The villa has a stone-paved roadway, a wooden burning stove and separate dining room. The lounge has a fire place, TV with satellite and various English channels, WIFI indoors and outdoors, a very pleasant garden offers a very comfortable relaxing area. Modern well equipped kitchen, dishwasher machine, microwave, and laundry with washing machine and dryer. This villa has 4 lovely bedrooms en suite and 1 service toilette. Doors lead from kitchen to large covered BBQ area , which is very private. It's a truly luxurious villa providing all of the comforts of home and is beautifully furnished throughout.

We had a lovely week at the Villa. It is well equipped with everything you could need, close to supermarkets and restaurants, yet in a peaceful location. The pool was amazing - a great size. Pool table was fun and we used it pretty much daily, The villa was clean, gardens immaculate and the host communication was good. Check in and out was easy, a great experience and holiday all round. We would recommend a stay at the villa and would return, if we came back to that area of Portugal.

Great to be back

We use to visit the villa a number of years ago and whilst we have regularly returned to the area we have used a number of different properties.And it was better than we remember - although we did miss the beer kegCouple of minor issues but the Cardosa team were very, very quick to respond.Great location - close to various restaurants; shops etc and only a short taxi,car journey to the beach; golf; tennis etc

Excellent Villa

This is one of the best holiday rentals we have stayed in for many years, The pictures do not do it justice its is an absolutely stunning villa. the gardens are immaculate, the pool & outside facilities were brilliant & kept us all entertained.Helena & her team were wonderful host, cleaning & fresh towels through out our 2 weeks was so nice. This Villa has everything you need for relaxing & near to great golf courses. We will be coming back.

Great house!

We had a really nice stay at the villa. The house is very well equipped and has everything you need. A big plus are the big bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms. Furthermore, the garden is amazing. We and the kids have enjoyed the nicely heated pool a lot. As Thanks for the nice stay we had here.

Wonderful Villa with lovely gardens

Second visit to Cardoso. Peaceful, child friendly, lots of space for children to run around safely. Hosts very quick to respond to any issues.

Fantastic! Definitely recommend

Can’t say anything bad about this property we had a fabulous holiday here. Accommodation excellent plenty of room all en suite. The pool and grounds were amazing. Table tennis pool table , putting green and use of tennis court .Plenty of crockery pans etc. Would have booked for 2025 but unfortunately it was booked when we wanted to go .Would definitely go again . Age range from 3 yrs to 73 yrs

Great villa

This is a great villa with an amazing garden, pool and huge outdoor space. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. We used all the facilities daily and especially enjoyed the heated pool. Communication with the manager was good she was always quick to respond. Check in process was very easy. The villa is at a very convenient location, with plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants within walking distance or few minutes drive.

Lovely spot

We had a lovely 2 weeks at the villa. The pool was a lovely temperature, the tennis court was great and the chipping/putting area kept a couple of us entertained! It’s a short walk to restaurants and the Peri Peri place (2 min walk) was brilliant. It’s by a train track but the trains are relatively infrequent and didn’t disturb us too much. Would definitely go again.

Amazing villa

We were a group of 6 adults 2 children and a baby. This villa is spacious inside and out. The outdoor activities (pool table, pitch and putt, tennis and the heated pool) kept the whole family entertained. The gardens are immaculate. The location for us was ideal - close to the airport for our early morning flight home and not to far from the attractions of the Algarve. I won’t lie the train track is close to the house but I can honestly say we barely noticed it. Will definitely be staying here again

Wonderful gardens, very spacious, good location

We stayed here for 2 weeks with two young children aged 4 and 1. We spent a lot of time in the villa using the pool and thoroughly enjoyed playing in the garden with the kids. Great location. Lots of supermarkets and restaurants a very short drive away. The new fat frog & Piri piri restaurants just a 2 minute walk. Wonderful having a cleaner twice a week including the pool and gardens were v neat and tidy. Would love to come and stay again. Thanks, Lucia was always helpful with any issues.

Great villa and location for local attractions

We came to relax and play some golf. Knowing the area well, we knew the location woould be ideal which is proved to be - with a car of course. A bonus was the friendly restaurant at the end of the track and just a minutes walk away. The villa was beautiful especially the gardens. We loved the feature ceilings of the longe and dining room. I guess in time the bathrooms and kitchen will need some TLC but perfectly fine and serviceable. The beds have been previously reported as quite firm, but this did not affect my family at all. The addition of a pool table, tennis and table tennis meant we were always playing something! We'll definitely by recommending the property particularly to our golfing friends

The perfect Holiday

We do have a great time in Villa Cardoso.Everything was almost perfect.The poperty was very clean and was also well-maintened.(cleaning 2 times/week) (changing towels,linen 2times/week)There are also many facilities at the Villa. (tennis court,ping pong table, beautiful heated pool, billiard, WIFI)The garden is well maintened and the Villa is centrally located in the Algarve,perfect for exploring the region. I will recommend this property to anyone.The Villa is also located in a quiet area.The manager(Lucia) of the Villa provides a very good customer service.You can contact her with all your questions.I will say it in 2 words:Great Villa

Fabulous Villa

Villa is absolutely fantastic, we had a lovely time. Made good use of table football, table tennis, golf, tennis court, pool table and most of all the pool, which was heated almost to bath temperature and was enjoyed by all. Rest of villa was perfectly adequate though beds were somewhat hard, softened by blankets which we used to our requirements. Villa is ideally located to many great places to eat out. Almancil is a little away from the main tourist locations, which we preferred, but close enough to visit them as we wished. Lucia was most welcoming. We had one issue which was resolved almost immediately and most efficiently. We would thoroughly recommend to others. We stayed for two weeks and the holiday has special memories for all of us.

I don't even know were to start. me and my family stayed here for a week and wish we stayed longer. the photos don't do justice the villa is amazing... the garden is unreal and all of us was in the pool most of the days.. children were ages 8 13 15 and was something for all of them to table tennis pool parle football table and swimming beautiful peri peri restaurant at the top of the road and we ate at the fat frog also at the end of the road the fat frog were very welcoming and food was lovely defo recommend to go their and 1000% recommend this villa can't wait to book for our next year hoilday me and the family all agreed to.make this our yearly place to go for a while. thank you for making our hlilday everything and more...

Family holiday

The property is set back in the outskirts of almancil. Dont get put off by the train line. The trains are electric and very few travel through. The house is a typical Portuguese home. There are plenty of things to do around the home like pitch and putt, table tennis poole and obviously the pool. The pond at the front is so tranquil and lovely to sit near and relax, reading a book or wayching the frogs jump! Some of the equipment needs attention (poole cues and table tenis bats need replacing along with a wobbly chair on the patio). The kitchen is well equipped with your essentials and the shops are not far away. Overall we had a fabulous holiday and would definitely return. Thank you Lucia for being a great house manager and looking after us.

Stunning villa in beautiful gardens

Beautiful spacious villa in very quiet rural location. The villa is down a track and next to railway line. The trains did not bother us at all. It was ticky to find it in the dark as the GPS coordinates take you to a different location. The villa is very well equiped with plenty of activities for all ages. My only comment would be that there are no vanity mirrors or dressing tables for ladies to sit down and do their hair makeup etc. You have to stand over the sinks in the bathrooms. It would make such a difference. The rooms in the villa have plenty of room and the air con works well everywhere. The beds are very hard but that seems normal everywhere!! We could have done with more than 1 pillow per bed in the twin room. Pls remember that adults also use the twin rooms! Whilst there are large security gates/alarms to get into the villa there is a gate at the bottom of the garden which accesses the shared tennis courts. This is broken and not secure which means anyone could come into your villa from the other villa. Several times a stranger appeared in our garden 'to have a look'. This was a problem for us as we had young children with us. This gate is also used by cleaners, pool operatives and gardeners to move between the two villas and they leave it open all the time. A note of caution the above staff just turn up in your garden/villa unannounced. It would be better if they rang the bell on the gates before just appearing in the garden/house. The midweek clean was non existent - at no point during our 2 week stay were the bathroom taps sinks etc even wiped over. They changed the linens and took out the rubbish and gave a cursory wipe of the kitchen and front hall floors - nothing else. Having said that Lucia was easy to contact and thank you for the wine!. We would have no hesitation in coming back again to Villa Cardosa - it is a truly stunning villa with everything a family could need.

Boa experiência.

No geral aconselho a estadia a qualquer família, sem qualquer duvida. Em pormenores, a expressão de "piscina aquecida" parece um excesso, pois uma manta térmica serve para não perder temperatura e não para a ganhar, pois de dia a manta está recolhida. O estar mesmo em frente de uma linha férrea, embora sem referências no anuncio, não teve qualquer perturbação na estadia.

Experiência foi boa e correspondeu às expectativas. Moradia muito agradável e espaçosa com divisões muito boas. Cozinha bem equipada e bom serviço limpeza. Como notas de melhoria, sugeria a mudança dos colchões/camas de casal e um melhor guarda sol/ pérgola entre a piscina e a casa de modo a usufruir-se desse espaço para refeições ao almoço/tarde.

Der Pool war super und wurde von Erwachsenen und Kindern ausgiebig genutzt. Die Zimmer waren groß, sauber und hatten alle ein eigenes Bad. Die Villa ist absolut familienfreundlich.
