Prancing Horse Estates is a beautiful property is located on 10 private, gated acres near The Woodlands, Lake Conroe, and Woodforest. You’ll love this beautiful well stocked home located within 4 meadow and 6 wooded acres with 2 paths to the creek through the forest - with lovely space outdoors incl BBQ, pool, waterfall, hot tub, fire pit, seating/dining for 16. This “Readaway, Farm Charm” property is an official 2025 Certified Wildlife Habitat® site with the National Wildlife Federation and Texas Conservation Alliance. There is so much space to enjoy, so we offer up to eight guests included in the room rate, with additional day visitors or overnight guests at $35 per person per night if your friends want to drop by for a BBQ, campfire, or dip in the pool. Enjoy 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, living area, dining area, and family room with extensive outdoor space to enjoy. There is 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, 5 twin beds, and 1 queen sleeper sofa. A crib, pack n play and toddler bed are available, as well as air mattresses, upon request.

We provide a military and police / fireman appreciation discount (ID req).

This house was as amazing as the pictures show. Everything we needed was there. The pool was great and the water fall was so relaxing. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked inviting. The furnishings in the the house looked like something out of a magazine. The host was so sweet and easy to work with. We highly recommended this home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Prancing Horses estate! The house was spacious, elegantly decorated, and well supplied with everything you may need for your stay. We especially enjoyed the outdoor living area with the pool and hot tub- perfect for an early breakfast or an after dinner conversation. The hosts were easy to communicate with and attentive to all our needs and questions. We would love to return some day!

What an amazing property! We had the most wonderful family gathering here. The pool and hot tub was a fantastic bonus. The peacefulness and beauty of nature was endless. We saw deer every day. We could not ask for more gracious hosts than Kelly and Ken. If I could give 10 stars I would. We will definitely book here again when we return to the Houston area.

Exceptional! The house was amazing! House has everything you could need for a family. The best host we have had in a long time. She brought us fresh eggs and honey in the morning which was so kind and tasted delicious. Would definitely recommend this house and we will definitely stay here again!

We are a group of 6 ladies that have been friends for over 50 years and take 1 or 2 trips a year together. This 4 Bedroom home was great for our group! We enjoyed sitting outside on the back patio having dinner while enjoying the sounds of the pool. The home is very nice and the kitchen and pantry are well appointed and stocked. While some worked on meals, the others could sit in the living room and we were all able to visit and do what longtime friends do...laugh!! Several of our group went for walks and enjoyed the private road and paths. Kelly and her husband Ken were very responsive and great hosts! We enjoyed visiting with them and had a great time in this home!

We had such an amazing Memorial Day weekend at this property! What started as a romantic couple getaway quickly turned into one of the most relaxing stays we’ve had in a long time. The property is absolutely beautiful — peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, making it feel like you’re far away from the city even though everything is still conveniently accessible.The pool was honestly one of the highlights. Super clean, relaxing, and perfect for both daytime fun and late-night swims. The entire place feels private and spacious, making it ideal not only for couples, but honestly for a whole family getaway as well. There’s plenty of room to relax, unwind, and make memories together.Everything was well maintained, comfortable, and welcoming. You can really tell Kelly who is the host , care about the experience guests have here. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with an awesome pool, quiet surroundings, and a cozy atmosphere, this is the place. We already want to come back!

This group of men were great communicators, and very quiet on the property. However there was some damage to bedding, etc that they paid for without complaint, when the housekeeping staff sent photos over. A quick resolution and all new bedding secured rapidly.

Kelly and Co. were awesome. House was great and the pool and hot tub were awesome. Lots of space to walk, take a stroll and just chill.They brought us fresh eggs every morning as well as fresh honey. They even invited my daughter over to pick up the freshly laid eggs.One of the best stays we have had on vacation. We were there for the WBC in Houston. The drive is a straight shot and even though it is a bit of a drive into the city, it was well worth staying a little bit away from town to stay at this place.We will be headed back the next time we are in Houston !I travel a lot and this is probably the best property we have stayed at.

Had a wonderful stay. We were there for my daughters wedding at a nearby venue. The house was perfect for our group and Kelly was an amazing host. I would definitely reccomend staying here if you are doing an event at the Lodge at Mound Creek. Itbis only a couple of minutes away. This would be a perfect place for a family get away with kids. Kelly is an amazing host who responded quickly to all my questions and checked in withb me to make sure we had everything we needed. 5 stars is not enough to give this place and host.

We loved this house and property. We were a group of seven ladies. The house fit us perfectly with room to spare. The house was beautiful and very clean, inside and out. The pool and hot tub were awesome, with the waterfall it made it feel like a tropical resort. The temperature of the water was perfect for swimming anytime day or night. Beautiful views of the woods and animals. There is even a hiking trail to go explore the woods. The beds were soft and extremely high so if you’re height challenged you might bring a folding step. Even though the owner is right next door, you still feel private and for us girls, we felt secure. Another good thing is if you have any issues the owner is right there. Kelly was responsive to text. If you want the waterfall or hot tub on just text her. The walk to get in is a little far but Kelly can provide you with a hand cart, just ask upon booking. The house is fully stocked with books, game, movies and toys. The closet in the kids room would be a dream world for your children. I could see where they could spend hours in that room. The kitchen is stocked but if you’re a cook you might want to bring your own spices and oil. Several different ways to make coffee, too. The lanai area is a great place to sit outside, specially when it’s raining. There is a table outside by the pool with an umbrella to help with the sun. Lots of chairs for seating all around the pool. There are also fun toys for the pool and a ping pong table.

We had another amazing, relaxing stay! We came as a family of 5 with 3 children, plus my in laws, and everyone had more than enough space to relax, zone out, play, or whatever else came to mind. The home, pool, and surrounding land are kept impeccably. The host is so warm and friendly and even left fresh eggs on the porch in the morning! Can’t wait to come back again!

We took a weekend vacation with family from out of town, total of 6 kids between the ages of 4-8 and the house was perfect and a home-like feel with the Children’s room filled with toys ! The Pool was the hightlight of our stay!!! Will definitely be coming back hopefully get too see some deer the next time around!

Wonderful weekend retreat

A beautiful home and yard, perfect for a moms weekend getaway. So quiet, it was great for relaxing and the pool was clean and fun.

Private, gated, 10 acre wooded plus meadows property with lovely 3800 sq ft home. The pool and spa are very private, the perfect place to watch the deer graze out back in the early mornings. The 10 acres are filled with local flora and fauna, with a creek running throughout as well as short trails. The home is beautiful and inviting inside and out. We have a huge library for adults, teens, and children. Love to have you come and stay! Lake Conroe is 5 miles away with boat rentals, jet skis, fishing, restaurants on the water. The Woodlands is great for excellent golf, dining and shopping, 7 miles away. Woodforest is 2 miles away for great food, groceries, walking trails. The weather is warm enough to swim most of the year.

The absolute peace and quiet of the forest and meadows. Coffee with a friendly herd of deer and songbirds every morning. The lake 5 miles away - fishing, boat rentals, jet skis. Shopping and dining in both Woodforest and the Woodlands, Peace and quiet yet GREAT restaurants, museums, high end shopping so close! So many things to do and yet the property is entirely quiet and feels so remote from it all.
