Magnificent 4 bedroom Villa with and free wi-fi . 5 Bathrooms - Master en-suite with jacuzzi bath. there is extra fee , pool heating cost 200 euros per week , you need to ask to the owner if you want that service , the pool heating is not working from December until March .The views from the house are spectacular. This villa is equipped with all that is necessary to make your Algarve Holiday relaxing, enjoyable and memorable.special prices .THE SUMMER IN PORTUGAL IS TO GOOD TO BE MISSED................ Dining and drinking: Restaurants in a radius of about a 10 minute drive (e.g. in Estoi, Moncarapacho, Sao Bras de Alportel) provide for your well-being with tasty Portuguese cuisine. Typical for the Algarve menu is fish and seafood. Portugal is a wine country and it is always worth trying the white, green or red wines.Estoi village (5 minutes by car from the villa) is an unspoilt, quaint little hilltop town, nestled in the foothills of the Serra do Caldeirão. Narrow, cobbled streets wind through this charming resort to the central town square, where you will find the impressive town church and everything you need; supermarket, bakery, pastry, butcher, hairdresser, banks, cafes where you can enjoy a coffee and a cake, etc. On the second Sunday of each month a market is held on the outskirts of Estoi, where a variety of clothing and handmade crafts as well as fruit and vegetables can be picked up. Estoi also boasts two architectural gems, one is the Palacio de Estoi, known as the Pink Palace, and the other is the Milreu Roman ruins, one of the first villas built in the Algarve by the Romans.The airport and beach are only 20 minutes by car and the city of Faro 15 minutes by car .About Vilamoura there is a beautiful beach with water skiing and other sports activities. Vilamoura also has a large golf park with a golf school and a marina worth seeing with many restaurants, bars and shops. The Algarve has its own charm all year round.

Perfect family retreat for a relaxing holiday.

A modern, well maintained villa that easily accommodated seven of us in comfort. The towns of Estoi and Sao Brao are only 10 to 15 minutes drive, offering a good selection of shops and restaurants.

Portuguese holiday retreat

Great villa and as we expected, in the hills in a peaceful location. The house had all we needed and sightseeing in the area is easy (car essential) New bed linen and pillows would be a great investment. We will definitely return to Portugal, everyone we met was friendly, the food delicious and thoroughly enjoyed the local vino verde

Happy days

Property was exactly how described, few problems we had was put right by owners sister straight away! My 3 grandchildren had a wonderful time swimming in the pool, adults a relaxing time! Estoi palace worth a visit, beaches beautiful, would recommend.

Wonderful stay at Villa Murta

Our family of 6 adults recently stay at Villa Murta for 3 weeks in May24 and were very pleased with our decision to stay here. The villa was very large and fit our family well. We enjoyed the pool and the pool table and the location to Faro and surrounding area was easy to access. The road leading to the villa is very narrow so a smaller vehicle is recommended. The location to the closest Lidl and Continente grocery stores in Sao Bras de Alportel was very convenient. Thank you Villa Murta for an awesome family vacation. !

Really nice peaceful location

We had an amazing time away and was a beautiful place to stay, it’s initially abit challenging to find but once there it was a breeze in and out, the villa is extremely large and spacious with everything you need. We had gone for the pool to be heated due to the time of the year this wasn’t very efficiently ran so it remained cool but the owner generously reimbursed us for this! The communication was great and I would recommend and return my self.

thanks lee , this year was extremely cold and rain a lot in March when i switch on the pool heating was 10 dgree when you arrive was 24 dgree in one week rise up 14 dgree but the weather did not help in other years went to 28 dgree.

Very pleasant stay, the house is very nice and in an excellent and relaxing area. If you’re looking for nature and relax this will be certainly one of the places to stay. Big enough for a big family or group of friends. The pool is nice (although with wind the pool may get a bit dirty with leaves). There are also always a lot of wasps around the pool looking for water and some end up dying inside the pool. The access to the house (outside) is not ideal for big cars but still manageable. The house could have some sort of shed for one or two cars (there’s plenty of space and during summer time under the sun the whole day, the car gets too warm inside). The garden is great to stay, and enjoy the pool. In front of the kitchen there’s a very nice place to eat outside

Perfect Stay

We enjoyed the stay very much. Easy access from the airport, high quality house. Thanks for heating the pool that was very important for the kids. As far as i know one has to inform marco before the stay and pay an extra price (what was fine for us). My son and I used the pool billiard and the kitchen had everything inklusive an orange juice machine ;). The housekeeper next door was very friendly and getting the keys and instruction of using the house was easy and very helpful. We drove to beach Marina (40 minutes) which was perfect and booked a dolphin and cave tour with dream wave insomnia boat in Albufeira and visited the nice market in Olhao. It was a little bit loud during the night due to barking dogs from neighbours - no problem for us but maybe good to know. We will come back! Thanks Marco. Christian

Great Relaxing modern luxury villa

We thought that this was a lovely villa. Absolutely huge with only 3 of us staying there, very modern, well-equipped and spotlessly clean. Owner was easy to deal with via email and having maintenance man on-site but away from villa was very convenient. Lovely gardens and pool. We paid for pool heating at end of May and were very glad of it. Although villa is only 10 or so miles from airport, no aircraft noise at all - all you can hear are the birds! It is a little hard to find even with good directions - recommend you put the co-ordinates into satnav N 37.11573 , W 007.85827. Look for the big brown/red iron gates automatic gates. The drive up to the villa could be a little scary in the dark as it is a country track. The villa is incredible value out of high season and I would certainly recommend it providing that you like tranquility - there really are no amenities within walking distance, although the Lidl is around 10 minutes drive away and has everything you need and the coast is 25 minutes. We liked to drive down to Vilamoura for lunch although other beaches/resorts are available. With the villa being so well-equipped we spent most time by the pool and barbeque though. We had a great time and really enjoyed it.

Villa lovely in a extremely rural area. Villa in appearance is very tired and needs updating, and a good clean.Driveway difficult to get up in a family vehicle. Pool light is broken, only one light working and we had to ask for that to be enabled so we could put it on. We did pay extra for the pool to be heated. Pool umbrella is broken so you cannot sit and watch kiddies without sun burning. Sunbeds mostly broken, and graveyard in backyard previously broken sunbeds.I didn't mind paying extra for luxury items like pool heating, but I do mind paying for sheets and bed linen, which is an essential. Be prepared for eveything to be at an extra cost, at a high rate. The aircon at the moment is 150euros a week, I didn't mind a charge but that is far too expensive!, as we would have only used it in the evenings. Hot tub use was an extra, but not needed. Most annoying thing was the gate, only one entry clicker, we were a family with 2 cars so had to wait up at night to open and shut gate for last person to come home. The maintenance man who lived on property (under our bedroom) was supposed leave gate open for us to close when last person returned, but he kept closing the gates.Wifi worked in house, kitchen all good. Washing machine & dish washer worked well, and the BBQ was lovely. Expensive holiday villa, didn't really get what we expected. Allow extra 500euros for bed linen and pool heating, that does not include for air con.

Average stay for a family of 4

Our 9 night family stay at Marta was good at best. The villa is very large and each room is very spacious. The villa can hold two families of 4 or 4 couples. The villa is set outside the village/small town of Estori. It's a quiet location, other than the occasional noises of dogs barking and roosters calling out, which we found fitted the setting. The narrow dirt road leading to the villa is not ideal for a van or large people carrier. There are a few downsides to the villa that we found. We paid additional costs (300euros) for the pool heating and linen, but the pool never got above 25 degrees, which in April was very cold. The cost of the linen for a family of 4 consisted of 2 pool towels, 2 bath towels and 6 hand towels and 2 white bed sheets. Pillows were very lumpy and old, and dated blankets. The kitchen cooking equipment is old and handles on pans were loose. No cleaning supplies were left other than half a bottle of washing up liquid and one sponge. The sun loungers are dated and old. Lastly the sofa was awful, dirty and separated into small sections constantly. Not comfortable at all. The villa needs updating with regards to furniture and homeware. I am not sure I would completely recommend this villa as these issues did annoy me throughout the stay.

Lovely villa - shame about service

This is a lovely property with lots of space, but feels a little tired, a bit like the service by owner/manager… We made our booking, then booked our flights…then the owner got in touch saying we had to move to a day later - our flights were already fixed. Eventually he agreed we could work with the original date. But communications were terse. I was concerned about finding the property as we were arriving late and previous reviews said it was difficult to find, but it was no problem. I asked the owner to ensure some water and fruit, for example, were left In the property as we would be very late arrivals. There was nothing left for us. We paid 35€ per room for towels and bedding - the info booklet at the property said towels would be changed mid week and bed linen after a week - and cleaning. This did not happen, despite me contacting the manager and owner, who said that no info booklet existed (?) and I would have to pay again per room if i wanted bedding changed - I even photographed the booklet - really disappointing! I had also asked if it was possible for some other pillows. That was a ignored. The pool filters did not seem to be running or the baskets cleared so I messaged to check - the owner told me to stop worrying about small stuff and enjoy my holiday…. Our aircon stopped working the day before we left - I messaged to report it and the manager rang to tell me where the trip switch was - this did not solve the problem and nothing else was done. Shame.

Out of date beautiful spot it could be wonderful with some money spent on it. The drainage in showers need to be looked at as the base filled with water it didn’t drain away so you had a backwash of hair and do not know what else, not very pleasant, this was on all showers. I was told on the Sunday we needed to bring bedding and towels, I had not read this in the information so that was my fought I was shocked of having to pay extra to acquire the bedding for our stay, why would you travel on a plane with bedding, I was totally thrown apparently since Covid, we have to live with Covid it’s not goin When we arrived it was just left on the hall table we had to make our own beds, not what I would expect. The bedding and towels need to be updated, the bath towels almost like hand towels. The pillows were filled with cubed foam, most uncomfortable. The pool table on two of its sides there are patio doors, a complete accident one of the balls fell off the table bounced and went into the patio door cracking the window, so added insurance is essential in this property. The aircon went off several times had to phone for it to be rebooted. BBQ was not fit for purpose and filthy. There is an old fridge freezer in the kitchen which is broken and has been there since 2019 needs to be removed. The balcony upstairs off one of the bedrooms could do with some furniture so you could enjoy views of an evening. On the upside it was well stocked cutlery and crockery. Disappointing

disappointing with you broke the patio door with a snoker ball and you want me to use insurece when there is the damage deposit to cover this acidents , and now you came with lies about the villa to make people beleave the villa is no good , you not care about the villa and broke stuff and you are charge for that and you did not like .THAT is why you make this bad review.

Ótima semana

Uma ótima semana de férias, tudo impecável. Apenas uma ressalva, falta uma máquina de café de cápsulas, uma vez que não temos cafés por perto, e algumas janelas poderiam ter rede mosquiteira. De resto, nada a apontar, tudo fantástico.

House is big and spacious in a beautiful green area. We were in 4 people in a place announced for 8 people. We knew that was an extra charge for some features according to the description but we were not expecting to be asked 150 euros for bed lines and towels. We decided not to pay since we could simply go to IKEA (6 minutes by car) and buy everything for much less than that. We also decided not to pay 150 euros for air conditioners. That was a mistake since it was a cold week and the place can get very cold. House is lacking maintenance. The door from the upstairs bedroom taking to the external balcony doesn’t open. The single two beds bedroom mattress were very worn and they sink to one side when you lay down. Lighting is poor and some lamps are burned out. Living room sofa is old and have a lot of stains. You basically have to take everything with you. No dish towel, no dish soap, no floor cloth, no bath mat, no soap, no shampoo, no firewood, no matches. Notice that I am not saying he must provided all this, but it is something we would expect in a vacation home since we don’t want to carry all those things around when traveling. It was a very cold week and there was not hot water practically during our whole stay (7 days). We asked the host and first he blamed us for taking too long on shower (even though we didn’t take one single hot bath), then he said he would ask someone to take care. Few hours later he said there was a problem and it was fixed. There was not entirely true. Water was still cold during the whole day, next day, one person were able to take a hot shower (out of 4 on a place announced for 8 people) until water got cold again. Of course we couldn’t use the Jacuzzi. We decided we wouldn’t stay longer and left one day earlier than expected. It is interesting to remark that the cleanliness of the place seems to be dependent on the previous guests. I only have to say that I have 62 reviews 3 of them are 2 stars it does not make sense that customers before you give 5 stars and those after you give 5 stars and speak only well of the house you are the black sheep of all the houses owners. you came in the low season paid 1 misery and still wanted the extras for free.ola este clientes sao mentirosos e vinham com a in tensao de me enganar montaram um esquema para pedir o dinheiro da estadia de volta mas nao resultou , eles dizeram que a agua quente nao estava a funcionar mas o que se passou foi que eles gastaram a cisterna de 500 litros de agua quente num so dia e o sitema estava ligado nos paneis solares e nao transferio para o sistema eletrico para recomeçara aquecer a agua mas assim que eles avisaram o homem da manutençao ele ligou o sistema eletrico e começou a trabalhar . eu só tenho a dizer que tenho 62 reviews 3 delas sao de 2 estrelas nao faz sentido que os clientes antes de voces dao 5 estrelas e os depois de voçes dao 5 estrelas e falam so bem da casa voçes sao as ovelhas negras de todos os casa proprietarios . voçes vieram na temporada baixa pagaram 1 miseria e ainda queriam os extras de graça .

The villa is spotless, enormous, and has all amenities, including a much loved pool table! Location is great, in a beautiful valley, surrounded by hills and views - spectatcular in the early spring

Boas férias

A casa é bastante grande, ideal para famílias numerosas. A piscina é excelente. Longe da praia, ideal para descanso A casa estava bem limpa, porém não posso dizer o mesmo das louças da cozinha que estavam bastante sujas ( provavelmente deixada pelo anterior inquilino), mas que deviam ser verificadas antes de entrar uma nova família. Recomendo!!

obrigado pelo o comentario mas louças bastante sujas nao acredito ate pode ter alguma coisa mais suja mas da maneira que voçe falou parece que tinha mta coisa ate que ja é regra na casa se os clientes deixarem loiça por lavar e mto sujo sera cobrado o deposito . Mas vou falar para as mulheres da limpeza para tomar mais atençao .
