Adorable, newly remodeled cabin loaded with high-end details and family-friendly touches in the heart of the ranch! It doesn't get better than this: a beautifully decorated 3-bedroom, 2-bath cabin, only 5 minutes from Glaze Meadow Recreation Center and the South Meadow Pool! Newly acquired and fully renovated in 2013, with further updates in 2018. Features bunk room, newly renovated bathrooms and kitchen, flat screen TVs, Wii system, WiFi, upgraded cable package and brand new front-loading washer/dryer. This sought-after location features Aspen Lake about a block away, with pools, tennis, golf, basketball and kids playground a 5-minute bike ride. Bike paths right off the deck; you can relax and watch the kids bike around for hours. Pack-and-play, high-chair, child gate and fluffy pool towels on site for your use. Brand new silverware, glassware, dishes, pots and pans, knives, everything! If you are traveling with a larger group, we can work with our neighbors to accommodate larger groups in two homes. (Pets are considered, please call to discuss; no cats as we have an allergy in the family.) ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING.

Please note that Black Butte Ranch has a $9/person per day facilities charge, based on the self-reported number of people in your group provided at check in, that renters pay directly to Black Butte Ranch when you first get to the Welcome Center.

Awesome Black Butte Home

We had a great stay end of August for our family of 4! There were many extra accommodations from a BBQ, to indoor games, and Pickle Ball paddles! Kitchen is full of all the things we needed. Very comfy stay for us! XOXO

5 day stay for a reunion {5 houses rented at Black Butte)

the property and location are good. Loved the deck.Only complaint is the house was not cleaned for a new rental. There was garbage in the bin under the sink, bathroom rugs were not clean nor the floors. Top bedding needed airing outdoors due to musty smell.

Great Black Butte home for family

Perfect spot for our family of four. We visit Black Butte each summer and this is the perfect location on the Ranch for us as it is close to Glaze Meadows pool but able to bike to everywhere easily. The house was fully stocked with perfect kitchen gear, beach towels and games. It got hot when we were there…up to about 95 degrees but the house was definitely manageable with the evening low temperatures and fans.

Cozy retreat

We had a very relaxing stay at this updated and bright home. Excellent use of the space with lots of wooden pegs to hang your belongings. Very good selection of games and books to keep you occupied. Kitchen was well stocked with good pots and pans, cutlery and dishes except it could use a square baking pan for making brownies. The owners were very responsive when I called about needing laundry detergent and the housekeeping staff arrived very quickly to fix the problem. Very impressed with this house all around.

Great house, centrally located for families with young kids

Our two families (4 adults, 3 kids, 1 dog) had a lovely time in this very cute, clean and well appointed house. Lots of little details made this place special - plenty of hooks for hanging towels and swim suits to dry, dog dishes, tons of games, ipod speakers in the bedrooms, Wii and every kitchen amenity you'd need. The house does not have A/C, but does provide fans and it cooled off enough at night that we were able to sleep comfortably with the windows open, but during the day it was quite warm inside. The decor is modern, light and a nice change from so many of the darker, wood cabin interiors nearby. The location was perfect - very close to Glaze Meadow and a quick bike ride to the new lodge pool/rec center. My only criticism would be for firmer beds - both queen beds were very soft and still had down comforters and quilts on the beds that were way too heavy/warm for the 95+ temps outside.

Comfy, cozy, central + helpful extras

Our stay was great! This location is 0.38 miles walk/bike to glaze meadow pool area and perfectly central for hitting the bike trails with young kids and grandparents (not on super steep hills, etc). The house was clean and comfortable with good sunlight coming in. Brand new double bunk bed was very comfy and quiet which really made our stay work well since I had to sleep with my youngest! Toys, games, big shampoo & body wash were helpful extras. The owners were responsive & helpful. With a very active 5 year old boy, I only wished there was a little flat yard space to safely run around. The houses are relatively close together in this area and yard is a hill and rocky/rough. He played in the street some though - not a busy street at all. Upstairs shower water pressure was poor and the cooktop seemed to not work quite right, but manageable.

Hi Sunny. Glad that you enjoyed your stay! We figured out that the oven knobs were mixed up, so that is why the cooktop didn't seem to work correctly. It is fixed now. Our apologies about that!

Terrific home for Thanksgiving holiday

Exceeded my expectations! Kitchen was well appointed. Cozy, clean and comfortable. Owners were accommodating, responsive and great communicators. We had a terrific holiday. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Great home and great location!

This is the second time that I have stayed at this property and there are only positive things to say. The house is spotless. The house is decorated nicely and the kitchen is nicely stocked with dishes and cookware. The location is perfect and is close to Glaze Meadow and a fun bike ride distance to Lakeside. I would highly recommend this home.

Beautiful house in a perfect location.

Beautiful home with a lot of windows in a secluded location with easy access to pools, play areas, and all ranch facilities. The host Frank was very responsive to our needs and made the entire check-in process seamless. The house cooled off nicely at night.

Great cabin!

We had a great stay at this cabin! We were a family of 4 with 2 young kids age 4 and 2 and a dog. We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin on BBR. We thought the location was good. We appreciated the updated interior with well-designed layout and practical considerations such as extra towels and tons of wall hooks everywhere, the abundant books and toys for our kids to play with, and the comfortable beds. We also appreciated the flexibility about the dates we stayed by the owners- we changed our minds multiple times bc of childcare disruptions at home. The only negative were the many spiders in the house, some quite large, but I’m guessing that is not uncommon on the ranch. BBR is such a peaceful and fun place to come for our family and we will be back. We definitely would consider booking this property again if it is available.

Worked well for us, loved Black Butte

This place worked out well for our family. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen and gathering areas weren’t all that big, so we were glad we had a larger home for our extended family to gather in for Christmas, but this home was a nice place for our immediate family of five to come back to. Hosts were responsive and helpful.

Great spot at BBR

We really enjoyed our stay at 48 BBR! Lives a lot larger than the square footage and is well-equipoed for a family getaway. Great location and SO quiet. Wish we had known about the activity fee ($200+ for 6 people) before booking but that wasn't a huge deal.

The property was as described. Well appointed and perfectly set up for our family to enjoy our week away. Everything we needed, or didn't even know we needed, was there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.
