Our luxurious penthouse is in an elevator secured building in the heart of Centro Historico! Enjoy all the comforts of home and more in our finely appointed apartment. One master suite has views and terrace access, with a modern bathroom plus a jacuzzi tub for 2 in a rock walled alcove. The other master suite has a charming colonial decor and a master bathroom with dual sinks and rain shower. Both master suites feature king sized beds of the highest quality and comfort available, featuring a full 4 inches of memory foam pillowtop on a supportive orthopedic core. They also include private bathrooms with showers, bathrobes, bowl sinks and granite, plus 32' LED TVs. The third bedroom has a rustic theme with two comfortable twin beds, views and terrace access. All beds feature a choice between 500 thread count cotton linens, as well as fluffy down alternative comforters with duvets and blankets. All three bedrooms and the living room feature vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams. The social bathroom has a glass block shower, toilet, and even a urinal. The gourmet kitchen features gorgeous granite, a dishwasher, 6 burner stove and oven, microwave and large fridge with filtered water and ice in the door. The Living room has a soft comfortable sectional and a 42' LG plasma TV with a huge DVD library and Direct TV HD with a Blu Ray player. All rooms have DVD players. The entire apartment includes a terrace with unobstructed 5th floor views over centro, including a granite breakfast bar overlooking the impressive icon of Cuenca, the new cathedral.

Our home is cleaned to a strict standard between each set of visitors, and cleaned and stocked according to a checklist, so that you can rest assured that you'll have a wonderful stay free of the common pitfalls of stays in a foreign country. The kitchen is equipped with all of the dinnerware, cookware, silverware and barware you will need, plus small and large appliances. We provide paper towels, sugar, salt, pepper, coffee and tea. The towels are plush and plentiful and we provide thick toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, liquid soap and blow dryers in each of the three bathrooms. We provide 3 huge flat-screen televisions, one smaller flat-screen TV, all with DVD or Blu Ray players and two with Direct TV HD a huge video library and high-speed wireless internet. The building has an elevator straight to our door that only services 3 apartments, so you won't have to climb any stairs like in most centro homes, or even wait for a busy elevator like in a high rise. The building is very secure with a friendly guard from morning to night. When the guard isn't there, you are behind 3 locked metal doors. The apartment is quiet as it is 5 stories up, with dual-paned laminated glass throughout and no walls are shared with any neighbors. There are just 2 other residences, and the rest of the building is occupied by offices, mostly law offices. If you have a rental car, there is a parking lot next door. If you have more than 6 people, there is an extra double mattress to sleep two more, and a dining room table for 8. For your comfort, all rooms have black-out curtains, there are portable heaters, an electric fireplace, a double electric blanket, and extra pillows and blankets, and unlimited hot water. There is a full-sized washer with hot water and gas dryer for your use. We use only hypo-allergenic fragrance-free detergents.
