Escape to this beautiful and peaceful lakeside retreat in Greenwich. This private 2-bedroom, 1 bath, and a kitchenette space in lakefront home overlooks Frye Lake, with stunning year-round views. The backyard includes a short trail, bench, and a picnic table with beautiful views of the lake. Each room features a king-size bed, TV, and WiFi. A kitchenette with a double burner electric stove is provided for cooking. Easy access to NYC via train. Book now for a unique experience of relaxation and lakefront activity. Note that the owner is staying at the property too. The wooden patio at the back of the house (not shown in photos) is for the owners use only. Please be mindful not to disturb neighbors through loud sounds etc. Please wash utensils provided in the kitchenette after use. Please also exercise caution while walking outside as some parts are rustic in nature. Owner assumes no liability for injuries or other loss or damage to renters property while on premise. No smoking indoor. Please select the correct number of guests as there is a fee for each additional guest over two guests. Payment for extra guests will be requested on arrival.

We had a fabulous stay in this lovely setting! The view was very nice. And even for being in back Greenwich we were convenient to downtown, Cos Cob and North Stamford. Our hosts were super responsive and very nice. The room was comfortable and quiet. All in all we would definitely come back and highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this one-bedroom apartment in Greenwich. The place was spotless, well equipped, and very comfortable, with a lovely mini kitchen that had everything we needed. The view overlooking the pond was beautiful and added to the peaceful atmosphere.The neighborhood was quiet and charming, and the host was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. Overall, it was a gorgeous and relaxing place to stay, and we would definitely recommend it.

This property was gorgeous. Situated on a beautiful lake. Foliage was spectacular. Host very friendly. The MOST comfortable beds!! We were 25 mins from Sleepy Hollow which is why we were visiting. Highly recommend.

Great spot! Very quiet and clean. When you check in, make sure you know how to close the garage door when you're leaving. Folks who don't like microfiber might consider bringing their own bedding. It seemed like perhaps family photos had been taken off the wall leaving exposed screws; might be nice to have a set of art that can be swapped.

What a great find! This cozy private 2 bedroom is perfect for anyone looking to stay in the Greenwich or surrounding areas. So much nature light and a view of beautiful tree and the lake.The hosts are incredibly nice and are very responsive to questions you might have.Bed are very comfortable, very clean, tv's in both bedrooms and a great shower. A must stay for sure in a very quite, well represented neighborhood.

Stay was great. We arrived late but the garage door was open and the path was clear to the suite. The suite was clean and quite large. My only true complaint was that there was no blind near the window next to the door and it faced out. But that aside it was great host was responsive even late at nights and told us where to park.

This was a lovely home on a lake in Greenwich. Our hostess greeted us most kindly and showed us around. The accommodations were perfectā€¦2 large bedrooms, a bathroom and a little kitchen area with a sink. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to stock the fridge with a few more bottles of water and to have some paper towel on hand in the kitchen. Otherwise, brilliant. Thanks!

Great alternative to expensive hotels in the area

This property is a wonderful alternative to the expensive hotels around Greenwich. It was no frills - there are two bedrooms with large beds and TVs, a bathroom, and kitchenette with a pod coffeemaker. We didn't spend a lot of time there, which worked for us. It's quiet, backcountry Greenwich, on a pond. We saw a fox and a baby deer and fell asleep to the bullfrogs.

George was a wonderful host and so responsive with all my messages. The area was beautiful and my kids loved the fishing and kayaking. Every morning they woke up and went fishing and anytime we came back to the property, they went fishing and kayaking until it was too dark. There were so many adorable places amongst the property to sit and relax.The rooms had two king size beds, which was fine for them to share for the (2) nights we stayed. Everything was clean and fresh. If Iā€™m ever in the area again, I would stay here.

The location near the lake is nice. There are 2 l bedrooms, each with a king size bed, and one with a view of the lake. The decorations are very sparse, but there is a place to sit down at a small desk and work.What they call a kitchenette itā€™s just a hot plate, a small refrigerator, a sink and a microwave. There are no knives, forks, or spoons, no plates, no cooking utensils, and no waste paper basket. The only thing we could do was use the Keurig machine for a cup of coffee in the morning.

An idyllic Greenwich retreat, perfect for our family of 4

George and Subhas home was perfect for our family to spend a weekend in southern Connecticut while in town for the weekend to visit friends. We have two young daughters (age 1 and age 6) and always try to find places to stay where they can have their own room. The rooms were very spacious and clean, with VERY comfortable king beds. Our babies pack and play actually fit perfectly in the closet which was great, since our girls go to bed at separate times. The big windows in the primary bedroom had the most beautiful sunrise view of the lake. The property itself is amazing, overlooking the water with a couple spots to hang out outdoors ā€¦ itā€™s definitely on the rustic side getting down to the lake/dock, so sneakers and flashlights would be a good idea if going down at night to sit on the dock. They were kind enough to let us have our local friends hang out with us for a few hours in the evening on the dock. We loved sitting on the lake on a warm summer night.. really a magical place! In the morning, my husband and 6 year old took one of the canoes out (they provided life jackets) and they loved it. We wouldnt hesitate booking here again the next time we are coming to Connecticut, as itā€™s truly a great location and home.

Quiet, peaceful location with great views of the lake. We have stayed here multiple times. Hosts are friendly and welcoming. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. There is plenty to do in the area. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this to others.
