever we had a question. Great value for the price too.

Felt like home!

We had a lovely time at Marilyn's home. The house was comfortable and inviting, and the two toddlers in our group adored the playroom and toys. Check out was easy, and we only had to wash/dry towels. The showers didn't have shampoo/conditioner, so make sure to bring your own!

Wonderful stay

House worked perfectly for our family. Only minor note even though they have cleaning incorporated into the fees they still asked for quite a bit more than we’ve ever had elsewhere in black butte and had a checklist of items to be completed before leaving.

Great weekend at Black Butte

3 old college buddies had a wonderful time in this very comfortable Black Butte home. Ideally located on the 3rd fairway of Big Meadow. House was clean and nicely furnished. I do wish the hot tub had been available. I look forward to renting again with my family.

Location, Location, Location!

6 of us ( all adults) were in BBR for a dear friends wedding and the house location was perfect! We loved watching the golfers on the long par 5 on the 3rd hole! It was fun telling the golfers where their ball landed! We played tennis, pickleball, played both courses, went to Camp Sherman and played in the Metolius River, spent a day at Sutton Lake AND had the most beautiful wedding at the Black Butte Lodge! The owner was so accommodating and quick with responses! She made the experience a delight!

Large and comfortable.

The connected back and side decks face the third hole of Big Meadow GC and were quiet and peaceful - adult deer and fawns roamed almost every morning. It is a great place to read and draw. The house is comfortable, not fancy or fussy. We stayed a week, had a lot of food and felt the kitchen could use more available pantry storage but we had zero problems in the end - two full size fridges help a lot (one in the garage). It was a very nice week away and staying at this house was relaxing and comfortable. I hope we are lucky enough to stay here again.

Clean and nice, beautiful back deck view on the golf course, nice quiet little street for kids to ride bikes. Comfy bed in the master. Nice deck furniture! Owner was super nice and responsive! Great value for the size of the house-we are a small family of three, but could have had a whole other family stay with us! Check in process very easy and seem less, with our names already registered by the owner. Checkout process was VERY easy with minimal “work”, which we very much appreciated as a family packing up for a 3 hour ride home!Couple things that would have made our stay 5 stars:Would have been nice to have shampoo and body wash or a bar soap in the showers, instead of hand soap. We had to purchase a bar of soap at the store to use and thankfully I had brought shampoo and conditioner from home. It was nice to have lotion in each bathroom, though! And I REALLY appreciate that there were actual Kleenex available too! Would have loved a tv in the living room downstairs to watch as a family. It was not too hot when we were there, but having a standing fan or two available would be super helpful, especially in keeping the upstairs master cool, because it definitely heats up during the day.Could use a couple more pool towels since we used 3 a day and there were only a total of 4, but plenty of bath towels and washcloths/hand towels etc for the house. Would have LOVED the option of using the hot tub in the evenings when it cools down. We would have paid extra to use it!

We have central air condition and there is a big fan on the ceiling for the whole downstairs. The air conditioning is listed in the add. We have found over the years that the summers get too hot and we have a child friendly home but not always children being supervised so it's a seasonal hot tub, The living room isn't the easiest for all to see a tv but often because they're smart tv's people just plug the downstairs one in in the living room. Thank you for the suggestions and glad it worked for you.

Nice 3 bedroom house with golf views

Nice accommodations with everything you need. Beautiful views out to trees and golf course. All the amenities of BBR- Tennis/pickle ball, swimming, biking paths, golf... the trail ride was a definite high point-- nice horses and scenic trails. House has everything you need and generally everything is in good condition, although a little older in style. Dishwasher could use updating. Upstairs loft bedroom is fairly private although sounds do carry from lower floor. Great playroom for kids if you need it. The little nook with TV upstairs was very comfy (but this nook and TV are both a little small for a group any bigger than 3-4 people). Outdoor decks (one large downstairs and 2 upstairs) were wonderful-- you can enjoy the outdoors in comfort from multiple locations. We saw deer, coyote, bunnies, and birds from the deck. The large downstairs deck has table with chairs, and multiple options of seating as well as BBQ and seasonal hot tub (not avail. in summer). Only negative was somewhat noisy mowing of the golf course first thing in the morning. Host was very nice and responsive.

Wonderful stay in Black Butte

We went to Black Butte for a long weekend to celebrate my wife’s birthday after Thanksgiving. It was perfect for our family of four… Our kids are five and seven. It is located right on the golf course so lots of open space to walk around in the winter. There was no snow while we were there, so it was nice to take the bikes on the bike paths, which were very close. The family room was so cozy with the wood burning fireplace. Everyone slept well and it was very easy to communicate with the owner. The hot tub was awesome!!! We definitely plan to stay here again! We are definitely planning

We have owned our home for 34 years and grew up in Bend Oregon. There's something special about those wonderful pine trees, mountains, rivers and lakes right near by. We have enjoyed sharing this with guests for 20 years. We live in Corvallis which is only 2 hours drive away. We love the little town of Sisters that is 8 miles from the ranch.

We sit right on the golf course on the third green and enjoy watching the golfers. I'm not sure they always do but we get many right in front of the deck.
