Welcome to your dreamy Hawaiian getaway! Our fully furnished oceanfront beachfront condo offers a nostalgic retro vintage vibe paired with all the comforts of home. From the moment you arrive, you'll be immersed in the relaxing ambiance of paradise looking out your condo to the ocean!

Inside the Condo:
Fully stocked kitchen with charming retro appliances
Vintage-inspired furnishings with a warm, inviting feel
Ceiling fans in every room, plus additional desk fans for added comfort
No A/C, but strong tradewinds breeze through from front to back thanks to screen doors – naturally cooling the space
Elevator access to all floors
Maintenance manager on site and available if needed

Lanai (Balcony):
Start your day with Hawaiian coffee on your Lanai/Balcony watching the gorgeous sunrise over the Haleakalā Volcano to the left and whales frolicking in front of you with their babies (during whale season). View of all the beautiful boats coming in and out of the harbor, End your day with a sunset that lights the skies with the most beautiful colored skies sipping on a Pina Colada or Mai Tai.

Please Note:
No air conditioning, but ample fans and breezy tradewinds that cool you off instantly when you open front door and use only the screen door getting tradewind breezing all the way through the condo out the lanai.
No pets allowed
No smoking inside the condo or on the lanai
A designated smoking area is available on the first floor
Violation results in a $250 fine and immediate termination of your stay

Peaceful location with beautiful ocean views!

Our family stayed here for 10 wonderful nights. We enjoyed listening to the ocean out the lanai and our bedroom windows. The kids loved the boogie boards that were provided. We really appreciated the lawn chairs and ice chests as well. If you are looking for an oceanfront condo without the hustle of all the resorts this is where you want to be! We would highly recommend this place and would definitely love to come back.

Chill and relax

This is a wonderful vacation retreat. The condo was clean, comfortable and well stocked with the essentials. The size was good for our group of four.The views were beautiful. We watched the whales, the sunrise over Haleakala and the green sea turtles. The outdoor grilling area is great. The ocean is right there! Maalaea Bay is a prefect spot to stay. It is quite and right at the harbor. In our opinion it is a hidden gem. Yes, you do get some trade winds but this condo is centrally located. You are in the middle of things, you can take a trip to Wailea or Kaanapali or just enjoy the pool and condo. We truly enjoyed this lovely spot and would highly recommend it. Aloha

So many whales

We found another great location in Maui in Ma’alea bay. Easy drive to many things. I loved our ability to watch so much whale activity. The condo was dated but very clean. The residents in the condominium were very friendly. I will say the tone of the owner was off-putting before we arrived but they were responsive once we arrived. Also, the listed rent on the VRBO website changed to a higher rate once I requested the dates.

Wonderful location

Maalea Bay is an easy drive from the airport and gives access to both sides of Maui. The unit is walking distance from the wonderful Maui Ocean Center Aquarium as well as a delightful beach at the end of the street. The lanai faces Haleakala across the bay. Many sea turtle sightings from the front lawn. Lovely swimming pool. Close to restaurants, farmers markets and snorkeling beaches.

Great quiet and central location

The property is located so that both western coasts were easily reachable, as well as being close to nice beach park and marina. Property was very clean with everything you need for cooking. Beds were great for a family of 4 and the living area was comfortable. Nice views and close enough to the airport. There was good and timely information provided by the owner for how to use the property on arrival and departure.

Location, location, location, but tired.

The pros: The central location and view can't be beat, along with turtles front and centre on the rocks as well as watching the whales every day!!! Lynn was most responsive to all our correspondence at any time!! The cons: The condo is dated and could use some serious TLC. Couch and chairs have seen better days and are very sinky ....twin beds could desperately use new frames....the bathrooms have peeling vinyl and really need to be re-done. Carpet in a beach condo... All cosmetic, and never affected our stay, but with the price we paid, updates need to happen. Having to supply toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap etc is just strange.....I have never experienced this in all my VRBO rentals. Some easy and welcoming touches would go a long way to giving this a great rating......flowers upon arrival.....a welcome basket with coffee, tea and local goodies (Mac nuts etc) This is the first place where none of these things were present. If you are looking for luxury, this isn't the place. If you are looking for a central Maui location with great views...look no further. We really did enjoy our stay!!! Mahalo

Beautiful view, friendly neighbors

The lanai was facing the ocean, and we had coffee and watched the whales every morning. What a beautiful way to start the day. Turtles were right off of the lawn, and were feeding in the ocean. Very clean pool (it's right under the lanai) and was quiet during evening, early morning and nighttime hours. It was very windy while we were there, and the condo is situated such that the trade winds come from the back of the condo, leaving the lanai protected which was nice. No A/C but fans Things were mostly clean (windows dirty and spots on carpet). It's an older unit and things such as old kitchen knives, lids that don't match, the sliding door to the lanai was hard to open/close, etc. It could really use a facelift. I found the manager difficult to work with. Pages of legal jargon and a very confusing check out time. Some listed noon, others listed 11 and received a 'reminder' when we were out by 11:30. For check in, we didn't need to be there at the allowed time, but she checked with us 2x because the cleaner needed extra time to clean beyond the check in time. It was fine, but we felt that we were not welcome. The twin beds were extremely uncomfortable even after me asking prior to booking. An oversized foam on top of the hard mattress, sheets were cheap and didn't stay on the bed. We bought cotton sheets due to old synthetic and 'sticky' hot sheets. Overall, the location of the condo units was great (although windy), but I would not recommend this unit to friends.

Great location

The property was clean and well maintained. The lack of air-conditioning was not a factor. There was a nice breeze coming in from the ocean. We stayed in February and were able to see turtles on the beach and whales from our balcony.

Great location and view

The property was as described in the listing and I feel good value for Maui. Beautiful grounds and view. We had rain which happens more in January. In spite of this we had a great time sitting on the lanai and watching humpback whales. The shore is rocky but you are just a 5 minute walk from 6 miles of beach.

Relaxing week in Maui

Loved hearing the waves and seeing the many whales from the condo. We enjoyed staying here as it was nice and quiet. The condo had all that was needed for us to cook a meal, walk to some lovely restaurants, enjoy an early morning snorkeling trip and visit the entire island. A great way to start 2023!!!

Hidden Gem

If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing environment, conveniently located-but not super touristy- look no further! This condo really made our trip fantastic! The view is beautiful and proximity to the ocean is just perfect- waking up with the sun rising over Haleakala, and the waves lulling us to sleep at night, you really cant beat it! It is in a bit of a wind pocket- but it helps with the heat and humidity. The property is well maintained and everyone is very nice- especially Lynn- who went above and beyond to make sure an issue was fixed before our visit; despite the quick turnaround from the previous guests. Fantastic Anniversary and Birthday

Our family vacation was perfect and it was largely because of this amazing condo. The location is perfect. Each morning we would take a stroll along the water on our way to the nearby general store for coffee/breakfast. The neighbors are so friendly and welcoming and one even invited us to play golf! So great and would certainly stay here again.

Maui Trip

My family really enjoyed staying in this condo. Great view and the proximity to everything was perfect. Our snorkeling excursion was walking distance which made it perfect. Yes it was hot and the A/C was definitely missed but having the doors open and using the fans made the evening nice and cool. I would definitely recommend this condo as it does have a beautiful view.

Nice Condo, Convenient location

We usually stay in West Maui, but since we were booking on relatively short notice (about a month out) the options in West Maui were few and very high priced. We decide on this property because it was reasonably priced and conveniently located to access all parts of Maui. The condo property itself is very well maintained and pretty. It has great views of Kihei and Maalaea Bay. The condo itself is dated, but that shouldn't be a surprise as the pictures definitely show you what you are getting. I struggled on how to rate this property overall because although the condo is dated and it doesn't have air conditioning (all of which is shown and stated upfront) it was clean, quiet, convenient, had lovely views, and communication with owners was easy and they were quick to respond...which makes me lean towards giving it a 5. Just know it's not a 5 star property, but 5 stars in the sense of you get what is pictured for a reasonable price, will have great views and a clean place to stay. I would have no problem staying there again during cooler weather temps. During higher temps I would definitely prefer something with an AC.

Feels like home in paradise

Great VRBO experience. Keyless entry was really convenient! All the amenities you would need on a vacation getaway. The view is beyond gorgeous from the balcony. I would love to book again when we return, just loved it!

Enjoy a panoramic view of the sparkling Pacific Ocean and the iconic Molokini Crater, a volcanic islet known for some of the best snorkeling excursions in Maui. Whether you're whale watching (in season), soaking in views of the majestic West Maui Mountains, or spotting sea turtles right at the edge of our rocky beach, the natural beauty here is unforgettable.

Our condo is perfectly located within walking distance to:

Sugar Beach – a long, serene stretch of sandy shoreline from Maalaea all the way to Kihei; perfect for morning walks, a beach day, swimming, surfing, boogie boarding, floating, snorkeling, beach-combing, peaceful sunrises and spectacular sunset colored skies. We’ve seen monk seals and turtles beached here.

Our place is oceanfront and beachfront with a panoramic gorgeous view, lush grounds, gas BBQ overlooking ocean, and sparkling pool. Whale season--no need to leave condo as sitting on your balcony you'll see whales morning to evening. Turtles can be seen right at edge of ocean at our rocky beach in front of the gas BBQ's, chaise lounge chairs and tiki lights below whispering palm trees. Walk to dinner.
