Welcome to Prancing Horse Estates! This beautiful guest house is located on 10 private, gated acres close to The Woodlands, Lake Conroe and Houston. You’ll love this beautiful home located within 4 meadow and 6 wooded acres with 2 paths to the creek - with lovely space outdoors incl BBQ, pool, waterfall, hot tub, fire pit, seating/dining for 20. This property is an official 2025 Certified Wildlife Habitat® site with the National Wildlife Federation and Texas Conservation Alliance. 8 guests are included in the room rate, additonal day visitors or overnight guests are $35 per person per night (up to 13 adults max). The home is 1 story, has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, living area, dining area, and family room. There is 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, 5 twin beds, and 1 queen sleeper sofa. A crib, pack n play and toddler bed are available, as well as air mattresses, upon request.

Check in is after 4 pm, check out is at 11 am. A valid photo ID is required via text PRIOR to arrival. All guests must be registered and paid for two days in advance, including any visitors. We provide a military and police / fireman appreciation discount (ID req). We also provide a 20% repeat 5 star guest discount~we love our repeat visitors!

Had a wonderful stay. We were there for my daughters wedding at a nearby venue. The house was perfect for our group and Kelly was an amazing host. I would definitely reccomend staying here if you are doing an event at the Lodge at Mound Creek. Itbis only a couple of minutes away. This would be a perfect place for a family get away with kids. Kelly is an amazing host who responded quickly to all my questions and checked in withb me to make sure we had everything we needed. 5 stars is not enough to give this place and host.

We had excellent stay. The house is very nice and in a great location. It is a quiet neighborhood and an excellent place to relax and spend time with family. Would stay again the next time we are in the area.

Plenty of room for a large group. Great location if attending an event at the Lodge at Mound Creek. Everything was clean. Lots of extra blankets and towels. Fully stocked kitchen. Large Bluetooth speaker to connect to and play music. If you have small children there are a multitude of games and fun costumes. Host was flexible with check in and out which was nice because people’s flights were arriving at different times.

We had another amazing, relaxing stay! We came as a family of 5 with 3 children, plus my in laws, and everyone had more than enough space to relax, zone out, play, or whatever else came to mind. The home, pool, and surrounding land are kept impeccably. The host is so warm and friendly and even left fresh eggs on the porch in the morning! Can’t wait to come back again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kelly’s property! From the moment we arrived, everything was welcoming and exactly as described—if not better. Kelly was an exceptional host: responsive, friendly, and incredibly thoughtful.When we arrived, she had left a complimentary bottle of wine, which was such a warm and generous surprise. During our stay, she even left fresh eggs and honey on the front porch, which was such a special treat. The pool was a true highlight—crystal clear, perfectly maintained, and the ideal spot to relax.The home itself was beautiful, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. You can tell that Kelly has put a lot of care into making sure guests feel right at home. We took a weekend vacation with family from out of town, total of 6 kids between the ages of 4-8 and the house was perfect and a home-like feel with the Children’s room filled with toys ! The Pool was the hightlight of our stay!!! Will definitely be coming back hopefully get too see some deer the next time around!

Great property off the beaten path. Stayed for the wife’s bday get together. Spacious house and great pool. Property manager was very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend and I’m sure we’ll be back.

Quick Family Getaway

A huge thank you to Kelly and Ken for being great hosts! Our family had a wonderful time. The home and property were fabulous. We enjoyed watching the deer, swimming in the pool, evening in the hot tub, grilling and playing games with the family. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Beautiful Home, Pool, and Property!

This is a fabulous property. Perfect for a large family! My kids families of 4 each and me! We all had a private space. The kids loved all the toys and the pool! So peaceful. We had guests one day and there was room for all. We didn’t stay long enough to get to enjoy everything. We plan to come back!

Peacefully and Gorgeous

My family and I spent enjoyed a very peaceful day at this gorgeous home, celebrating my daughter’s graduation away from town! The host was super attentive and supportive! We got a fresh egg basket which came in very handy for our breakfast! This home is a dream home!!!

Terrific Family-Friendly Stay

We chose this rental based on amenities and the rental’s proximity to a wedding my wife and I were attending (our first couples outing without our daughter since her birth). The grandparents joined us at this rental to get some quality time with the grandbaby while my wife and I were at the wedding. We were blown away by the “kids’ room” that we had access to during our stay. There were several books and toys conveniently packed away for use. While our daughter is too young to probably remember this experience, the comfort-of-home offered through this rental made lasting memories for ourselves and the grandparents. Kelly was very responsive during our visit and the house is as incredible as the listing describes. Would return in a heartbeat if in the area.

Plenty of space!!

We stayed on this property so that my daughter and her friends could have a great end of school celebration. There were 12 of us, including my husband and I, and we loved how much space there was throughout the house, including beds. Kitchen had at the cookware we needed, and we even grilled. It was such a relaxing stay even with 10 girls!

Fabulous, peaceful family getaway

We stayed in early April with our adult children and elderly parents. The pool and hot tub were excellent, and the outdoor seating was plentiful and was a favorite place to be if we were not in the water. Beds are comfortable, host is so thoughtful and kind, and the house was a perfect set up for our group. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great Place and Great Hostess

We very much enjoyed our stay. The home was modern, clean, and spacious with an open floor plan. The beds were very comfortable and the A/C worked great. Mornings outside on the patio watching the deer and listening to the birds were very relaxing. Kelly, our hostess, was amazing! She was very accommodating, communicative, helpful, and gracious. She took our grandchildren (and us) on a tour of the grounds and let them help her gather the chicken eggs. She also showed them her bee hives and her worm farm. They had a blast!Thanks for everything Kelly! We hope to return again soon.

Kids birthday

We hosted our 11 year old son’s birthday and the space was great. Plenty of open space for the boys to play but relaxing for my wife and I to sit by the pool and enjoy the hot tub! Lots of room to sleep and not far from store or restaurants if needed! Highly recommend

Best stay ever!!!

These 4 days could not be any better! Kelly was so helpful - she even brought us fresh eggs each day! The home is set up perfectly and just as described. We had all we needed! We've stayed at many vacation rental properties and this was my favorite due to the home and also mostly to our hostess! We will definitely book this home the next time we are here!

Kelly was so sweet to work with and the home was absolutely perfect for my family of 13. We were 2.4 miles from our wedding venue for our daughter’s wedding. The property is private and was so relaxing. Love, love, love this house!!!!

Private, gated, 10 acre wooded plus meadows property with lovely 3800 sq ft home. The pool and spa are very private, the perfect place to watch the deer graze out back in the early mornings. The 10 acres are filled with local flora and fauna, with a creek running throughout as well as short trails. The home is beautiful and inviting inside and out. Love to have you come and stay! Lake Conroe is 5 miles away with boat rentals, jet skis, fishing, restaurants on the water. The Woodlands is great for excellent golf, dining and shopping, 7 miles away. Woodforest is 2 miles away for great food, groceries, walking trails. The weather is warm enough to swim most of the year.

The absolute peace and quiet of the forest and meadows. Coffee with a friendly herd of deer and songbirds every morning. The lake 5 miles away - fishing, boat rentals, jet skis. Shopping and dining in both Woodforest and the Woodlands, so many GREAT restaurants, museums, high end shopping. So many things to do, so close and yet the property is entirely quiet and feels so remote from it all.
